It is an old private house that initially opened as an accommodation facility for almost 100% inbound. Renovation work is being carried out on the semi-open-air bath inside the warehouse and the water area. ■ Healing moss garden ■ There are three moss gardens: the front garden, the middle garden, and the back garden, and well water flows everywhere, flowing between the hand basin, the watering hole, the deer repellent, the stepping stones, and the pot pond, where koi, medaka, tanago, and crayfish live, and a biotope space visited by wild birds. ■ Check-in lounge (cafe/bar space), souvenir corner ■ You can drink authentic cocktails on the first floor of the annex (main building). The entire space of about 100 ㎡ is completely private and limited to one group per day, so you can relax and unwind in a large space as your own private space. There are two spacious bedrooms and a dining space in a large Japanese-style room. You can enjoy the Japanese countryside comfortably and at your own pace. We can also accommodate Japanese, English, and French. Please let me know if you would like to know more about the charm of Tsuwano and sightseeing. On the days when the host's cafe is open, you can also interact with other customers and enjoy tea and sweets. You can spend time in a spacious and quiet room, enjoy interacting with people and tourists in Tsuwano, or help coordinate a wonderful trip.

Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.
