n the heart of the Loire Valley, along the Thouet River: a 700 square foot converted barn (newly renovated) with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The house is ideally-situated in the heart of the Anjou wine region, a few miles from Saumur (well-known for it's castle and the French National Horse-Riding School, ''Le Cadre Noir'', wine growers, and troglodytes sites). Also nearby: important castles in Angers, Chinon, Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, as well as Europe's largest monastic center, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, which features an excellent music and cultural program. Other worthwhile day trips include the exquisite Loire Valley castles, such as: Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Azay le Rideau, etc. The house, which is about 187 miles from Paris (300 km), or about 2 hours by TGV, can accomodate two couples with children (sleeps six altogether). The appartement includes : an entrance hall, a large sitting and dining room with a small equiped kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, and a small bedroom on a mezzanine level.

Atypical accommodation consisting of a friendly room (entrance, lounge area, fitted kitchen and dining area). Two bedrooms, separate toilet, a bathroom with shower/vanity unit. Beautiful 85 m2 ground floor appartment, fantastic view over the Thouet valley and river, 55 m2 private terrace. the Appartment is on the ground floor valley side of a beautiful house. Not suitable for handicapped guests. Huge garden which you will share with very discret hosts. Large Barbecue terrace, plunging pool Ping Pong, Boules area, vegetable garden. We are 50 mns from Puy du Fou- superb amusement park with daily shows- and the Futuroscope and offer a chauffeur service should you wish.

This farmhouse is located at the gates of Anjou. Winegrowers and village five minutes away. You can enjoy the Puy-du-Fou 55 minutes away, the Futuroscope is 1h20 away, the first castles of the Loire are 30 minutes away, the Doué-en-Anjou biopark is 20 minutes away, karting seven minutes away, Parc de la Vallée 10 minutes away, canoeing, cycling, hiking... You can go and collect eggs from the henhouse and feed the chickens. Our horses are close to the house. Pets allowed if well behaved!
