The cottage is just 5km from the centre of Thames township; everything is nearby, including the popular Hauraki Rail Trail which is a 3.5km cycle from Bakehouse Cottage.

Bring the whole family, or pack up the boat and bring your fishing buddies - this place has all you need. Relax on one of the 2 expansive decks, listen to the birds as you enjoy the peace of the surrounding bush-clad hills. Cook up your catch on the bbq and dine alfresco or enjoy a hearty meal at the local pub just around the corner. A classic kiwi bach in a tranquil setting away from the crazy hustle and bustle. Our light and cosy studio is situated under our house with its own entrance and is equipped with all you might need for a comfortable stay including continental breakfast. You can sit outside undercover and enjoy an al fresco breakfast. There is a pool table and darts for you to waste time on. All good fun. We love friendly Thames with its unique shops and cafes and hope that you will enjoy it too. Thames is ideally situated for exploring the Coromandel and the northern Waikato.
