Lovely peaceful comfortable place to stay with the bonus of a wood fire and a sauna to enjoy. Has great views with a private rocky cove directly at the bottom of the garden and an easy coastal walk to the beautiful redbill beach and diamond island point. All in all really hard leave.

Amazing property and gardens, with beautiful accommodation and thoughtful touches. Kids loved the gardens and animals. Wife loved the fresh eggs, honey and veggies straight from the patch!

Such a lovely warm and peaceful place to stay and wind down in at the end of a long day. Karen was very welcoming and helpful, setting up the fire for us to return to each night. Very lovely cottage with a real homely feel, and everything you need.

The pictures and description don’t do this place justice! This place was simply perfect. An idyllic haven, the freshest air, skies full of stars, and the most clean, cozy and toasty cottage you could ever imagine. Alison was the most wonderful host - she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted and needed, and she brought us to meet and feed all her lovely pet sheep, cows and dog. We had an amazing time here, thank you Alison!

As a visitor from Canada, I felt right at home at this beautiful property that offered the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and genuine Aussie hospitality. The lifestyle here felt familiar, yet uniquely special. Waking up to morning visits from wallabies right outside our window was such a magical touch — a true Australian experience! We also enjoyed watching the birds and friendly farm animals, which made each day feel peaceful and connected to nature. The cabin was warm and cozy, especially during the winter season, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. It really had that homey feel, which meant so much to me and my child during a challenging time for our family. Location-wise, everything was close and convenient. We had easy access to the beach and a lovely playground, which made for perfect morning and afternoon walks. It’s a great spot for families, and I felt very safe and relaxed the entire time. A quaint farmhouse style cottage very comfortable and stocked with everything you need, Linda even provided games and toys for children. Very peaceful and homely and is highly recommended for a short or long stay. Our only regret was that our stay was too short.

Lovely stay at Shane and Monika's place. we quickly warmed up out of the winter Tassie cold by the log fire, which was set up ready for us to light on arrival. In the morning we were gifted some food for the sheep and alpaca, and we're followed around by Munchkin the sheep for the rest of our stay. Monika was very kind and welcoming, even gifting us wine, bread, coffee and fruit. Couldn't have found a more peaceful and relaxing place to stay - thank you!

Quiet spot with amazing expansive windows overlooking a serene forest and the water. Generous space, comfy queen bed, kitchen with everything you need (note no dishwasher and only a small fridge), plenty of couches, rustic wood paneling (note the host built the place himself with local timber!), great sound system with quality speakers. Very private space (though note you are on the same property as the owners house), there are orchards and greenhouses to stroll, a well formed track about 100m takes you down to the water and private jetty where you can borrow a kayak or forage for oysters or just enjoy the serenity. A walking path a couple of KMS long has been cut into the nearby forest - divine for a morning walk. Note there are no shops particularly close so pack whatever you need for the whole stay and settle in!! Note that it was quite cold while we were there and the log heater struggled to keep the place really warm, just warm enough (high roof didn't help)

We had a lovely stay at the pea pod. Checkin was super easy and we were warmly greeted by Bryan. The heating worked a treat for complete comfortability. The view from the bod was breathtaking. We saw many beautiful wildlife upon arrival and during our stay. I would recommend an afternoon walk just before sunset, many beautiful creatures/beautiful scenery to see. The pod is very conveniently close Hobart, so made it easy to explore Tas. On my next trip I hope to return. Thank you very much both of you. Take care! :)

We loved our stay at Klara’s hut on her property and surrounding farm. It has all the home comforts you need for a cosy getaway and is well located to get to Cradle Mountain national park and other great spots in the north of Tasmania. The welcome package she provided was incredibly tasty (and generous!). Ending the day with a fire and a glass of wine and beautiful surroundings was exactly what we were after! Highly recommend booking this spot.

A great lodging for the young children to experience farm stay and Angela was so kind to prepare some bread, jam and eggs from her farm. Although there were some minor hiccups, Angela tried her best to assist us by fixing these issues. She was also very kind to walk us around her beautiful farm and my boys simply loved her farm animals so much🥰 thank you, Angela!

What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! Absolutely worth a weekend trip as the sights are to die for, Karen our host was very proactive with information and tips about the town, and the facilities are all nice and warm for winter. The spot is as much as a tourist adventure as the things to do in town. Not much else to say except book here! Cannot recommend more.

Wonderful quiet location away from busy roads that suited our trip perfectly. Beautifully presented unit, with great bathroom and excellent hot water pressure. Comfy warm bed too. Host gave us complete privacy, but was there when needed and very friendly. Will definitely be back.

The Crooked Chimney Cottage was a delight. From the outside it looks like an old, charming cottage. Once inside it feels like a luxurious and functioning film set with glorious views to the mountains. We greatly enjoyed the stunning sunset. The sheep a magnificent plus (at least our 2 doggies thought so, curiously waiting to catch a glimpse of them). A great stopover if you are on your way from Devonport to Hobart. We highly recommend it.

Our time at Stoney Creek Farm Stay was short but oh so sweet. From the most beautiful cabin, with the most perfectly curated decor, cozy and oh so comfortable sleep spaces, to the darling, cheeky goats who greeted us upon arrival, this stunning and peaceful home away from home was utter perfection for myself and my children. The views from the cabin are breathtaking. The calming babble of the creek was so lovely. I do so hope that our first stay won't be our last.

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The space was spotless, beautifully set up, and had everything we needed for an amazing and comfortable stay. We truly felt right at home. The attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed, from the cozy touches to the thoughtful amenities. Nikki was incredibly kind, super responsive, and made us feel very welcome. Million Dollar views on the hilltop in Penguin, the house is a treasure trove of music history. Gerard has thought of everything, including breakfast supplies with fresh fruits and yoghurt. Thankyou for a beautiful stay in a lovely little quaint town. We will be back again :) Regards Mandy

Three Paddocks and a Hill was as serene and peaceful as the photos suggested. We arrived in the dark with our two small children and were welcomed by a beautiful warm fire in a cosy home, which was so appreciated. The property had everything we needed and there was plenty to do in the home stay to just ‘be’ away from our busy lives. We loved the goats, and Emma and Leon were very responsive when one cheeky goat got their head stuck in the fence, causing our daughters to be quite concerned. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful and peaceful location. Location is remote but that what we are looking for! Nice and friendly cats which is great funz for the kid.

What a perfect location for anyone wanting to be totally immersed in nature, seclusion, privacy and very special sunrises over the water. The house had everything you'd need and especially cosy and comfortable beds. Would highly recommend this lovely home.

I can't say enough great things about Lynette and the beautiful home she has created! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable—exactly like the photos, if not better. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the well-stocked kitchen to the cozy linens and towels. The host was outstanding—quick to respond, super friendly, and clearly committed to making guests feel at home. They provided helpful local tips that made our trip even more special. The location was ideal—close to great restaurants, attractions, and easy transportation, but still peaceful and quiet at night. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier Airbnb experience. Truly felt like a home away from home!

The highlight of the stay was definitely the fresh hot bread and farm eggs that Sue had left for us in the morning! The bread was delicious and perfect with scrambled eggs. Thanks for the nice stay!
