This ground floor studio is located in a converted warehouse within the city walls. It was converted in 2018 so the interior is in great order and the exterior looks onto water views. With a 5 minute walk to the main historic area/main shopping area and a 2 minute walk to major supermarkets, the studio is well connected. Wifi included. An oasis of calm

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Julie’s place! The house is truly a peaceful oasis tucked away in a quiet residential area perfect for a relaxing trip. It’s about a 20–25 minute walk to the city centre, which we enjoyed though public transport was a bit infrequent. Still, it’s manageable if you plan your day ahead. The room and washroom was spotless and well set up with everything one might need, including a hairdryer and really thoughtful touches that showed how much Julie cares about her guests 😊 What truly made the stay special was Julie herself. She was warm, friendly and went out of her way to share tips, food spots, and even made a list of must-visit places in York. Her lovely and friendly Labrador Hector was a bonus always happy to greet us! 🐶❤️ Thanks again, Julie, for making our trip so comfortable and memorable!❤️

Rosie and Pablo are such lovely host, we felt very comfortable during our stay. Rosie was very accommodating with early check-in and the place is just like description a cost get away. Pablo is such a sweet boy and so well behaved be ready for some kisses from him.

I can really recommend staying with Naomi, especially if you’re a female solo traveller. Had a lovely stay. The flat is very nice, clean und cozy. Naomi is the perfect host. I had my space but she was always open for a nice chat. 5 ⭐️ Stay. The house is a 50 min walk away from town center or a 20 min bus ride.

We stayed 2 nights and everything was impeccable. Very easy and flexible check in, we were able to leave our bags before the scheduled time (also for check out). Easy access to the city centre. The room is dreamy, just like the pictures. The bathroom was super clean. The kitchen was a bit messy but it was okay for us, it is still their private house, so it was perfectly understandable. We were able to borrow some milk for our coffees, which was kindly left in the room for us to use.

The house is cozy and comfortable. Inara is helpful and welcoming, make me feel like home. The 2 labradors are lovely and friendly too! About 15 mins walk to York city centre and 5 mins to coop supermarket.

Lovely large room in York

A charming room in a great location! This stay was only a 20 minute walk to the old city walls and was right around the corner from the horse racing track. Both Daniel and Mij were very friendly and made my partner and I feel welcome in their home. Would certainly recommend staying here!
