Stephane and Sylvie were amazing hosts. They gave us great local recommendations, organised a personal winery tour for us and booked in a massage. The location is beautiful, peaceful setting and the pool was fantastic. We booked to have breakfast one morning - it was stunning. Beautiful presentation and lovely food. We highly recommend staying here - truley relaxing.

We stayed at Frédéric's for 3 nights. Very nice apartment, tastefully decorated and very clean. The terrace is really the highlight of this apartment. It is also very well located and the waterfront is very quickly accessible on foot.

We spent a little over a week at Laurie-Anne's place. The apartment was really nice, private and quiet and the view from the balcony to the pine trees a dream! We will be happy to come back!

I recommend this accommodation we can't find better in situation we are facing the sea and even if the weather is not nice we can enjoy the view behind the large bays, the house is very well equipped, house ideal for gathering with family or friends, bike path right in front, easy to park out of season. Very responsive and available host.

Beautiful Villa in a nice peaceful location

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Large and beautiful Charentaise house with swimming pool and barbecue with many advantages, games room, 5 spacious bedrooms, pleasant living room for 12 people. Secure outdoor parking for 3 vehicles.

The house was superb - spacious, smart and very well-equipped in every respect. It has a lovely pool, pool house and poolside lounging area, which our children and grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed. Its location in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer is great, with one beach (Plage du Platin) within easy walking distance and others (Grand Coté, Bureau and Nauzan) just a little further away. There is a good boulangerie (which serves pizzas in the evening) and a seafood supplier just 5 minutes walk away. We would be very happy to stay with Catherine again and thoroughly recommend the house.

Quiet stay in the countryside with background music, river singing. Great for stays in a large tribe. The house is spacious, very well equipped, moreover with taste. Nothing is missing and Tony and his wife are very friendly, available and attentive. Canoes allow a safe walk to discover the environment for all ages.

We had a great weekend of climbing. Hélène is a very welcoming and considerate host. It allowed us to arrive earlier. The house is very good: bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, there is everything you need. The garden is very nice. There is everything you need nearby, 10 minutes by car (beach, supermarket...). Wonderful stay at Antoine's. The house is superb, at least as much as in the photos, quiet behind the harbor in a cul-de-sac, while being a 5-minute walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. The courtyard / terrace is a real plus, spacious, pleasant and well vegetated, as well as the winery to store things and leave more places in the house. Comfortable bedding, super well-equipped kitchen, everything is there! Lots of things to do in the Côtinière or not far away, you don't get bored, with or without children. Antoine was very responsive to the info, and so was Laurent who welcomed us. In short, great value for money!

The apartment is in a very good location right in front of the beach and very close to the port and the city center. You can walk everywhere. It is spacious, very well arranged and equipped. Perfect for 6 people without being on top of each other. The views from all the rooms are breathtaking from morning to night. Really a nice place.

Parking space. Sea view and sea 100 m away. Valerie's kindness and her little attention. 5 min walk to the beautiful beach of Pontaillac, its restaurants and shops. Conclusion: it was perfect, you can go there with your eyes closed.
