Restored 90 year old farm building separate from house overlooking the McPherson Ranges and Mount Barney on a 17 acre farm block with animals. Great place to stay if you are walking Mt Barney, Mt May or Mt Maroon - 40 mins drive north. The cottage can accommodate 3 people using a queen bed and a trundle bed (extra $15/night). The cottage runs on solar power (off the grid); gas cooktop; gas hot water; septic toilet; tank water and wood heater. Dean's shed is overflowing with stories and harness.

We didnt want to leave!!! From the moment I booked Serenità for my Husband's suprise 30th getaway, I was counting down the days! And when the moment of arriving at this absolutely exquisite sanctuary came, we both had a few tears of happiness and endless comments of "Wow! Wow! wow!". The moment you walk up to this place, there is an instant sense of calmness and grounding, and the feeling of "I'm home". The whole decor is nothing but the best, and has been so beautifully executed; that you forget you are in a 'tent'. We have travelled extensively and have stayed in '5*' places, but this beats each and every one of them!- So much so, I wish there were more than 5* to give it! Serenità has everything you need, and is the perfect place to completely "disconnect to reconnect". All of the extra gifts were so thoughtful 💕 A huge Thank You for having us, and we cannot wait to stay again! Feeling so blessed 🙏🏻 Vicky and Alejo

We had a great, relaxing long week-end at the cottage. The description is absolutely right, it is a fantastic place to disconnect, relax and unwind. Start a fire, read a book, play games, take a walk... The farm tour was a great experience for the little one and the parents (puppies and chicks cuddles, collecting eggs, feeding horses, and a demonstration of the cattle dogs at work). There is no mains power but it was no trouble, there is a great solar + battery setup, adequate lighting, no issues with hot shower. We did well on the road with our 2wd, but careful that if you follow the road as indicated on Google Maps, if you get to a gate with a "Private property" sign, you went too far and must come back to the nearest house.

Tenterfield is a beautiful spot to stay. But Beks place was amazing, just the perfect spot to have our loved ones with us to stay. And Celebrate our wedding at The Ivy Chapel in town. A short drive to Stanthorpe, so much to do. Or to sit and watch the awesome sunsets . Bek was so helpful and a clean house, every detail had be thought of.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Workers Cottage. We had briefly visited Tenterfield last year and had definitely wanted to visit again. The cottage is in a perfect location straight across from parkland, situated in a very quiet street and walking distance to shops. We were so comfortable that we we wished we could have stayed longer. Hopefully we can come back again. We did not get to light the fire place but maybe next time. We are an elderly couple so a special thank you to Julia and Sean and Gayle and Josh on their behalf that helped us with a minor issue we had.

Pretty Pink Queenslander - Spectacular Views

Well what a blast staying at "Sunday at Mirumiru", everyday felt like a Sunday. The house and grounds were spotless, the beds comfy and soft. Mirumiru located just out of town and nestled at the base of the wonderful Mt Mackenzie was private and peaceful. At night all you could hear were the crickets, frogs and the odd Moo. The kitchen was a breeze to cook in with all the right stuff to create our culinary delights. Our host must do yoga as she bent over backwards to ensure our stay turned out to be glorious and regenerative.
