The house is one level with a detached 2 car garage. Accessible through the alleyway behind the house. Alongside is a paved parking space. The home is clean and comfortable with window darkening blinds throughout. Central heating and air conditioning to keep the house comfortable. You'll never run out of hot water because it uses a Richmond hot water system. There are also 4 ceiling fans throughout. And multiple charging docks are provided for your phones, tablets, computers, etc.

Owners are next door. River and marina short block away within walking distance. Grocery store half a block away within walking distance. Downtown less than a mile. Galena about half hour. Iowa 5 min away and casino in Iowa 20-25 min. Palisades State Park 5 min away. This is a cozy cottage with use of deck and grill, and full amenities to cook in house if you like. This is our new favorite place to stay in the area. It's close to work, beautiful surroundings, pleasant hosts and very affordable! The house is very nice, the yard is well taken care of and the view of the lake is fantastic. Nothing better than sitting on a screened in porch facing a lake, with a cold one, after a long day of work!

I had a fantastic stay! The accommodations were super comfortable, and the space was decorated so cutely—it had such a welcoming and cozy vibe. Everything I needed for a relaxing weekend was thoughtfully provided. The host was incredibly responsive and made everything so easy with clear instructions for the home, plus helpful recommendations for things to do around town. It really made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again!

Second time staying here, and both times were relaxing and a lot better than staying at a hotel. The house is ver spacious. Kitchen is awesome. Loved the 2 living rooms with big tv's. Beds were super comfortable. Loved watching the deer on the property. Loved the washer and drier. Will stay here again.
