Fantastic accommodation, something you should have experienced at least once! My friend and I spent two nights at the property and enjoyed it very much. We were warmly welcomed with a sweet Balinese snack and welcome drink and felt very comfortable. Thank you!

We had an incredible stay and will definitely be back. Made was so welcoming and professional - he also assisted with ordering dinner to our villa from a nearby restaurant which had the best food ever! Definitely a must stay, awesome view hidden in the jungle.

This super villa gave us a great experience! The value for money is perfect and the rooms are great. There was good contact and all questions were answered right away. Also, breakfast was arranged which I did not know about so this was more positive. Quiet and close to the beach location.

What can you say about this place?? An absolute delight!! We were lucky enough to have 5 nights and it was a real highlight for us and a beautiful place to make memories. The house itself is quite remarkable. The detail and natural flow make it so serene and calming to be in and you can tell it was built with care and love. Nyoman was kind enough to send pictures of the build and explained how they used only local trades to do the work which was important to them, and as a result you can feel the community within. Some people may not be fussed either way but for us it really added to experience. It’s: situated a perfect 5min drive out of Ubud and the village was the perfect antidote to the hectic pace of town. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance and everything you need if you want to stay local. Nyoman was so generous and kind with our kids and genuinely wanted us to experience his community which was awesome. A beautiful man! Hopefully we’re back soon. Thank you!?

Overall a very nice and private place. It’s a cool setup with indoor bedroom and outdoor living area and bathroom. The Host is very communicative and polite. The only thing to us was the private pool and bathtub, which is great to have, however the rice farmer next door can see everything in the garden and was around a lot as well.

Very nice accomodation with 2 cute waterfalls nearby. You can order food by messenger from restaurants since it is a little bit remote.

The house itself is beautiful—spacious, well-designed, and the pool was a fantastic bonus. We really enjoyed the space overall. One downside was that the shared living room is in a separate building, and with only one key, it made things tricky when different people wanted to use it. The area to the right felt safe and walkable, but to the left, we didn’t feel as comfortable exploring, so we stuck to one side. The staff were lovely—friendly, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. The chef/housekeeper was also very kind and clearly meant well, but she was a bit too involved for us. She often asked where we were going, who we were with, and when she could come back. While it may be cultural, we had booked the place for privacy, so it didn’t quite suit our needs. There were only three of us, so the key situation for the bedrooms worked fine, but if two people were sharing a room, one key might not be ideal. This is a truly special place we’ll never forget. We’ve traveled a lot, but never stayed in such a unique home. It’s not about traditional comfort — it’s about the atmosphere of total silence, nature, and solitude. The house is set deep in the rice fields and jungle, with no one around — only the sounds of nature. Nights can feel a bit scary, but mornings are pure bliss. The pool is filled with natural spring water — no chemicals, just cold, clean freshness. We spent the whole day swimming, even though we usually avoid hotel pools. The architecture of the house is incredible — it makes you feel deeply connected to nature and yourself. And a special thank you to the host — so kind and welcoming. He helped us light a fire and set up a cozy BBQ evening. We’ll remember this experience for a long time.

What a magnificent place! From the welcome juice and fresh fruit plate on arrival to the pristine temple grounds this place could not get any better! Anselmus and his team are excellent hosts! Fast at responding to messages and respecting privacy at the villa! The pictures do not do this place any justice! You do have creepy crawlers etc around the bathroom but that’s to be expected when you’re in the jungle! The whole area is area is full of traditional Balinese culture! From the sacred pools just a short walk away to the temple right above the very private villa! It is very isolated and not close to amenities for convenience but if peace and tranquility is your vibe then this is the place for you! Anselmus and his team cook some very tasty meals with prior arrangement! Overall our experience here was above and beyond our expectations! A very unforgettable stay and hopefully make it back some day soon!

The place is very beautiful and tranquil. We had fun exploring Sidemen! We had a lot of questions and requests and Ketut made sure we had everything we asked for. Amazing experience sleeping in the jungle, would definitely recommend!

Villa Idanna in the rural village of Sidemen is a pure slice of Bali paradise. The property is beautiful, thoughtfully laid out, clean and with every comfort you could want. The beauty of the villa marries seamlessly with the stunning natural surrounds, views of Sidemen and Mt Agung. Nengah, Wayan and team create a calm, kind and ultra relaxed atmosphere, seamlessly catering to every need. Breakfast and dinner, so fresh and delicious, most days we couldn’t eat lunch as we were too full. The chef very kindly catered for our daughter who struggles a little with unfamiliar foods (as she is autistic) and prepared a version of the meal without sauces etc. Freshly brewed coffee in the mornings and for afternoon tea usually with a tasty Balinese treat. The villa is very well positioned with Laksmi silver making class, and a couple of wurangs within easy walking distance. During our stay we enjoyed a wonderful balance of activity and relaxation. Villa Idanna is truly special, we will be back.

This place was on my bucket list for so long, and when I finally reached it, I found it amazing. When you build hype for something for a long time, it often does not live up to it, but this place was even better than I had hoped, better than the photos. When you look at the rice fields from the porch or any of the upper floors, you feel peace and calm. The best part is that even though it is surrounded by rice fields and the structure is designed to have you live in nature, there were minimal bugs because of how the lights are placed and how the structure is created. Truly amazing. And the host and house staff are very polite, friendly, and easy to approach.

The first time the house positioning may be difficult to find, after getting out of the car, you need to walk in, the space is very private, located close to the mountain, people who are afraid of small animals need to consider, it is not suitable for one person, because the night is very quiet, as if the whole valley is the house... There are many spiders, there is no dry area, and you need to take care of them, if you don't mind the insects to pursue the ultimate quiet, highly recommended.

We absolutely loved the stay here. The place looks stunning and the view from there is breathtaking. It was little further from Ubud center than we thought, but it was also a plus to enjoy extra scooter rides while enjoying the surroundings. Host was amazing, would recommend this place.

This is the best homeowners I've ever encountered in all of my travels and they have made our trip to Rottweiler so memorable.Before we arrived at Rottweiler, the homeowner's sister would ask thoughtfully what time we arrived and they would have thoughtfully helped us with our luggage and shared a different drink with us once we got there.The house owner's sister is very nice and temperamental, she and her husband are very approachable and the music playing is also very peaceful.They were willing to get up very early to drop us off at the pier when we heard we were going to chase the dolphins very early.We are very, very grateful to them for their care and help, they look after us just like our dad and mom.The cabin was so cozy and clean, the little garden was nice and neat, it was so lovely playing music, cute dogs, kitties, and the birds, everything was so nice.Before we left, we took a photo with the homeowner to document our wonderful encounter.I love Rottweinas, I love this little garden, I love two house owners, I hope they can be seen by more good friends and look forward to seeing us again in the near future.
