Great place to stay! I would recommend it for its price point, location and nice host. Pros: - The host, Samuel, was extremely responsive and friendly. He offered lots of recommendations. - They proactively offered early check in. - Location is conveniently on the “tourist street” near the public boat docks, so it’s easy to get around. - Spacious living room. One of the rooms is also very spacious with modern AC. Cons: - Had water issues for about 90 minutes but Samuel resolved it quickly - Location means that it can be loud at night - Difficult to control shower temperature (there’s only cold, lukewarm and very hot)

I have never stayed on this side of the lake, but I have always wanted to. This place is a jewel of a property. I had an incredible visit. Service and communication is top-notch and it is quiet. I have been coming to Guatemala for 15 years and feel that I am an authority on these matters. Their dogs are very well behaved and quiet. the neighbors have no dogs or roosters and no early morning boats to wake you up. Being way off the road there are no motos, chicken buses or Tuk Tuks either. In the day, there can be some jet skiing or other private boats and helicopters, but they pass by fast enough. I believe their plan is to eventually have a restaurant, but it is worth noting that you will need to carry your food in on a 15 minute walk so come prepared for that. Very limited dining options in town. Water crystal clear and great for swimming. I’d give 6 stars out of 5 if that was an option. Will be returning. Easily the quietest and most peaceful place on the lake I have stayed.

Un lugar excelente… las personas que nos recibieron fueron muy amables, tuvimos un pequeño problema fuimos a comprar a las tiendas cercanas para cocinar algo de cenar y nos vendieron vencido todo pero las personas que nos recibieron en el Airbnb nos ayudaron mucho y nos regalaron de su comida son unas personas muy nobles y de buen corazón nos sentimos como en casa … como recomendación para los que van deben tener cuidado con las curvas

Todo bien con nuestra estancia y buena comunicación con la Host. Algo que no tiene que ver con el alojamiento pero que considero importante mencionar, es que mucha gente local llega a lavar ropa y bañarse con jabón, todo el día, en la parte del lago que da al alojamiento. El agua está muy sucia y no se puede nadar en esa parte del lago (triste la contaminación). A tomar en cuenta si lo que quieren es disfrutar nadando en el lago.

El alojamiento es muy bonito, tranquilo y con una vista preciosa. El acceso al lago increíble. Dentro del alojamiento muchas amenidades: peliculas, juegos de pelota, kayacs. El guardian muy amable en todo momento. Seguro volveremos.

Fernando’s place is truly special. It’s tucked away from the tourist areas, offering peace, privacy, and sweeping views that are even better in person. The home itself is stunning—clean, beautifully maintained, and full of character. You can tell how much care has gone into every detail, from the architecture to the landscaping. The garden, in particular, feels like a quiet sanctuary. Fernando is a wonderful host—warm, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. He’s created a space that reflects who he is: kind, intentional, and welcoming. This isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to slow down and appreciate your surroundings. I left feeling grounded and grateful to have experienced it.

Our stay was incredible. I took my entire family Of 16+…. The views are breathtaking, with so many fun activities without even leaving the house. The hospitality was also a great bonus! Pedro, the house guardian is very attentive. Highly recommend booking Juliana for your breakfast needs, she was also great! 😊 Carlos, is great as far as communication goes, very patient and friendly. We all gave this place a 10/10 We’ll definitely be back soon! Ps…there are some massive stairs down to the pool/ lake. The walk down is easy but the walk up is some work! Be ready for some good cardio

Fernando es un excelente anfitrión y muy amable, nos explicó a detalle todas las actividades que podíamos hacer. Recomiendo el lugar para esos días tranquilos en el lago lejos de la ciudad, claro que volvería.

Great place! A little bit away from the town-so getting a tuk tuk can be a little challenging but not too hard. Place was clean and unique! Luis was great at communicating!!

Un lugar mágico, linda vista, Jardines en perfecto estado y hermosos, acceso a playa privada al lago donde pudimos nadar, Vilma y Arnoldo súper atentos y muy serviciales, excelente atención y una casa muy grande y hermosa con todo lo necesario para disfrutar. gracias

Increíble lugar, las fotos del anuncio son hermosas pero en persona superó las expectativas. La casa muy amplia, con muchos ambientes para que, aunque hayan muchas personas, cada quien puede tener su espacio.Tiene todo lo necesario. El jardín hermoso así como la salida al lago. Muy cerca de Santiago que también la calle principal muy bonita. Don Eduardo muy amable nos apoyó muchísimo. Seguramente volveremos, muchas gracias por todo.

Muy hermoso lugar, tranquilo, Selvin es la persona que está a cargo súper agradable y servicial. El lugar muy limpio. Quede enamorada del lugar.

Único sitio en el lago. No hay nada parecido, ni esas vistas ni acceso directo al lago x muelle privado. Las cabañas agua caliente, linternas, cocina, todo limpio y nuevo. El mejor sitio sin duda, y llevo tiempo recorriendo el lago.

Un lugar ideal para salir en pareja o amigos, muy buenas instalaciones las vistas y el muelle privado es lo mejor.
