Beachfront holiday rentals in Tavira

We had the best stay at Raquel's place in Pedras D'el Rei. The complex the apartment is on is ideal, with a lovely pool and shop and restaurant all on site. The staff at the complex are so helpful! The apartment is clean, bright and really tastefully decorated. The river and beach are stunning and so conveniently located - we felt very "in" the surrounding nature. It was also really easy to get around using uber, from the airport and to local spots like Tavira, if you are just staying for a short while and don't have a car! Raquel was the perfect host, very contactable and helpful. We loved it here and can't wait to be back.

Ana was very helpful when there was an issue with the wifi, very grateful. She was also very flexible with check in and check out since it was possible during the time I stayed there.. The apartment was very spacious and clean, comfortable to stay during the bad weather. Everything you need to cook was available with a lovely welcome basket when I got in. Didn’t get to experience the balconies due to the poor weather but they were both very large and looked lovely. Comfortable bed, and quiet room. Overall great stay.

Beautiful, quiet location, with great views over the sea. Lots of outdoor space at the front, side and back of the villa. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. There is a friendly (and very good) seafood restaurant five minutes walk away, and a cycle track that passes nearby and takes you all the way to Tavira. Loads of great beaches nearby, in both directions, but you do need a car to get to them. Nice hiking if you head up to the hills. The smell of blossom everywhere in April is incredible. Definitely recommend.

Teresa's place is a very cozy apartment in the heart of a holiday home complex. It is clean and tastefully decorated, you really feel right at home. Teresa was quick to respond to any questions. The apartment really has everything you could need. From the more than adequately equipped kitchen, to helpful beach accessories to games and sand toys....It's clean and we got fresh towels and linens at half-time even for 14 days stay! The holiday complex is very well maintained, large but still familiar and equipped with everything you need. Pool, restaurants, small supermarket, laundromat... and a reception that can be reached 24/7. The best part of the place is the beautiful swimming beach! There are restaurants, toilets and rentable loungers as well as areas for free loungers. It is reached on foot or with an old stroll! (free). The train was a highlight for our 2 year old and us every day

We a great time in Santa Luzia and really enjoyed staying in Anne’s apartment. The location is fantastic, right next to the harbour and easy walking to a number of restaurants, bars, cafes and the local mini supermarkets. The balcony has great views over the harbour and estuary, the tide coming in and out constantly changes the scenery. Take a pair of binoculars to spot much of the local bird life that descends when the tide goes out. The balcony is south facing and is a sun trap with a table and four chairs, so nice place for breakfast and lunch, or a beer or two! There is also a large outdoor corner sofa that is very comfortable and is good for sunbathing. We stayed in late April and on the whole the weather was perfect. You can catch a bus more or less right out the front door to Tavira and visit the beach by small train to Barril beach or catch the water taxi. All in all we really enjoyed our time in Santa Luzia.

Very nice and cozy place. Very good communication from Catia on the accomodation process a lot of useful tips what to do around the place. Few minutes walking distance from the ferry to the Fuseta beach, restaurants, shops and supermarket close to the place. Spacious terrace for a nice breakfast, dinner or a night sky and stars watching. Air condition in the bedrooms very useful to cool the bedrooms. Great experience overall.

It was wonderful from start to finish. It was exactly what it said it would be. The house was clean , well presented with all that you need in terms of kitchen utensils and crockery . The roof terrace was amazing with a covered seating area, large table and bbq. The local area was super easy to navigate, all on the flat and the square with an abundance and variety of restaurants was a hop, skip and a jump from the front door but far enough away that it wasn’t noisy. A local shop had all you needed and there was a fish and vegetable market a short walk away. The bikes, beach chairs and parasol were a great addition. Will be heading back next year.

Very good hosting by Karine and Cocochou who are very available but know how to be discreet. The accommodation and the environment are great. We had a lovely few days in Casa amor

We booked 10 nights in this accommodation 2 people ..everything was exactly as described location was perfect . All local restaurant's and beach a stones throw away from apartment 5 minute walk to bus stop which brings you to local train station or same bus to tavira centre ..we loved this apartment and would highly recommend a booking 10/10 Would definitely go back and use this accommodation again it was perfect .

A beautiful villa with a huge pool surrounded by beautiful countryside. The kids loved exploring & the hosts were very responsive with a few issues which arose. We would love to return!

Paulo’s place was perfect for us. The apartment is well equipped and has a fantastic view of the Ria. The pictures don’t do the apartment full justice and it is very modern and bright and welcoming. Being able to use the Golden Club pool was a great advantage with a 12 year old, as was being able to use the free boat over to the beach. Cabanas itself is a short walk which was pleasant on the evening. We would definitely book again - thank you for a great stay.

Our stay was fantastic, and we would definitely recommend this place! The apartment was spotless and well-maintained, with a high-quality feel. We loved the spacious balcony/terrace and the comfortable beds. What really made the difference, though, was our host – incredibly kind, thoughtful, and always available when needed. We felt very welcome and truly well taken care of. The location was also convenient, with quick access to supermarkets and restaurants. Overall, a wonderful experience!

A Perfect Stay at Casa Clara! Our stay at Casa Clara in Santa Luiza was nothing short of magical. The house itself is stunning—elegantly designed, spotlessly clean, and filled with natural light. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, blending modern comfort with authentic Portuguese charm. The outdoor space was a dream: peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing mornings. We especially loved the proximity to the charming village of Santa Luiza, which feels like a hidden gem. There are good restaurants, supermarket/bakery & pharmacy 2 mins walk from the house. Check in/out was seamless & communication with Patricia was excellent. We felt truly at home and didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend Casa Clara to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway in the Algarve.

We stayed in this pretty townhouse with our 2 children. Ideal for a family in the center of Santa Luzia. You can park easily near the property. Location is close to Tavira and amenities or activities. The shops in the city are good for a short trip. The house is perfectly equipped and the terrace is a very nice plus! It feels like home. We'll be back.

The apartment is part of a larger building with multiple apartments. It is located on a corner. It's quiet in this building. There is an air conditioning that is also heated if you have to , which was nice because it unfortunately rained a lot. The apartment is located directly on the nature reserve, within walking distance of the boulevard, shops, restaurants and bars. We had a great time.

Very warm, nice welcome from Leonie and Gert upon arrival. You feel immediately at home in the apartment. Well equipped and very clean. The underground parking space and the provision of chairs and umbrella for the beach are great. You always have the option to write a message with any questions and get a quick response. We highly recommend Leonie and Gert as hosts.

Thiis was an ideal location for us. So close to the boat to the beach, restaurants, several supermarkets and to the lovely off the beaten track little places that the locals go to. We loved Tania's apartment and hope to return. It was so cosy and comfortable and felt very homely, just as the pictures show, not like some of the other tourist accommodations we have stayed in, in the past. The apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The white bed linen was a real treat!! We slept amazingly well as it was very peaceful and quiet throughout the night. A great find and Tania was a lovely host who was there in person to greet us.

Great value! The accommodation is really ideal for 2. Magnificent view of the sea and the Tavira canal. The terrace is very pleasant at the end of the day and sunset for an aperitif or dinner. Being able to enjoy the Golden Club, its swimming pool and free boat trips to the beach is a real plus. Keith was very good at advising on restaurants in Cabanas and very friendly✌🏻

We have been in this beautiful apartment in Jan and Feb and felt right at home there. It is very spacious and nicely decorated. Elisa was very friendly and proactive. It is very quiet during that time; most apartments are then not inhabited. The pool is too cold for swimming, but looks neat. Everything in the apartment was clean and fully furnished. In the village there are four restaurants, where you can eat well under €15. There is also a small supermarket within walking distance (max 10 min), where you can buy everything. 4 km away (car) is a large shopping complex with a grite supermarket. For excursions in the area, a car is recommended, although it is also very nice to travel cheaply with the diesel train (station in a 5-minute walk). All in all, we liked it very much in Conceicao. Repeatable!

Andre was so helpful and always so quick to reply to any questions. The apartment is truly wonderful and anything we needed, was taken care of. The views are spectacular and the area is so near wonderful restaurants and shops. AMAZING
