Holiday rentals with beach access in Tasmania

We truly enjoyed our stay in Hobart at Janina’s and Gary’s place. They are very welcoming and ready to share their knowledge and tips to visiting Hobart, and Tasmania. The extra touches of toasting bread, jam and butter, and tea and coffee were appreciated for breakfast. Close by is an IGA for groceries and a Porter’s for wine and beer. Nearby beaches were just right for relaxing. Salamanca Market is about a 10-minute drive. Can’t go wrong booking this location. It is a wonderful pied à terre in Hobart!

Alexandras was simply wonderful. Great attention to detail. Everything supplied that you could ever need. Hosts very warm and friendly. Quiet scenic location, near to shops and harbour.

Absolutely stunning place and location! Nel and Lorne were amazing hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They had thought of all the little things to make us feel welcome and it truly felt like we were staying with friends…like a home away from home. We arrived to the smell of fresh bread baking, and found a loaf baking in the bread oven. Nel had even left us a jar of her homemade raspberry jam, which was to die for! We fell asleep every night to the sound of the waves which was absolutely magical and so peaceful. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Would 100% recommend and would love to come back sometime!

Richard's place was fantastic! Great location, only a few minutes drive into the restaurants and supermarkets of Sandy Bay, and only 10 minutes into Hobart city. The home was beautifully presented and incredibly warm, comfortable and cosy, with all amenities and appliances one could need for a great stay. Whenever we messaged Richard, he or his property manager always responded very quickly, were extremely helpful, considerate and pleasant to deal with. We'd definitely stay here again!

Great place for a short stay. It is private, clean and comfortable. Within walking distance of food options and close to Freycinet National Park.

This is a delightful little place and was everything i needed for a few days to relax. Peaceful environment and quite luxurious

We had an amazing stay at Ken’s place! Was a pleasure waking up and going to sleep with that view. Breathtaking! Fantastic home with everything you need. Would absolutely stay again. Didn’t want to leave the view!

Perfection. Attention to detail- even in the kitchen…we had all the dishes and utensils necessary to cook like a chef at the house! There are even pantry items there- so check on that before running to the grocery store in town because we bought doubles in some things. I’m sure the selections in the pantry will vary. In addition, there may be garden produce ready for the picking!! Make sure and check with the host first- that will be seasonal, I’m sure. Beds are comfortable, showers have hot water, tub with jets is helpful after a day of sight-seeing. As owner notes, it isn’t hot, just warm…but it was still a good experience. Decks overlook bay/ocean- you get to witness the changing colors of the Hazards throughout the day standing over the bay. And if you are wondering- we saw amazing Aurora lights out over the water! Windows everywhere! Just incredible’views- there are no words. And you boy minutes from Swansea. Host has a book with restaurant suggestions. Grocery.❤️

Lovely place. Roomy, relaxed feel. All the mod cons. And the view, of course. Heated bathroom floor and spa was the winner for me. Wood was supplied for our BBQs. Fresh fish is available at a new butcher up the road in Triabunna, who gets it from the fishing boats coming into the docks there each morning. We BBQd fish caught only hours earlier. Was so nice to be able to have a dog there on such a big fenced block, so we could relax while she she wandered about.

We had a lovely stay at Spring Beach. The hosts were very helpful, the house was beautiful and in an excellent location. We would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved it here! Natalie was extremely friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any queries. The stay itself was beautiful! The gardens/grounds and views out over the river were marvellous!! Would highly recommend staying here!

What a wonderful place to stay both the property and location. Mary is a superb host to boot. The place literally has everything you need, is super cosy and has the most epic views. Mary is an absolute legend, helpful and quick to respond. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is stunning and particularly breathtaking at sunrise. We were grateful for the ample heating options during our winter visit - we kept cosy between the fireplace, main heating unit and bedroom heaters. It was wonderful to arrive to the fireplace already prepared for our stay. I think it's worth noting that the bathrooms have been renovated since the original listing pictures were uploaded - this was a pleasant surprise! This is a special place and perfect for a little getaway.

Awesome beach shack. Pics don’t quite do it justice. Nice sun room with view, well appointed and decorated throughout. Close as it gets to the Oyster Shack, perfect for a short stay in the quiet Dolphin Sands area.

We really enjoyed our stay at James place. The place was very clean and comfortable and nice to relax after all day exploring Hobart. We were also able to check in early which is a bonus! James have been great! Highly recommend this place

Roxy and Ambre have done a beautiful job with this unit. You can hear the waves crashing and see the beach from the apartment. Beautifully clean and bed was really comfortable. You are close to many yummy restaurants and a few with delicious vegan GF options. If you like op shopping like me you'll find them in walking distance to the apartment. We stayed for 6 days and the neighbours were lovely saying hi to our son each day. The beach is also a kids paradise with a swing on the sand and an area the community have set up with toys. Lovely little touches in the apartment with a rain jacket and umbrellas. We just loved it and will definitely be back. Thanks for making our holiday so relaxing.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very welcoming and clean. Comfortable beds and sitting area. It was well equipped. The stairs may be an issue for some, although there was a 1 bedroom unit down stairs with easy access that one of our party used. The location was ideal for us and the view pleasant.

Wonderful stay in a wonderful area. Well thought out space with all you need for comfortable stay in Tassie! Very spacious, convenient kitchen and sufficient heating. It was a pleasure staying here. Will be back for sure!

An amazing location and spot, the hosts were attentive and the room was spotless and adorably homely! Not to mention the amazing views, sad we didn’t book for longer! Definitely will be back next time.

Julie’s cosy apartment was just perfect for a Tassie winter break. Beautiful linen, soft,comfortable lounges and a warm fireplace made everything so inviting. I would highly recommend staying here. Thankyou for having us . Di and Pete

The landlord is a very warm and kind person, and both my boyfriend and I really like them! The house is also very new, making it a comfortable place to stay. Plus, it’s close to the beach, making it a great choice for accommodation in Tasmania!
