Holiday rentals with breakfast in Susquehanna Township

Marlin's house was absolutely beautiful and The cleanliness was pristine. there were complementary items to use such as granola bars, shampoos and conditioners, lotions, even down to makeup removal pads. Everything was well thought out. The only issue that we had was the fridge wasn't cooling enough but he was very proactive in getting a repairman out within a couple of hours to take care of the problem. I am not complaining just using that as an example of how helpful the host was. This was our first family trip to Amish country and we wanted to get the best from our experience. This house was great to stay at since it is right in the heart of Amish country and surrounded by Amish farms. Plus, it is very convenient being only 5 to 10 minutes away from all the local attractions. We truly enjoyed our stay and loved being able to sit out on the back patio that is screened in to enjoy coffee in the mornings. We will definitely keep this house in mind as our first choice for future visits

KinderHawk Schoolhouse was absolutely perfect. My husband and I were looking for a peaceful place to unwind from our busy lives. This place delivered. The schoolhouse itself is quaint and charming. It has everything and more. The welcome basket was very appreciated. The surroundings are beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the patio watching the farm animals at the farm across the street and bird watching. We enjoyed the outside fire pit and also the indoor fireplace on the cool evenings. We hiked Hawk mountain which is 2 miles up the road. It has spectacular views. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. I wish we stayed longer. I can’t say enough good things about it.

My family and I loved staying at Sharon’s place - the beds are comfortable and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay while visiting the area with 2 kids. The Speckled Hen across the street was fantastic - great food, very convenient and we especially loved the private playground around the back. I didn’t love how busy the road was, but overall it was a pretty minor flaw. We would absolutely stay here again.

Jonas and Elizabeth’s house was perfect for our stay. We booked last minute and were, instructions were clear and helpful. The house itself was clean, cozy and inviting and incredibly well stocked for whatever you would need on a trip. We loved the quotes and special touches to the decor, our two boys especially loved playing hide and seek in the house. You can tell they put a lot of thought and care into the house. The outside was perfect for our dog to get his exercise and for us to spend time in the gazebo. Close enough to all the attractions we wanted to do but still felt like you were out of the city. Would love to stay again.

Staying at the guest house at Long Acres Alpaca Farm was such a peaceful and unique experience! The setting is serene, surrounded by rolling hills and, of course, the charming alpacas that made the whole stay extra special. The guest house itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed-comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen with some fruit and snacks, and lovely touches that made it feel like home. We also appreciated the opportunity to see and interact with the alpacas. Sarah was warm, welcoming, and happy to share about the farm and the animals, which added a personal and memorable touch to our stay. Highly recommend this stay if you’re looking for a peaceful countryside retreat with a little something extra.

April was absolutely lovely!! She went above and beyond to make our son’s wedding weekend absolutely perfect!! She listened to our needs and met every one of them! The house was perfect and extremely clean! We would recommend April and her home to anyone visiting the Lancaster area. Thank you so much, April!!

The Cozy House on James is a gem in downtown Lancaster. Kristin is also a responsive and accommodating host. The home is well appointed and as described. There are great restaurants that are within walking distance and we didn’t have any issues with parking on James Street. We’ll be looking to stay here on our next trip to Lancaster.

Great place for my husband and I while we visited our son in State College. Despite cooler temps this space was warm and cozy and met our needs for the weekend.

Barbara was a great host. The apartment was clean and well appointed. Great older apartment with unique rooms. Loved the feel!! We did get to use it but a cute back yard to hang out in.

We stayed there for only one night, but we liked that it was clean and cozy, and the host was friendly and helpful. It's a good value for the money and the surroundings are beautiful.

This is a great place to relax, both indoors and outside. Very roomy with comfortable beds and furniture. Great outdoor sitting area. Cats that greet you as you arrive. And an incredibly friendly deer who is so cute stays near the property. Good restaurants are a short drive away.

My family loved our stay. Elvin and Dorothy provided milk, butter, bread, fresh strawberries and preserves which made the perfect breakfast for our trip. The space was just right for my family of 3. My 6 year old daughter loved seeing the animals and playing with the cats and dog. Thank you so much. I would highly recommended staying here.

The Penn’s suite was adorable! We were there for spring Carlisle and it was the perfect stay. Lots of restaurants and businesses to walk to after the show! The traffic was a little nosy in the evening and early morning but nothing turning up the fan noise couldn’t help! Other than that it was an amazing stay! Kathy up front was so nice.

Peaceful and beautiful gardens with lots of birds singing in the trees, delicious breakfast with eggs, chicken pieces, lots of toppings and orange juice - coffee if you wanted it. Karl was friendly and had two little dogs who’d love your attention. Very comfy bed, with a home decorated with lots of ornate paintings and fantastic decor …I’d stay again for sure but next time for longer…

Nothing but great vibes at Sara's place! This gem is beautiful and such a peaceful place to stay. The home was very clean, decorated beautifully, and had comfortable accomodations. The breakfast items was a nice touch! I also loved how close it was to the Sight and Sound Theater. I would definitely stay here again :)

Sarah and Neil were great hosts! The room was cozy, clean, and spacious. The bathroom was very nice and I appreciated the little coffee bar that was set up in the room too. I had a perfect stay!

It was a very quaint room very spacious actually felt bigger than the photos. It was extremely beautiful and the scenery is to die for. Heidi is an excellent host and great to talk to, I will come here again in the future.

We had a group staying for a month which was something he was not used to, but Steve was very accommodating. It was an amazing place to stay and is close to many restaurants, grocery stores, a gym (which was very accommodating by offering a one-month membership), and it was easy to get around the area. It is a phenomenal house, and the cat was great company greeting us when we came home or got up. It was like a home away from home having everything we needed including a washer and dryer. I would highly recommend this property and would absolutely look forward to staying there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Bob and Pam’s charming home in Littlestown, just a short drive from Gettysburg. I was traveling with my parents, who recently celebrated their 60th anniversary as well, which made connecting with Bob and Pam—married for over 60 years themselves—even more special. The house is a beautifully maintained older home, full of charm and very comfortable. The beds were cozy, and each morning started with a delicious breakfast prepared by Bob. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with both Bob and Pam—they were warm, welcoming, and full of great stories and recommendations. The location is ideal for touring the Gettysburg Battlefields, and their local dining and activity suggestions made our trip even better. This was more than just a place to stay—it was a memorable, heartwarming experience. We highly recommend it! Thank you again for a wonderful weekend!
