What can you say about this place?? An absolute delight!! We were lucky enough to have 5 nights and it was a real highlight for us and a beautiful place to make memories. The house itself is quite remarkable. The detail and natural flow make it so serene and calming to be in and you can tell it was built with care and love. Nyoman was kind enough to send pictures of the build and explained how they used only local trades to do the work which was important to them, and as a result you can feel the community within. Some people may not be fussed either way but for us it really added to experience. It’s: situated a perfect 5min drive out of Ubud and the village was the perfect antidote to the hectic pace of town. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance and everything you need if you want to stay local. Nyoman was so generous and kind with our kids and genuinely wanted us to experience his community which was awesome. A beautiful man! Hopefully we’re back soon. Thank you!?

The accommodation took our breath away from the first moment. The architecture right on the jungle alone makes the accommodation unique and worth every cent. The villa staff lovingly took care of all our wishes. Communication via messenger service was smooth and courteous. A private driver who works for the villa showed us the surroundings and the sights in the Ubud area. Each goal can be freely planned. The accommodation can only be described as positive and will serve everyone as a great starting point for Ubud!

Communication with the accommodation was flawless. Transfer from the airport and to activities was also available. The furniture and furnishings were a bit outdated and worn. Due to the proximity to the boy and the street, it was sometimes a bit louder. Unfortunately, the supermarket could not be reached on foot. Nevertheless, it was a great stay with great communication and nice people.

The villa is beautiful to stay in. It had a very peaceful vibe, eye catching art and beautiful balinese furnishings, in amongst the rice fields. Very clean. A perfect spot to stay at, away from the hustle and bustle of what is Ubud is now. Agustin (house manager) and housekeeping staff were so attentive, helpful and friendly. They delivered some groceries (and beer!), organise drivers and bikes for us. Communication was no problem. They made our stay there so easy! At the street address there is no sign (that we could read anyway) to know that you are there. The house is hidden at the back in the fields so you need to follow the small path down, to the right, then up the 2nd to the left. Turn left at the path T intersection at the top. Though the lovely housekeeper ended up finding us and escorted us with our bags up to the villa. I loved watching the fieldman shoo gaggles of ducks into new paddocks. Beautiful sunrises 🥰

What an incredible stay. Great communication from the get go, very attentive and organised for us an evening massage. The accommodation is as stunning as the pictures make out. Over looking Ubud jungle making you feel at one with nature. Accompanied by the sound track of the smaller local waterfall and all jungle critters was an experience to remember. Everything was very clean and tidy , our host was incredibly welcoming and helped us arrange travel for the following morning. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to escape the busy streets and ‘want a ride’ chaos. To relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. Be advised however the track to the larger waterfall can be slippery, so sensible footwear to be advised or just take it slow - but a great view once you get there

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The host and the couple who manage it locally were truly amazing. Anytime I needed anything, they were there to help immediately! The Airbnb itself is an actual dream and George did an incredible job creating this place. I would stay here again and will be recommending to friends!

This was hands down one of the best accommodations I‘ve ever booked. As mentioned by others already this place is even more beautiful in real life. I couldn‘t get enough of sitting on the porch and looking into the rice fields. Interior also very full of taste. Staff was amazing. Highly recommend and will come back. What a beautiful place❤️

If you’re browsing Airbnbs before booking your Bali ticket—stop and buy that ticket now, making sure it matches this Airbnb’s availability. From the moment we arrived, Wayan and his team had thought of everything—from airport pickup to having coffee ready with one touch before breakfast. The view and peaceful location away from the crowds were incredibly calming. We mostly stayed in to enjoy the serenity, but Ubud center is just a 30–40 minute scooter ride away—and Wayan arranged a scooter for us in minutes. The massages were fantastic and far more affordable than spa prices, and we had them poolside at home. The team quietly checked in on us throughout the day. One night during a swim, they noticed the pool filter needed attention and handled it before we even asked. Our beer was always stocked as requested, and every meal was delicious. Huge thanks to Wayan and the team—you’re all treasures.

I had a fantastic stay at this villa! The place was clean and well-maintained, with a beautiful interior design that made us feel cozy. Location was perfect for us: close to great restaurants and local spots, but just far enough from the busy streets to stay peaceful and quiet. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout my stay, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

The host Kadek Yani’s villa was absolutely amazing. Such a peaceful location surrounded by rice fields with our own pool. His sister-in-law Putu Susie was the one who came by and cooked for us during breakfast and dinner. There were so many services they provided which made me and my mom feel right at home. If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful stay that’s out of the way from the busy night life then this is the place for you. Highly recommend this location!

Stunning villa!! Incredibly beautiful grounds, the jungle is like a movie, birds singing in the morning! We literally liked everything! Cozy bedrooms, comfortable large beds, very comfortable mattresses. There is a washing machine with a dryer, a full kitchen with a dishwasher – which is not often found in Bali. Everything is clean and cozy! The staff is very helpful, the girls helped us arrange and iron things. In the morning, we cooked a delicious floating breakfast, thank you Kadek again! And special thanks for the photos in the pool, it's a great pleasure to swim in the pool and the view of the canyon. The villa is so cozy and beautiful that you don't want to leave at all, we will come back here for a longer period of 100 percent! This is a rare case when the photos do not convey the beauty and scale of the villa! Thank you, we are going further north!

Very friendly and warm welcome upon our arrival. The villa is very clean, with linen that smells good and hygiene products available. It matches the photos. We particularly appreciated the kindness of the host: despite our very early departure in the morning, she insisted on coming to say goodbye. We also had a small problem with the taxi that dropped us off and they immediately helped us! Thanks so much for everything. A beautiful place that we would recommend without hesitation!

The place is a little secluded, but we loved the view. You could look directly at the rice fields and had a very quiet place. Since you were away from restaurants and Warung, we ordered something to eat, which also worked out great. It should also be noted that you can't be picked up there so spontaneously due to the location. We would come back and recommend this place.

An unforgettable experience! I stayed two nights at Magic Hills Bali, and each night in a different villa to experience both — and wow, both were absolutely magical in their own unique way! Everything was beautifully designed and felt like a dream come true. The peaceful atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the nature all around make this place something special. The owner is such a kind and genuine person — very welcoming and made sure everything went smoothly. And the staff? Just amazing. Super friendly, helpful, and always smiling. They made the whole stay even more enjoyable. I’m so happy I got to experience both villas — I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone coming to Bali. Thank you for the amazing memories!

This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us. It was our first time to live and spend the night in an open house, and also built entirely in bamboo. The house was very well maintained and equipped with everything. Briefly described: luxurious simplicity and fantastic views of the valley. Upon arrival, you will first walk past a "levada" (name used in Madeira, but actually the same principle) up to 3 thatched-roof bamboo houses, whose ours was most open. Decision: FANTASTIC

Our stay was just magical. Everything is exactly as pictured and described. Working with I Made was wonderful - he is super responsive, flexible, warm and kind. He had cute little pieces of advice for everywhere we went and he made everything easy. We ordered breakfast twice and it was delicious in both cases. We also got facials which are performed right in the room. When we arrived there were two coconuts for us to drink and bananas from the garden which we had fried each morning. The kitchen is easy to operate and had everything we needed. I would absolutely stay again!

We absolutely loved this place! the hosts were so helpful and responsive. Gojek/grab had a little bit of a hard time finding the place because I believe it is a newer road so hopefully that improves for them but none the less the place was great! They were so kind, greeting us with coconuts and even got a toy for my son (even after he accidentally broke an ornament 😩). Thank you thank you! Definitely recommend

We booked the El Dorado Villa as part of our first stop for a 2 week trip in Bali. We stayed here for 4 nights. Ester was our contact and was incredibly responsive. She even allowed us to check in early and drop our bags off. The property is located down a small road which can fit a car down. It’s next door to the ‘Astaga Flats’. Nearby are great breakfast choices we went to ‘Rise and Shine’ every morning. You also have ‘Copenhagen cafe’ on the corner. The property itself is just amazing. It was incredibly clean and so spacious. It was just the two of us and we really enjoyed the odd afternoon by the pool. There is a kitchen area but we didn’t use it but had all the amenities if you were staying there long term and looking to not eat out although the places on the doorstep for food are so cheap. Easy pick up and drop offs for grab taxis and mopeds. Would highly recommend staying here. Great value and great amenities. Special mention to Ester who was always responsive and helpful!

An incredible experience at the banana tree house. A magnificent view, the staff are so attentive and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. I recommend it 100%. (For people sensitive to noise, remember to take earplugs because the house is in the middle of nature and animals are sometimes noisy 😋🦎). Thank you very much again ❤️❤️
