Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Stone Town

My stay was awesome, peaceful, quiet, and safe. The neighborhood is well-secured, and I appreciate that. I enjoyed the fresh air and the breeze from the balcony. I also loved that the place is fully equipped I bet I'll try cooking next time I book.

We stayed at Eta's Airbnb last year and came back again because we liked it so much!!! The A/C in the bedrooms is great, I love the location, the decor and little extras are thoughtful and we love that the suite is on the main floor. The only downside this year was, the neighbours upstairs were louder than last year with a screaming toddler who was often up by 5:00 am. The master bedroom had windows facing the courtyard and it was very loud. I would still stay at this suite again though!!! Thanks Romain and Eta... see you next year!!!

Great place to rest with friends and family, very friendly staff!

Fantastic location on the ocean, with fabulous views from all terraces and especially from the upper outside deck. Great open plan living space with views and spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms . The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and discreet, always there to greet and assist. The property and gardens are really well designed and have a great flow. Superb walks to the reefs at low tide. The remote location provides great privacy and relaxation, highly recommended. We will be back!

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts on this place. I honestly don't even know where to begin because the Airbnb was absolutely incredible. Its location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The house itself was spotless and every detail was carefully considered. I stayed with my friends and we were able to easily explore all the main attractions in Zanzibar. The beach was just a short walk away, and Stone Town was less than a 20-minute drive. We made it a point to visit the night market (Forodhani) every evening because it was conveniently nearby. As for the host, they were always available to assist us. One thing I highly recommend doing while you're there is booking a Bajaji, a small vehicle that can take you anywhere, and the host will gladly help you arrange it. Overall, I had an incredible experience and truly enjoyed my time there.

Veronica was very kind. She welcomed our family into her home. We wanted a place close to the airport so fly out the next day. Driving into the neighborhood, we started to get a little worried. It's a few minutes down a dirt road. She was able to give our driver precise directions. Once we got behind the secured gate, we were amazed by the property. We hung up our wet beach clothes outside on the spacious patio and clothesline. The kitchen had all the amenities. A separate dining area, a sitting area with 3 couches and TV, 3 bedrooms(2 with en suite bathrooms then a 3rd bathroom). AC in every room which was a bonus for us coming from not having any for 3 days in Nungwi. Hot water in the baths/showers. I slept on the couch comfortably whilst others enjoyed their private rooms/beds. In the neighborhood, I felt safe enough to walk 10 min to a fruit stand and small grocery to make breakfast. The kids in the area were so sweet. We gave them treats and they were grateful!Thank you!

The place is a nice place to stay especially if you want to be central and near the station. Stone Town is close by and the attractions along Stone town. It is decent and good value. We were barely in the House as we toured during the day. But Samuel is very helpful and very friendly. And quite responsive even when we came in a bit late from our daily trips. Olipa is also very responsive. And helpful. And checked in on us.

My stay in Edna's really nice apartment is absolutely recommenable. Here you get a clean place with modern facilities, extra cleaning if needed and a very quick response from the owner if you have any question. The area is a safe area, very quiet (exept, see later) nicely kept, you find both a café nearby, and in the evening down by the sea a really chilled place to eat and hang out. It's also here you in the daytime can go "to the beach" - a fenced area with beachsand, beach chairs and umbrellas to shade for the sun - but also the very nice pool, also with sunchairs and umbrellas. A really nice spot to go and enjoy the sun. Only two things on the downside - it's difficult to go in the ocean...or, it's difficult to get up again after going in, because this is not a beach, but cliffs. Secondly, if you are easily bothered by any kind of sound, there will during the day and late afternoon be some noise from the buildings that are in process of being build, it didn't bother me though!

Mohammed and staff were very accommodating during our stay. If you are looking for a location that’s centrally located because you want to explore the island then this is great. It’s also easy access to stone town without being directly in stone town. Villa was as advertised and the daily Swahili breakfast was an unexpected nice surprise. I’d go back.

Such a beautiful and cozy home! It had a very warm, welcoming feel that made us feel right at home. Everything was thoughtfully set up, and the space was perfect for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

Really great stay at this apartment, boutique feel and just like the photos. The complex where the property is situated is big but the host is easy to reach via message , phone call and inbox. Cleaner service every couple of days was a bonus. I stayed here with my family and was very happy and safe.

I recommend, it’s a very neat studio apartment in inside one of the best neighborhoods in Zanzibar

Moza was great communicated well and provided a great place to stay. The location has a lot of stuff within walking distance so it was very convenient and safe.

Travelled as a family of 2 adults + 3 kids! Clara’s place was exactly what we needed for our short Stone Town stay. Walking distance to everything in Stone Town, and quite a cozy place. Host was also available anytime we needed any assistance. Would highly recommend Clara’s place for families or a bunch of friends traveling together.

This house was beautiful one of the most beautiful houses i have stayed at . Elias was so much help he was always ready and willing to help, he is a friendly person the house was spotless clean, everything was great only challenge was getting around since the house was abit far from the main road ,so transport and shops are quite hard to access at your convenience . However Elias always had transport arranged for us in case we needed anything . If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place then this house is the best... our biggest challenge was the power kept going on and off and this is not something he had control over ... the whole of Zanzibar had the same issue ALL IN ALL the house looks much better physically than it even does in the pics its comfortable makes you feel right at home

Great location.. right in the middle of Stone Town and great for exploring the streets and sites. The accommodation is set over 4 floors with 2 bathrooms on the first and second floor. Lovely clean bed linen and great wifi and A/C. I would definitely recommend to others.
