Quaint house with nice views and very well equipped. Place was really clean and tidy. Nice deck area to chill and have fresh air. Everything is thoughtfully placed and convenient.

This was an excellent stay and a great retreat away from urban life. The Airbnb was very clean, spacious and provided many amenities. The beds were like clouds and the views from the bedroom were like looking at a landscape painting of Mt. Fuji. The location was quite convenient! The street to the Airbnb is right off the main road that circles round the lake. At the entrance to the street is the bus stop for the Fujikyu loop bus. Across the street is a pedestrian access to the lake and where the swans frequent. Many tourists stop by there to take photos of the beautiful scenery and swans. The Airbnb is secluded away from this busy lake road, so it was still a very peaceful and tranquil stay. The host was incredibly hospitable, had great communication and was very friendly and fun to talk. We will definitely be coming back here again!

The host was so lovely and gracious from the moment we booked to the very end of our stay. She is an amazing host and the house was simply the best air bnb we have stayed in Japan hands down. I’m truly grateful that during my trip to Shimoda, I had the chance to stay at such a wonderful guesthouse. The host was incredibly warm and attentive. Even though our schedules didn’t quite align, they remained tirelessly helpful through messages and made sure everything went smoothly. The house itself is even more beautiful than the photos—filled with the natural fragrance of cypress wood, surrounded by a peaceful and serene environment. All the amenities and toiletries provided were top-notch, and the space was impressively spacious: two bedrooms, each with two double beds, a large open-plan living and dining area, and even a private open-air onsen bath. I highly recommend staying here for 2–3 nights if you’re visiting Shimoda. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and fully enjoy the charm of this lovely town—and the warmth of a truly hospitable host.

This was the best air bnb we've ever stayed in. Not only in Japan, but anywhere in the world. Completely remodeled, spacious, great location, but the absolute best part is the Host. Shoko goes way above and beyond. She surprised us with local treats several times and was extremely fast when responding to any question. She was also extremely proactive and gave us answers to questions before we even asked. She truly cares about her guests. She helped figure out my bus route to Kyoto and even took us to the bus station. This is as good an air bnb experience can be. Wish we had stayed longer.

Super clean and modern house with an unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji. Has all the amenities you would need for your stay. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Taka-san's lovely house. It feels like home and the room is incredibly clean and convenient. Taka-san provides very detailed information about the sites around and also the shopping and dining places. We love Ito and the Futo area so much! Highly recommended to everyone who plans to go there. If you have kids, this place would be just perfect. Plus, the view is great! (a very friendly resident told us to be careful with the monkeys, very lovely neighborhood)And we met a wild monkey!

You won’t find a better place to stay at in Kawaguchiko. Dai was super helpful and check in was very easy. Great location and the booking included the use of their bikes so getting around was simple. My only regret is that I didn’t stay long enough. 10/10 would stay again!

i came here for our 3rd anniversary trip with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved this place!! we highly recommend it for its awesome location right next to a 7/11 for late night munchies and lots of other good bakeries and restaurants. it’s also a super short walk to the train station and it’s a quick trip to central tokyo via the express train. the place was spotless and beautiful. one of my favorite spots is in that little nook above the entrance that i’ll miss so much along with the massive windows. the hosts are super sweet and kind and made our stay till the very end extremely easy and enjoyable. my most memorable stay so far!

Una casa muy bonita en un lugar precioso. Las mañanas nos despertaba el canto de los pájaros. La casa esta limpia, impecable, esta alejada de las estaciones centrales pero el lugar es tranquilo y se disfruta descansando. Cada media hora pasa BUS y la parada esta a solo 3 min.Tuvimos una estancia perfecta en esta casa. Recomiendo 100% este alojamiento. Muchas gracias!

Is nice to have small family to stay in and new experiences to have train station next to this unit. My son very enjoyed to stay in and able to watch the train from the window pass by. Easy to locate this unit, free 1parking lot if self drive. Convenient to access Hakone either by driving or by train.

Hiroyuki San was the best host we’ve had so far. Responsive , super helpful and proactive about everything He provided everything for us before we even ask. The apartment was equipped with all the amenities listed and more. He was always for responsive and ready to help with any of our needs It’s nowhere near the “center” of Tokyo so keep that in mind. If you want a stay near Yokohama though it’s the best you can find. Thank you Hiroyuki San for having us

I really enjoyed staying here and had amazing service by Yumiko for all our questions and was very helpful with the friend I stayed with. One of my favorite parts of was the authentic feeling of the room and how spacious it was. Would definitely stay here again.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Ichiro, le logement était facile à trouver, à peine 10 minutes à pied depuis la gare de Shizuoka, l’escalier était un peu vétuste pour monter nos 3 grosse valises mais ça a été. Le logement en lui-même est très beau, très grand, nous avons très bien dormi, c’était calme la nuit, attention cependant à la marche dans la cuisine, j’ai trébuché plusieurs fois. La douche était également agréable et grande ! Des hôtes communicatifs et proactifs je recommande à 100% 😊

Lovely place. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Host was flexible with my check in time as I wasn’t sure what time I arrived til I got on the train. As it was raining on the day I left, host was kind enough to offer to drive me to train station as well as work out the train timetable for me. I couldn’t have asked for a lovelier experience.

My stay was very nice and cozy though the condo building felt quiet. Rei has great taste in design and furnishing to make her guests feel at home. Recommend to drive here so that you could explore around freely.

Apartment is better than the pictures. Location is great. Host is responsive. Coastal vibes. Me and my husband enjoyed our stay here. Would love be back!

以前も同じ建物内のお部屋を利用させていただいたことがありましたので、今回も安心して宿泊ができました。 お部屋に着くとなんと素敵なBGMまでがかかっていて、おもてなしの気持ちを強く感じました。 Toshiさんとのコミュニケーションはとてもスムーズ、そして鎌倉に関する情報、おすすめのハイキングコースなど、とても細かく親切に説明がサイトに載っており、感動しました。 特に、洗剤や調味料の一つ一つまで何がお部屋に置いてあるのかがサイトに掲載されていたのにはビックリしました。 ゲストが鎌倉を余すことなく楽しめるように、ハイキング用に使えるリュックや携帯用の椅子などまで用意があり、本当にゲストに鎌倉を楽しんでほしいという気持ちを持たれていることがよく伝わりました。お部屋の設備もなんとウォーターサーバーや、refaのシャワーヘッド、ヘアアイロンまで用意されていて、ゲストへの心配りを隅々にまで感じましたし、お部屋から見えるビーチの景色は最高でした。 今まで外国も含めたくさんのエアビーのお部屋を利用しましたが、ここまでホスピタリティに溢れているお部屋はなく、誰が来ても必ず満足できる宿だと思います。 今まで宿泊してきた数あるお部屋の中で、断トツに1番素晴らしい設備の整ったお部屋で、また、是非利用させていただきたいです。 おかげさまで素晴らしい時間を過ごせました、ありがとうございました。

This place was great! Right next to the beach, nice views, and in a really cute, peaceful area. It’s close to a train station, so wasn’t hard to get our luggage to and the place was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again!
