Anne's Fairytale Cottage feels very homey, it is well decorated with personable items, it's cozy, has a well equipped kitchen, with laundry, and had everything we needed to enjoy a home cooked meal. Anne was super helpful on arrival, and responded really quick in case of the occasional question. Most of all, Anne was really friendly, it was nice to meet her.

River Road Retreat was a delight to stay at, and Peter and Rebecca lovely hosts. The cottage is beautiful, clean and in a gorgeous setting surrounded by fields, and with stunning views to the hills in the distance. We loved the welcome bottle of wine and yummy nibbles, as well as the delicious breakfast served every morning. The air is fresh and clean, the water absolutely pure, and after three days we’ve returned home refreshed and reenergised. Wonderful!! Big thanks from us!!!

I felt so welcomed into Jennifer’s home, perfect home stay. The peaceful surroundings were amazing, highly recommend the outdoor bath. I would recommend this home stay.

What a magical place! You guys should totally update the photos, because it's 1000 times better than expected! The lofts and ladders are fun, the hot outdoor bath is devine and the kids toy box kept our son well entertained! Thanks, will be recommending it!

We felt very much at home in the Blue Cottage - loved the wood interior and it was a very comfortable stay. Would certainly be keen to stay again.

We had a beautiful second stay at the sandcastle. Loved the peaceful setting, birds and animals on the property. Pizza night was fabulous and Steve was incredibly gracious with our two boys and even took them blueberry picking. Thank you for taking extra care and checking in to ensure our stay was so special. Our boys said this was their favorite place we’ve stayed yet!

Wonderful place to stay in Picton, lovely fire during winter. Dog friendly, & a private beach. Would definitely stay again, very peaceful & everything there you needed.

We had a great stay in the Paris suite. Roger was a terrific host. The location was ideal & we loved feeding the sheep. The house is comfy & unique. Thank you again!

Kate gave very clear instructions so we were able to arrive safely and were able to find the place easily as we had a long drive and arrived quite late. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming despite our late arrival the night before. Additional plus were the awesome welcome given to us by their pet dogs, Chloe and Amber!

This is a very special place, I wish I could have stayed longer. The house is incredibly cosy and atmospheric, and we felt so spoilt with the great breakfast. This is a true getaway whilst everything you'd like to do and see in the region is close by. Highly recommended!

Lovely place to stay and very handy to all the restaurants and ferry terminals. Spacious rooms with an amazingly big spa bath, will definitely stay here again.

We love staying at Kōtuku even when it’s raining! Which it did for most of our recent visit. Bellbirds, tūīs, piwakwaka all keeping us company and even little blue penguins too - they’re a bit noisy at night though!

Absolutely loved the stay here on the water! Although the sun was hiding for the few days we were in town, we were able to enjoy the cottage and get some much needed R&R 😊 Elspeth was there to greet us and was a wonderful host. A+++++

Beautiful place with a lovely garden and pond out the back. Deborah was there to welcome us and kindly gave the kids some toys to play with which were greatly appreciated! Lovely comfortable house, would highly recommend as a base to explore Abel Tasman and beyond.

Bay Cottage is a lovely place to stay. Spacious with everything one needs for a few days. Christine was a friendly host who came over to meet us at the cottage which is removed from the house. This makes for a quiet and secluded stay where you can appreciate the bird song. While the location is rural ( in a citrus orchard) it was a short drive to Takaka and we were able to dine well there. An enjoyable stay.

The location is ideal for anyone wishing to explore the Golden Bay Area, especially Farewell Spit and the dramatic west coast beaches. The accommodation itself is self contained with generous sized rooms and located in a very quiet area. The hosts were friendly and on hand to offer assistance and guidance if needed. They even provided us with a bowl of fresh fruit and vegetables from their organic farm. Would certainly stay there again.

South St. is a lovely place to stay in Nelson, close to the CBD, quiet, friendly and absolutely charming. The Sojourn cottage is as advertised and more, my stay couldn't have been better. And what can I say about Linda ? The best host ever is an understatement! I look forward to staying here on future visits to Nelson.

such a lovely place to stay, we loved the friendly sheep, cicadas, bellbirds and farm animals. comfy beds, beautiful bathroom, great deck and furniture. A few more small bowls perhaps for nibbly bits, and the small fridge was a bit of a challenge for a 5 day stay.
