Fantastic property. Even better than photos. The pool and outside area was amazing. Every amenity you could think of was there. Added touch of a Christmas tree and a present under it for our the little girl in our group. Would highly recommend.

Amazing place. Beautiful inside and out (pool, patio dining, garden), modern, and immaculate. Everything was high quality from five star bedding to the well equipped kitchen. Hostess Jules was very responsive and friendly…The property sits in a nice neighborhood high above Christchurch, and our favorite part was on the other side (a short drive) - Taylor’s Mistake Beach and the world class walking trail above and past it. I don’t normally write reviews, but this place was really nice.

Rebecca and Pete are absolute amazing hosts. The house is perfect with everything you need, lots of private outdoor area, huge deck and a hot tub. Very kid friendly with a sandpit, trampoline and toys. We felt like home!

What a beautiful home in a unique location. Our three generations gathered from three countries for a lovely 5 days together in Christchurch. The views from all levels of this home are over the top. With high end cookware, two dishwashers and (my personal favorite and usual airbnb pet peeve) sharp knives, we grilled and gathered for “dinners in” every night instead of going out. Great access to governors bay pier and coffee/pizza just a short walk away. Loved this place so much and would return in a heartbeat.

The Bond estate is a beautiful property grey for family groups with an excellent playground, great heated pool and spa, and plenty of space for everyone.

Sharon is an incredible host. She made us feel like apart of her family. The home was warm, spacious and equipt with everything we might need as a large family. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are prestine, and there is plenty of space inside and out. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time, and when we are back in Rolleston we will be booking again. Thank you so much Sharon.

I can't thank Louise enough for our wonderful little homely and private cottage in the autumn trees, showering yellow leaves over the garden. Rose Cottage is just pure magic at this time of the year, especially if you are a keen photographer as l am: While it is close to the airport it isn't in the flight path so there's not that much aircraft noise, and it is close to supermarket, coffee shops, etc. Louise and Matthew are wonderful hosts and I highly recommend their property to anyone visiting Christchurch and wanting something just a slightly bit different :)

We have stayed at 6 different locations around Canterbury in the last year. This one was the best so far - great place to stay, warm and beautifully decorated. Amazing view with great hosts. Cheers Tony and Justine

Our family of 5, all adults, stayed at Steven & Amanda's place for 6 nights, and we loved it! Very comfortable and clean, lots of amenities, some super-clear instructions on how things work in the house, and easily contactable hosts. If you're looking for a warm and cosy house with stunning views overlooking Diamond Harbour, this is the place to be! The spa was a perfect bonus to our relaxing weekend getaway. Kelsey and Guillaume are incredibly responsive and helpful hosts who have organized this house with great thought and full of amenities. Their instruction manual and guide gave us lots of ideas on what to do in the area. The driveway is a bit steep, but plenty of parking on the street also! Highly recommend - would definitely return!

We had a wonderful time at Jennifer’s place while we were in town to go to Mapu test kitchen. The view is spectacular and the house is really lovely and we felt right at home. There’s lots of lovely options for eating and drinking in Lyttelton but be prepared for the steep walk back up the hill - good for burning off those extra calories! Jennifer was a great host and super responsive.

Wonderful, lovely decor. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen was really nice. We had a relaxing stay.

We stayed for 3 nights at Karina’s Airbnb and loved our stay. The home was perfect for us, as we were traveling with a 1-year-old — it was completely kid-friendly, with lots of toys, a big bathtub, and plenty of space indoors and outdoors for little ones to move around! The added bonus was a ride-in push bike, which was a real hit. There was a highchair and cot provided, and two playgrounds nearby — both easy walking distance and perfect for keeping our little one busy. The house was well appointed, with two large lounges. We only used one, as there was plenty of space for three adults and a toddler in the main room. The kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to prepare dinner each night, and the huge dining table was super handy. The bedrooms had comfy beds and nice linens, and the bathrooms were spacious with good showers. We will definitely be back in the future and highly recommend this place to any families traveling with kids — it is a great setup for little ones!

Fantastic property & location in Christchurch! Susie’s place was warm & welcoming after a rainy driving day. The furnishings, bedding and amenities created a cozy comfortable environment…we felt right at home. Highly recommend!

There were three of us staying for three nights. Wish we would have stayed longer. This is a fabulous house, full stop. If it's available for the days that work for your travel schedule, do yourself a favor and book it. The views are great from the decks, and it's such a peaceful place. It's an easy drive into Christchurch and convenient for exploring nearby areas like Sumner and Akaroa. The house was new, large, tastefully decorated, and super clean. Communications with Viv were excellent and replies were prompt. Check-in and check-out were super easy too. This house is a 10/10.

We had a love family holiday. The home was a good base for a range of activities. We took the ferry and visited the market. We did some fishing at the wharf, and visited Orton Bradley Park. The home was warm, very clean, with everything you need for your stay. Thank you for having us.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jess’s place. She was very proactive, friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Loved the way how she has decorated the house. Every corner was a depiction of her creativity. Definitely recommend her stay if you’re planning to stay in that area. 10/10

Brendon is a great communicator and helpful. The view is nice overlooking the city, though patio was off limits to guests. Pleasant place and would stay again for a quick trip.
