The cabin is centrally located as a starting point to several popular tourist attractions; Bondhusvatnet, Trolltunga and much more.

The nearest museum is Kolbeinstveit museum which is 3 minutes (1.4 km) drive from the cabin. It is 9 minutes (8.3 km) drive to the nearest fjord to fish in the sea.
