We were grateful to stay in this gem! We were even allowed to check in earlier which made it so much easier for us all, because we were really tired of arriving. The place was beautiful, very clean, comfortable and super divided. The terrace is an absolute highlight and the size for Tokyo conditions is simply a dream. We were very happy to stay in a quiet sweet area while getting to the central places quickly. Thank you for the sweet welcome gifts and cold drinks. The host always inquired about us upon arrival and made us feel welcome. We would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back !! <3

The host has good taste and lots of nice utensils and decoration in the room.The room is not big, but functional and clean.The house is very well located, it is quiet and life is very convenient.The surroundings are also good, both stations are very close.It was cozy and nice to have at home.

The room was exactly as described, the host super nice and flexible. The room is above a really nice bar, and surprisingly there is no noise at all! However, the room is pretty far from the center, around 45 mins from Shinjuku. So it depends on what you're looking for!

Had a very nice stay. The apartment is smart and practically furnished, with an eye for detail. Everything was clearly explained in English, from appliances to amenities, which immediately familiarized it. The bed was lovely, the space bright and quiet, and the combination washer/dryer worked great — definitely convenient for a longer stay. The location is perfect: 3 min walk from Makuhari Station, in a quiet neighborhood but with shops and coffee within walking distance. Yuki was super friendly, quick to respond and provided clear directions. You immediately feel welcome. 🙏🏼 Recommended for those who want to travel east via Makuhari to Tokyo, Chiba or more. It was a perfect base for me to get everywhere by train from there.

good place to stay. close to the station. the room is small and not enough to open suitcase, but it is also part of Japanese style.

Communication with Lei was excellent, quick to respond and personal. The place is small (one big room with a sliding door to separate the space)- for us (3 adults) the space was sufficient.( 4 people with lots of luggage might struggle.) The place is tastefully done up in Japanese style and was squeaky clean. It is very central, yet quiet and easy to get to the underground. We would recommend Lei's place for 2-3 people :)

You can’t beat this location if you want to stay in Shinjuku. Golden Gai is practically your backyard and you’re right in the heart of many amazing restaurants and shops. Yasuhiko has amazing communication- quick to respond and always offering help for recommendations in the area. Couldn’t recommend this spot more!

We loved our two stays at Hide and Ayas . The flat had everything we needed and was pretty spacious by Tokyo standards. It was so well located in our favourite neighbourhood of Koenji . It was super easy to get to the station and so many great places to eat and vintage shopping galore . We would not hesitate to stay again !

The place is super clean and put together. We really enjoyed the stay. The place was comfy and had a really nice interior design. The room on floor level was a cute touch to experience traditional Japanese style. Then going upstairs, there were 2 beds for more room and we liked having the ac upstairs since it was a bit toasty without it. It was a fun place to stay, I would stay here again!

Clean, quiet, and very well appointed home. It was obvious the host took great care to try and think of every detail to make this a comfortable stay. He was exceptionally responsive and also helped me with some of my trip plans when I asked. It was greatly appreciated! It is not close to the center of the city, which wasn’t always convenient but I would not have wanted to stay in the heart of bustling Shibuya, so it really comes down to preference.

Aiko was such a wonderful host! We had mini snacks waiting for us upon arrival & she made sure to answer all of our questions quickly. Keep in mind that the airbnb is about 30-40 minutes away from Shibuya and Shinjuku but it’s easy to get there because there’s a train station about 4 mins from the AirBnB! We also recommend having breakfast at Blau Espresso. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the AirBnB but so delicious!

Rie’s apartment is at a very golden location, with only 5 min walk to a metro station. And the station has very convenient elevators just at the street corner from the apartment. We had a lovely 3-day stay there and enjoyed very much. Thanks Rie for the warm host! Recommend.

We loved our stay. Great communication and comfortable space. The location was perfect for us for exploring. Go to Manson Rage for ramen and the little yakitori place right there on the corner. So good. We’d definitely stay here again. Thank you for being a great host!

A neat little gem with everything you need for your trip in Tokyo. If you like Roppongi neighborhood and the size of your party is between 1-2 +/- children , this is the perfect place to stay! A cozy patio was a plus to dine outside. The world traveler host is very responsive and accommodated all our needs. He even personally came over to help us fix the issues. Highly recommended!

Everything was just as described, the place was nicely located away from the hustle but still convenient to get around to explore Tokyo and other areas. The apartment was comfortable for 2 people and equipped with everything you need. Hirohiko and his wife were friendly and helpful and always responded promptly to all our messages. They even gave us a little gift when we left. Highly recommended, thank you! 🙏

The host was very quick to respond. The location was perfect and quiet. Everything was close. I cant say enough good things.

Our host was very nice and responsive to our questions.The instructions and house rules sent were easy to understand. The apartment was clean but smaller than we expected, it is just nice for 2/3 people. The neighbourhood is quiet but it has a lot of stores such as supermarket, drug store, convenience stores and laundromat (there’s a small laundromat near the supermarket ) within a short walking distance. The nearest train station (Keisei-Koiwa station) is a short walk away and you can walk about 20 minutes to Koiwa station on the Chuo-Sobu line. From Keisei-Koiwa station, you can take to Narita Airport directly without transfers).

We really enjoyed our stay here. Home was clean, very cozy. lots to do around

Very spacious, close to the subway station, very convenient.The house is fully equipped, the toiletries are also fully equipped, the landlord is very nice, and you can store your luggage.

The apartment is very comfortable, clean, with a view of Tokyo's Sky tower, modern and great for a good stay, close to the subway, which connects you very well with the whole city. The host is very attentive to all needs. I highly recommend this airbnb.

If you’re looking for a quiet place in Shinjuku to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, this is your spot! My husband and I enjoyed the proximity of Shunki’s place to the Shin-Okubo station but also appreciated the tucked away feeling after a long day of walking through Tokyo. As are most rooms in Tokyo proper, it is small, but it worked for the two of us. We were able to navigate the space and still feel comfortable. I highly recommend this AirBnB! ありがとうございます for your hospitality!

Again we had a brilliant time at Akari san's apartment this year, Staying Akari san's place is one of highlight of our trip. The reason for this is not only the flat's location, size, layout and ease of use, I always feel at home. The rooms had been renovated and I could feel the story behind Akari's new design in many places. The linen textured walls and the kintsugi (gold-plated wood joinery) that connects the before and after renovation made it clear how much Akari cares about this room and the guests who stay here. The linen was clean and comfortable, and most importantly, every time she remembered that my daughter and I wanted to sleep in separate areas, and was thoughtful enough to set up a comfortable bed in the living room for us. The only drawback is that this room is too popular and it is difficult to book the expected number of days. This can't be helped, but we hope to be able to stay a little longer next year than we did this year.
