KAIWA NO SATO This old house is an indigo mansion built in the first year of the Bunsei era (1804) during the heyday of indigo. The main house and the sleeping area (a barn where indigo was stored) have been demolished due to aging, but the historic living room and garden have been preserved to allow guests to experience a little bit of that time, and it is used as a farmhouse inn. In the old days, "Indigofera" grew on the fertile land of the Yoshino River basin in Tokushima Prefecture, bringing great wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa Province). Ancient documents on indigo, including cultural properties, are also available for viewing. My room is a 7-minute walk from JR Namba Station and a 10-minute walk from Namba Subway Station, making it very convenient for getting around. 1 stop to Shinsaibashi Station, 1 stop to Nihonbashi Station, 3 stops to Tennoji Station (Abeno Harukasu). Namba and Shinsaibashi are one of Osaka's famous tourist destinations. I'm happy to have an open-air bath on the rooftop in the middle of the city. You can enjoy a luxurious time that you can't easily have in the city. Free parking is also available. You can use the entire three-story house, so you can rest assured about coronavirus countermeasures without contact with other guests. There are many restaurants, convenience stores, and coin parking lots in the neighborhood, all within a few minutes walk. Easy access to the most famous places in Osaka, such as Tsutenkaku, Universal Studios Japan, Osaka Castle, and Kansai Airport. Staying here will make sightseeing in Osaka more enjoyable. It is located in a quiet and local neighborhood; a perfect location for those who wants to base in Osaka and visit Kyoto, Nara and Kobe. Also, it is a space for those who appreciates art, interior design and architectures. It's right next to Kuromon Market. There are many convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and drugstores in the area. You can also travel to Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto, and Nara without wasting time.
