We had a delightful stay at Casa Amandos . Caroline made contact soon after booking to ensure we were clear about where to go, which route to drive, and even the weather forecast. We were well prepared with her suggested stop along the way at the massive shopping mall to pick up supplies before heading north. She met us in Sedella and delivered logs for the fireplace which we made good use of in early April. Her guide book is excellent with recommendations for eating/drinking/shopping and walks. The place is beautifully situated and well desgined, clearly a much loved home and not just a rented property. There is complete privacy., well stocked library and even an orange squeezer If you enjoy cooking in a well equipped kitchen, including a gas bbq. The place is designed to keep cool in the heat and warm in the cool. Our visits to the local villages for coffee, wonderful bakery, and fresh fish were highlights. We are already planning our next trip! Thank you, Caroline!

Our stay at the villa was exactly what they had hoped. It’s a pleasant villa, easy to find and close to a small village with good restaurants as recommended by the hosts. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

We (a family of 4 adults) have just returned from a 9-night stay at Casa de Los Robles and had a fabulous time. The casa location and surrounding views are stunning. Due to it's remote location, you do need a car to get about. We had a busy itinerary with planned day trips to Granada, Cordoba, Ronda, Nerja and you can get to these locations very easily, with the furthest journey taking about 2.5 hours. The facilities at the casa are excellent - it was a bit too cold during our stay to use the pool, but I understand from David he is planning to have a heat pump installed shortly, which will make it much more welcoming! We took full advantage of the pool table and the putting green. All in all we had a great time, and Rafa is a terrific guy who is very helpful and will come at short notice to help with any issues you may have during the stay.

I stayed for a weekend with my family and the experience was great. The house is small but with all the amenities, but what is really worth it is the exterior. Perfect for a family with children. The cleanliness was outstanding, it was pristine and very well cared for. The hosts were very attentive, they even recommended things to do in the village. In short, a ten out of ten experience.

We had a fantastic stay at Jennifer and Raul's. Couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and unwind by the pool with stunning views. The hosts were lovely and very responsive to our messages and questions

We had a very pleasant stay in this villa. The host, Paco, was very helpful and attentive and really helped to make our time at the villa enjoyable- having gifted us delicious churros one morning which were arguably the best we tried anywhere in Spain. The villa itself has no faults. The house is beautiful and designed in a charming traditional Spanish style. The rooms and beds were very clean and comfortable, the bathrooms had consistently warm running water and were clean also and the kitchen was stocked with every appliance necessary The view from the pool area of the house is very beautiful also and the pool / garden area would be a great place to relax and enjoy in warm weather Overall, this villa has no faults and was an amazing stay for our big family of 9 people. We thank Paco and his son Francisco for accommodating us in their gorgeous villa. Sandra

We were 6 friends very comfortable and comfortable. Beautiful house, spacious and well stocked with everything, sheets, towels, kitchen dining... The host is very caring and friendly host. Great value. Definitely looking forward to coming back. Thanks for everything.

100% recommended. We were 2 couples with 2 babies and loved it. The house had absolutely everything, super well equipped and the setting great. The pool is also super clean and that's what we were in April. The very easy communication by whastapp with Caroline and we had flexible in and out, which helped us a lot with the babies. We would definitely repeat.

A quaint rural cottage with spectacular views and intricate attention to detail from multiple communal areas, view points, roof top seating area (to watch breathtaking sunsets) to even a specially written handbook for all the lowdown on local amenities, not to mention a beautiful pool with mountain top views to provide relief from the summer heat, clearly a well loved home which you can't help adoring from the first moment you step through the threshold, highly recommend.

Dear fellow travellers, Alan is a great hosts, warmly welcoming you. Guides you to the place (which is really a hidden gem) and he gives solid instructions about the house. Also Alan can tip you on walking and shopping. All works great, and is pretty idiot proof in use :-). Be aware that the swimming pool lamp is in the hallway, but that is the only remark I have on this excellent place and tastefully decorated house on the hill. Enjoy your stay.

A home for a dream stay with the family. Excellent cleanliness. The owner is hyper-responsive. The place is quiet among the olive trees and benefits from all the amenities to spend pleasant moments for young and old alike. We would recommend it.

We loved this place! The pictures do not do this place justice, the view is absolutely unreal! So much stuff inside the villa too, the main bedroom is like a 5* suite in a hotel, amazing place. Communication with manager was fantastic and nothing was too much. She is amazing. The only things that i would comment about are the wasps, around lunchtime to 5pm, there must have been around 100ish wasps by the pool. They get thirsty, and we ended up getting stung around 6-7 times ( children too ). The manager tried to sort something out for us but they couldn't find the nest and it's a hard problem to sort. It is a real pain, which is such a shame and of course not a problem of the owner or manager, but something to be aware of. Outside space is fantastic, good sun beds, however the umbrellas need replacing as it gets hot in the summer and they are not in good condition. The town of Periana is lovely, great supermarket, bakers, little shops and also a wonderful gym which Hector owns and is only 10euro for 10 days, friendly people and a lovely town. You are around 30mins from the coast which for us was fine. The villa is so secluded which suited us well, kids could make as much noise by the pool as they wanted. I would recommend this villa to anyone wanting some tranquility and unreal views. The sunsets are amazing. Just be aware of the wasps, it did make the pool time unpleasant at times, but if this can somehow get sorted, it's the perfect place and we will return!

We’ve just had a fabulous week at this amazing villa. When we arrived our teenage girls said they felt like they were on the set of Love Island! Such a beautiful villa with stunning views. Lovely areas to sit and relax, very comfortable sun beds around the pool. We took advantage of Patsy’s paella evening which was just great, and had Alex come and give us massages. We loved having the dogs Luna and Cinta come and greet us each day. Patsy we can’t thank you enough for all your help and advice, such personal touches makes you and Bart the best hosts, we hope to see you again in the future, love from the Harris and Gates families

We were on a futball tournament in area and a group came together to share space. The place is being well undersold. It is an amazing space that my family is thinking about making a must do on any Spanish trip in the future. Comfortable rooms, the great open spaces,A/C worked well, a rooftop with views as magical as any Master landscape painting. We were there right when the lemon and orange trees were ripening and we could just pick them right off the tree eat them or juice them so we had the most amazing fresh orange possible every morning. But the most amazing part was the caretaker. Maria was there. She afforded to cook food which at first we hesitated not to be a bother but we said yes in the end and we were so glad that we did She made the most amazing paella. The fact that we didn’t have to run around and worry about food and it just served us at the time we requested waking up to breakfast every morning, ready at the table at extremely reasonable prices Rent the space!!

Our experience in the house has been really good. The hosts were very kind and helpful at all times, which made us feel very comfortable. The house is very large, beautiful and perfect for large groups. It is very well equipped, with all kinds of services and a very complete kitchen, which makes the stay comfortable and easy to enjoy. It was a pleasure to be able to spend a few days there. Thank you for everything!

The house is beautiful, very large, best of all is that each room has its own bathroom and with air conditioning. Everything is super clean. The pool is great and very clean. It's been a perfect stay. Gema attended us very kindly, and was always in communication with us.

Very peaceful location, surrounded by olive trees and amazing views of mountains and hills. Communication with Andrew was quick and easy. The stay was well worth it!

We spent almost three weeks at Casa Arco Iris with the whole family, and it was fantastic! The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views. It's surrounded by mountains and beautiful greenery — you can even find figs and lemons growing in the garden! The photos don't fully capture the atmosphere of the place. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable, and decorated in a beautiful style. It's really well-equipped, so you don't need to worry about the little everyday things. Walter and Suzanne were perfect hosts — friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. They gave off great vibes and shared some amazing recommendations of places worth visiting. The pool was an absolute highlight — we spent countless hours relaxing in the perfectly warm water, soaking in the nearby landscapes. Would love to come back! PS. Place is remote, so car is a necessity: ~10 min to the nearest shop.

Beautiful, well-equipped villa. Very nice location that deserves (dirt path), very quiet ( no passage), a crazy view of the valley of olive trees. We enjoyed the pool, welcome by the hot days of August and the very nice summer kitchen for cooking and lunch in the shade . 2 beautiful bedrooms with private bathroom in the main space, a room downstairs also with a private bathroom ideal for the teenager who accompanied us. We did not have to turn on the air conditioning because the air circulating at night ( 900 m altitude) ventilated the rooms sufficiently. I recommend this rental!

We had a fantastic holiday and Simone’s villa was amazing. Such a relaxing and chilled location, quiet surroundings. The villa is beautifully decorated and we particularly loved the outdoor lounge/kitchen area. We would love to stay again and will recommend Simone’s villa to anyone looking for a peaceful Spanish holiday. Simone was really helpful with any questions we had and Loli was really helpful too. Jennifer's Villa is a fantastic property. Having stayed in private European villas for the past 15 Summers, this one was up there in terms of location and facilities. We like isolation on our holidays and the Villa was indeed far from any crowds, no neighbours overlooking and 15min drive to the nearest small town of Alora - a lovely place for a day out wandering and for tapas or dining as a family in the evening. The Villa itself was extremely well appointed - great sized pool, good sized bedrooms, a really well stocked kitchen with all the kit you could need. As well as a great welcome pack of food and drink, the kitchen was well stocked with things such as herbs/spices, cleaning products, dishwasher and washing liquids which was a lovely bonus. Jennifer was on hand to answer any of our questions as and when, without being intrusive. Overall, it was a very relaxing 2 weeks with fabulous views in a fabulous villa.

When we arrived, we all discovered the house breathlessly! How beautiful it was what the surroundings were beautifully high on the mountain, which was really no problem for us. It was a bit exciting to drive up the first time we thought we might not have the right path but upon arrival we had already forgotten that! And it gets used to it too! The first days enjoyed the lovely swimming pool. The days after that made beautiful excursions in the area. Nerja, Mijas, Malaga made a nice bike ride and Marbella immersed us in the rich life! We would like to thank Christa & Antoine very much for their kindness and for letting us be in their beautiful home!!

Karen and Paul were excellent hosts! Their house was truly spectacular with the stunning views and amazing pool. There isnt a nearby house/neighbour for miles which really adds to the privacy. The Aircon broke in a few of the rooms and Karen was really responsive and sent out an engineer to come consult within a day. Would highly recommend staying here and we may be back again very soon.
