Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Thurrock

If you're considering staying at this Airbnb property, don't hesitate—go for it without any second thoughts. Like many, I was initially skeptical, but choosing this place turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. The host, Lize, is an incredibly kind-hearted and lovely person who truly goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Her daughter is equally kind and thoughtful, adding even more warmth to the welcoming atmosphere. As someone new to the UK, I often felt out of place and alienated, but Lize and her daughter made me feel completely at ease. They didn't just provide a place to stay—they made me feel like part of their family. They even took the time to show me around the area, helping me settle into my new surroundings. Their two adorable pets were a delightful bonus, bringing joy and comfort to my stay. These furry friends quickly stole my heart and made the experience even more memorable. In short, if you're looking for a place just go for it ☺️

A very nice house in a quiet neighborhood, close to stations , close to supermarkets! Host was communicative, no issues with the house or facilities,overall amazing place to stay

Hannah was extremely helpful throughout the booking process. The house was wonderful and was better than expected. It was very close to the shops and restaurants in Upminster and the train station and also had a bus stop outside. We loved our short stay. We were two families with young children and the house and amenities were perfect for us.

I would’ve never thought that the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in would be in a charming neighborhood in East London. I’ve stayed at a lot of nice ones too. ;) This place was so cozy and cute. The flat was pristine and equipped with everything. Possibly the cleanest I’ve ever experienced. We had all the necessities we needed and much more. I’ve never had a more thoughtful host. Beds are normally an issue with me when it comes to Airbnbs. However this bed was so comfortable. I got the best sleep. Like previously stated, the neighborhood is adorably charming and quiet. It’s within walking distance of essentially everything. Nice restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, pharmacy, beauty shops, plant shops, parks…the list is endless. It’s aldo conveniently located about 5-8 minutes walking distance from Snaresbrook train station. I would definitely choose to stay there the next time I visit London. There’s no debate. 10/10!

I don’t have anything bad to say about our stay at James Apartment. We had a very stressful start with our other Airbnb booking getting cancelled at the very last minute and James kindly agreed to host 5 of us at the last minute. He managed to get the apartment clean and ready for us at such short notice, we were so grateful. If you are attending an event at the O2 Arena it is perfectly situated, with a beautiful short walk to the Arena, where there is loads of shopping and restaurants. The view from the apartment was gorgeous and considering it’s in London it’s a very peaceful area and feels safe. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The beds were and bedding were very comfortable. We plan to book here again! Thanks James for all your efforts.

The flat is perfect for a stay for one or two people for a short break in Rochester. It's is easily walkable to and from the station and easy to find. It was peaceful but near the centre, the castle, cathedral and river with an incredible number or eateries nearby. The instructions for getting in were clear with no problems and the key box easy to use. (I have fought with a couple in the past!) The flat itself was spotless with all the amenities you need. There was plenty of kitchen equipment and Linda left milk, tea and coffee. My only note of caution, was it was up 3 flights of stairs which was easy to manage but I did have to take my bags (I don't travel light so had two ) one at a time. I would highly recommend this most comfortable flat if staying in Rochester

excellent location close to all we required. place is neat and host communication was amazing.

Enjoyed our second visit with Antony and Gonzalo. Had stayed 6 weeks in 2019 and became friends with them then. Made it a point to spend 3 nights with them on this trip and it felt like old home week. Antony is very knowledgeable about architecture and grand British homes so he can offer advice on where you may be able to see historic buildings and interesting houses. We hope to visit with them again on any future trip to England.

Had a brilliant stay in Abbie's lovely apartment - clean, cosy, and full of character. I stayed for a short trip ahead of the London marathon and it had everything I needed: short walk to Greenwich, great kitchen, easy check in/out, and the piano is a bonus!

The place was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated—exactly like the photos. It had everything I needed, from a comfy bed to all other amenities. The host was super friendly and responsive. would absolutely stay here again! 10/10
