The Paya Paya Villa was the perfect accommodation for our adult family's annual holiday (four pairs of adults). Each couple had their own well appointed beautiful bedroom and ensuite giving them their own space within the Villa whilst the outside area and open living room allowed us all to come together for meals, card games, massages and drinks by the pool. The Villa is exactly as described and the images do not express the peaceful feel and generous proportions of the home. The location was central to a diverse range of restaurants (recommend Lilo Indonesian Comfort Food & the Italian Restaurant); medical/pharmacy; "corner" store; and walking/scooter distance from Seminyak shopping district, the beach and Potato Heads. The Villa staff, Arie, Made, Yulis, Made and Ketut allowed us to easily enjoy what Bali had to offer and made our stay so memorable. We cannot thank them enough for all they did for us. It was very difficult to leave such an incredible country and people.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. It’s perfectly located close to the center, yet peaceful and away from all the city noise. A couple of lovely cafés are just a short walk away. The house itself has a warm, welcoming vibe and is beautifully decorated with local art, everything feels carefully chosen and full of character. It truly felt like home. One of our favorite spots was the back terrace by the pool. We spent hours there, either chatting or simply watching dragonflies dance above the koi fish pond. It’s the kind of place that helps you slow down and reconnect with yourself.

Wow and Wow, This was absolutely one of the best places On Airbnb I have ever stayed. David was on point for everything we needed, he went above and beyond we were so thankful for David's help. I would recommend this place 10x times over. The pictures do not give it justice, it looks better in person. I will definitely stay here again if ever in Bali.

Everyone was so friendly, kind, and genuinely accommodating. Each morning, our breakfast wishes were remembered and prepared with care. Dinners (extra cost worth every cent) was made on request and always delivered perfectly – fresh, tasty, and with so much love. The service is beyond expectations, and the prices are fantastic for the comfort, attention, and warmth you receive. We honestly wanted to take the whole team home with us! Their hospitality created an experience we’ll never forget. Thank you, Gusti, Ayu, and the amazing staff – we’ll definitely be back! Yes the home is down a long narrow driveway, if you communicate often before arrival with Gusti he is readily available to take your luggage and you up the narrow drive in his car. Homestay with all the luxury of a hotel. We didn’t want to leave!!!

Very beautiful place in middle of nature, peaceful and relaxing.

Besides having the absolute best and most comfortable bed out of any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at, the place is so cute and cozy. The out door layout of the kitchen/patio makes the place feel really big. Walkable location to downtown Ubud, overall the place is perfect for long and short term stays. The hosts are also so kind and responsive, they brought me fresh fruit twice which was completely unexpected and appreciated . I would be back in a heart beat.

This bright, modern apartment was built in 2020. In a super good location in Seminyak, it’s still quite quiet but also within walking distance to many things. The bed was perhaps the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Wow! We slept like dead people, also because of the blackout curtains. Nice work! Shower was also great. Huge TV, huge bathtub outside with jets (although not enough hot water to fill it). Very friendly and responsive staff. Gym right below the unit, which is a nice touch. The one weird thing is that the bathroom door is glass, so there is limited privacy for anyone using it. This is not the “authentic” Bali experience but it is super comfortable and well priced. We could live here long term!

Wir reisen als kleine Familie mit 14 Monat altem Kind. Ambara und seine Familie sind sehr hilfsbereite und liebevolle Gastgeber. Unser Sohn bekam frisch gepflückte Bananen aus deren Anwesen, welches sehr sauber und gepflegt ist. im Garten ist speziel eine offene, überdachte Möglichkeit für Joga oder Meditation mit Blick über die wunderschönen ruhigen Reisfelder. kein Roller gehupe etc. lediglich angenehmes Vogelgezwitscher. Ambara bot sich gerne an gemeinsam mit uns Joga zu machen und uns zu unterrichten. das nahmen wir gerne an und haben es sehr genossen! Roller kann direkt von ihm gemietet werden. Für Fahrten steht er ebenso zur Verfügung. eine zum Zimmer zugehörige Küche für kleine Speißezubereitungen ist ebenso vorhanden, inklusive Kühlschrank. Der Blick vom Balkon führt über Reisfelder zu Palmen. wunderschön. Am Morgen wird man von der Sonne wach geküsst. Im Zimmer ist es jedoch Dank funktionierender Klimaanlage immer kühl. Ambara wohnt mit seiner Familie nicht direkt auf dem Anwesen steht jedoch jederzeit zur Verfügung und ist auch mehrfach am Tag vor Ort und ansprechbar. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft in jedem Fall weiter auch mit Kindern! vielen herzlichen Dank an die ganze Familie für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Perfect stopover after a late flight in to catch the ferry to the islands in the morning. Easy enough to find, and only a 15 minute walk to the turtle sanctuary.

Glad to find bali duta apartment from the list. Great location close to the airport and kuta beach, malls, restaurants, banks, pharmacies. The apartment itself clean and comfortable. Recommend !!

It’s more than just a place to stay, it’s a chance to learn about some phenomenal work in permaculture! Chakra is extremely knowledgeable and is keen on sharing with his guests about permaculture. This is a place you come to if you want to engage with locals, learn, and skip the luxury tourism.

5 couples. Superb time had by all. There was ample space indoors and out to keep everyone happy. The team was helpful, kind, always there in a quiet way, happy to book taxis, pick up groceries - they made our stay super special. The walking distance to the beach, restaurants and bars was a real plus - one of the best we have had in Seminyak. Cleanliness was excellent, with early morning relief as we found a perfectly clean house ready for the new day - even after a birthday celebration! Would recommend and stay here again. It's just amazing! This is the best trip I've ever had! The butler was very responsible and the food was delicious. The view from the room was just wonderful, with a black sand beach right at the door. At night, the sky was full of stars and the swimming pool was also very fun! If I have the chance, I will definitely recommend this house to my friends!

We stayed at Rogers for only a few days but admittedly we could have stayed longer. It is so peaceful in that area but you are close to plenty of restaurants and places to visit, so it makes it a great villa to retreat to. The villa is also huge, the rooms are a great size and the outdoor area was fantastic with the large pool and lounging area. We were with our two kids but this would be a great place for friends to visit or larger families. The staff were also super responsive to any questions we had and overall we would definitely come back.

Wow, wow and wow. We have been to Bali on numerous occasions, but Villa Kubu is the best we have stayed at. Our Villa was like a private resort with huge private pool set in beautiful gardens. Great Bedroom with amazing mosquito surround. Really loved the outdoor Shower. The Staff were friendly, helpful and happy and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect including catering for our ‘Coeliac’ meal requirements. Definitely going back to Villa Kubu next visit to Bali.

The villa was a quiet paradise tucked away form the hustle and bustle, but short distance to all cafes, bars and amazing food in the area. Our 2 yo lo loved the place as much as we did. Indah was very accommodating, and quick with their responses. They asked politely if we needed cleaning of the villa or just leave us to enjoy the quiet and privacy this place has to offer. We will strongly encourage to stay and enjoy the peace as well as the play.

We had an unforgettable two-week stay at this stunning villa! From the moment we arrived, Atik and Nengah greeted us with such warmth and care. The villa exceeded our expectations – a perfect blend of modern comfort and Balinese charm, with spacious rooms, a beautiful pool, and lush gardens that made for a peaceful retreat. Our hosts made the experience truly special, going above and beyond to ensure our family had everything we needed. From arranging airport transfers to providing excellent local tips, they dealt very swiftly with an aircon and a locked door issue resolving within hours. The location was perfect – a short drive to the beach, great restaurants, and shops, yet tucked away enough to enjoy the tranquility of Bali. The villa was very clean, with fresh linens and daily housekeeping. All our family left having had an amazing time. We highly recommend this villa to anyone seeking a family holiday in beautiful Bali!

This place is an attraction by its self. Totally worth visiting just to spend a few days relaxing in the enchanted places. Almost like the scene of a movie when you walk in down the foot bridge path and accross a valley of forest and water and find your self in a hidden gem. Some one should defnitly shoot a movie here ! Beautiful, quite and with an amazing host who treated us like family and offered all her help constantly. The room was spacious and private with a beautiful plunge pool with amazing views. There is a shuttle on sit to take you into ubud which is a short drive away. The road there and back is beautiful and runs through some beautiful villages. We had our motorcycle with us and had a safe place to park it when we weren’t using it. We used this home as a lunching base to explore all of bali and are sad to have not spent more time there. We will defnitly be back here again. Thank you for everything !
