Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sturgis

The home was very very nice. Very clean and smelled so very fresh. The area was peaceful and quiet. Megan was very responsive when we had a question. We requested that the propane tank for the grill was full and she made sure that it was. We would give it a 10 out of 10 !!! We would love to stay their again if we are in the area. Thank you Megan....

We had a wonderful stay at The Cottage! The home was exactly as described. It was clean, cozy, and well decorated. We felt right at home. The location was great on a quiet residential street…but close to restaurants and shopping. The porch swing was a great way to relax and unwind after a long day of driving! Check-in was smooth, communication was excellent, and the whole experience was seamless from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Absolutely loved the stay and everything about it, my only con was that we “didn’t stay there long enough” was really only there to sleep as we were gone on full day trips, would have loved more lounging around time lol. Also as you see in the photos it’s a lot of steps up to get inside and there’s no alternate route 😆 keep that in mind when you have multiple kids and a gross amount of luggage to carry in! Didn’t phase us though l, maybe would be different for someone who struggles with stairs. The hosts went above and beyond for us. Traveled from Buffalo NY, and would love to come back someday.

Best place we've ever stayed. The kids had fun playing in the stream and enjoyed the games while my husband and i either joined them or lounged on the back deck. It was nice to have a good, clean place to cook and the grill was helpful. The rooms were well thought out for the space, and it was nice to have a window AC unit in each room, though we stayed when we only really needed them one day, most of the days open windows with a breeze was perfect. The dog was in heaven, and even wanted to become an outside dog instead of staying an inside dog. Instructions were great and they had some nice personal touches. The place was clean and in good working order. It was a a good spot for being close to cool things to do and see without being in the middle of crazy. It was such a beautiful, peaceful place. We'd definitely come back and stay here again.

we had a lovely stay at The Sunset! it was the perfect size for us and had all the amenities we could possibly think of! the location was excellent for all of our day trips. highly recommend!

We were in town for an event for my youngest daughter. It was important for us to feel comfortable and relaxed so she could have a stress free week. Adam and Saunta did that perfectly with their home. We truly felt at home there. It had everything we needed and more. To have our kids come back at the end of the day and just feel relaxed was worth so much to us. They were also extremely kind and helpful during our entire stay. We would definitely book again with them! Thank you for having us!

The perfect space for a solo traveler or a couple. It’s small and decorated with thoughtfulness and style. I was comfortable and found everything i needed. The stairs are very steep (think spiral staircase) but solid and manageable. And it’s an easy downhill walk to Main Street with all of its restaurants, cafes, shops etc. and there’s a lovely tiny yard with chairs and table and small grassy area.

Where do we even begin... the moment we got there we were immediately impressed with the location and appearance of the property. The inside had all the basics we needed to get us through... and Deb was an absolute gem 💎 ✨️; she took the time to explain things to us and give us suggestions of things to do in and around Deadwood. We will be back and that's where we would stay.

Peter is on his game. We had 2 vehicles with an abundance of parking options. Everything is quite new and had everything we needed to make dinners, including gas range. The layout is open and spacious enough for 4 of us to relax in our own areas. Although it's close to busier roads, it was very quiet and secure. There are so many places for food and fun within walking distance. This is a perfect place to stay based on cleanliness, value, safety & hospitality.

We enjoyed are stay here! Was nice and cozy and we felt right at home. Ryan was very communicative through the process.

Aaron’s place exceeded our expectations. It was exactly like the photos and description - and more (we’re stealing some interior design points!). The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved that we could walk around the neighbourhood easily. There are some fantastic restaurants and bars in easy walking distance (we particularly liked Hay Camp brewery and the Bashful Bison deli). It’s also a quick drive out to the Badlands and Black Hills.

Perfect location and a beautiful home.

I would like to thank her for making our first Airbnb experience a fantastic one. We felt at home, and the beds were so comfortable. It looked just like the pictures. Would totally recommend this place if you’re planning on visiting. She also went above and beyond by mailing me back an item I left behind. It was a sentimental item too.

Nancy and Dan are great hosts who respond promptly and care about their guests. We arrived late at night the first day of our stay and when I inquired about a fast food place, Nancy responded promptly with information. This is only one example of how quickly Nancy and Dan responded to us. They were always available if we needed anything throughout the duration of our stay. When we arrived Dan had a color coded map prepared for us with routes marked out to the various attractions in the area. He also suggested places of interest that we might want to visit, as well as how to make the most of each day. Thank you to both of you for being great hosts!

The stay was wonderful. Place was further out of town than expected but beautiful scenery and peaceful location. Very close to ski slopes if that is what you are there to do.

My husband and I stayed at Cyndie's place on our way to the Bighorn Mountains. She had such thoughtful touches, snacks, eyeglass cleaner, all the toiletries you could need. Very comfortable bed, and gorgeous setting. We went for an evening walk yo enjoy the scenery, and saw several deer galloping down the ravine. Very peaceful, highly recommend!

My family had a great time at this airBnB! It was clean and welcoming, our host was extremely responsive and helpful and we had zero complaints. We would definitely come back and we appreciated the lower price which added a low stress factor to our trip. My brother mentioned that he most appreciated the quality toilet paper that was provided and I told him I would be sure to mention that for him. Overall it was a wonderful stay and a great place to stay in Lead with hosts who clearly care about their guests. Thank you!!

The Condo was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The only draw back was the road closure caused a long detour to Custer and the surrounding area. The shortest detour is going through Lead to Interstate 90. If you let the GPS pick the route it takes you up through the Black Hills on Mining/Logging Roads.

The condo was perfect for two couples. We were able to cook meals for ourselves with the well-appointed kitchen, and each couple had our own bathrooms. It was such a great stay for us. We would go back again without a doubt!

We were all very pleased and happy with the Airbnb. Everyone was comfortable, beautiful location even locally we spent time exploring everyone in the area was pleasant and kind. When I had any questions. Sharon and Keith responded right away.

This was our first stay at an AirBnb and we were a bit worried on what we're getting ourselves into. Our worries were completely unfounded. The place was super clean, had 2 nice bedrooms with good mattresses, and a nice kitchen with a good coffee maker (almost the most important part for me). The host was very pro-active and communicated everything that we needed to know in a very timely manner. Would stay here again.

Budi’s Door 4 was the perfect location for our weekend in Deadwood. You simply can’t beat the location of this property and it was so amazing to stay in a building with so much history. Budi was an amazing, kind, and responsive host. We’ll hope to stay at Door 4 every time we visit from now on!
