Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

The Old Farmhouse (Trossachs) - Achray Farm

Achray Farm is a working smallholding / goat farm and ice-cream maker in the Trossachs. We offer holiday let stays in The Old Farmhouse & The Cake House (sleeps 4). Old Farmhouse was renovated in 2019 to create bright, spacious accommodation whist retaining original features, along with a wood burning stove and complimented by 300Mbs fibre WiFi & biomass heating. Our location is the perfect start for walking, cycling & touring the area right from the door and walking distance from the tearoom.

Lochside Cottage

Lochside Cottage has stunning loch views, is pet-friendly, has new satellite internet in Jan 2024 and a wood-burning stove. It sleeps 8 (+2 ) with all bed linen/towels provided. It is a beautiful rural location, surrounded by forests and mountains, with various shops and attractions available within a hour's drive. Lochside Cottage is near many different lochs, woodland walks, and mountains, which all have their own character. It is very quiet and peaceful, and is an ideal waterside retreat.

It is a totally private secret escape. This is truly a place to relax and to get away from it all. Just sit on the deck, or take a stroll along the banks of the Loch. The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).

Ploughmans Cottage is located in the Village of Furnace, 7 miles from Inveraray, in Argyll. The cottage was built around 1890 to house the Ploughman for Goatfield Farm, and has been extensively remodelled to create a unique getaway. Short Term Let Licence No ST00306F A former blacksmiths workshop lovingly modernised to provide a bright and comfortable cottage. Located on the waters edge of Loch Katrine in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher etc. Bed linen and towels are provided for your stay. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a Sunday arrival or departure.

We built the cabin to a high specification, it is in the middle of the forest with incredible views down to the loch, a burn running close to the front door and all the hill walking and wildlife around you that you would expect in Scotland. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan kitchen, living/dining room. Perfect for nature lovers, hillwalkers and anyone looking for a space to decompress and disconnect for a while.
