Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ticino

Enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of this place for four days. Everything spotless - and with all amenities. House sits in a private park with a couple of other houses. True paradise - we would love to come again. You can walk down to the lago - though ended up taking the car most of the time to get to restaurants. A couple of very nice ones in the area - Riva/Shaka (beach club vibe), Osteria Vairano (magnificent view), Rodolfo (excellent local cuisine)

Casa Sarina is very nice and quiet and has a fantastic view over Lake Lugano. In the village of Carona there is a small kiosk that provides everything for everyday needs. For larger purchases, however, you have to drive into the valley via the serpentine road. From the property you can either walk directly or take wonderful walks through Vico Morcote to Morcote or Monte San Salvatore after a short drive by car. The place was very clean and as described by the landlord. Markus and Anna are very loving hosts and have enriched our stay with many tips. We would choose this accommodation again anytime.

We had a peaceful and relaxing time at Zoé's place. The house is really cozy and well-equipped, and Zoé is a great host, always attentive to our needs. If we have the chance, we'd love to come back :)

Our stay here in Maggia wonderful! Everything you need is close to the house, (even a short hike to a gorgeous waterfall!) The house was really comfortable and easy to access. We recommend it and look forward to visiting again!

We had such a lovely week at Guiseppe's house. It was very comfortable, and the location was stunning. The views! We came without a car and were a little nervous about that, but it was all so easy. So many hikes just steps from the door. Easy to walk to Sonogno for good food and more beautiful hiking, and there is also a lovely restaurant just down the road in Frasco. Also, the buses are up and down the hill very regularly and it picks up just a block down from the house. Only thing to know is to get any groceries in Tenero or in Brione.

Rolf was a great host for our stay near Brione. Very roomy home with lots of area to spread out if you have a group. He always responded quickly.

Very clean, nice and secluded space. From a friendly welcome to the accommodation, everything was very pleasant and absolutely recommended. I'm sure to come back.

Special home. We were fortunate to have sunny days and amazing views. Spent mornings on the balcony for breakfast and evenings cosy in the kitchen and living room. After long days visiting Valle Verzasca

Angela is the perfect host. She welcomed us so warmly and prepared everything for us with love. She thought of everything. The rooms are large and flooded with lots of light. I felt very comfortable and could only enjoy this week. If you want this location and the views, you've found the right place with Angela. We will be happy to come back.

Piero and Nadia are excellent hosts ensuring our stay went very smoothly. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the terrace taking in the view, and in the evening watching the sun go down.

Nicola is not only an outstanding host but a great human being, someone you will enjoy having a chat with. He made me feel at home taking care of the smallest details. The bed was super comfy. The flat was spacious including a beautiful balcony. The shower was powerful and hot. Everything was spotless! Last but not least I could hear the silence at night in that place, yet only a short walk from the beautiful centre of Ascona where you can find everything you wish for. A great stay and fantastic value for money! I hope to be back soon!

Beautiful, very stylishly furnished apartment with a breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore and the countryside. Casa Soleil is a beautifully located, private home. Great view, hikes/biking from home. We enjoyed the barbecue and garden (our dog too)! The garden chairs would have to be replaced, partly broken, all shaky and not enough upholstery. Kitchen well equipped. Would have welcomed a Nespresso machine. Beds comfortable, bathroom as new. Overall, we had a great 2 weeks, Alexandra let us easily extend one night. Would love to come again!

We were allowed to spend an extended weekend in this beautiful accommodation and felt very comfortable and welcome from the beginning. The beautiful garden, the loving furnishings and the warm care made our stay an all-round successful experience. We will be happy to come back!

Very nice apartment. Great location with beautiful views of Lake Maggiore. Very clean and well maintained apartment. Extensive equipment. Lots of little things available, such as spices, coffee capsules, oil, etc. As a welcome greeting, a bottle of red wine. Easy accessibility without steps.

The Alphüttli offered exactly what we were looking for. Peace, nature and just time to be! The neighbor Gregor is also very helpful and has three great dogs. Alex gave us great instructions and was always easily accessible for questions. We will be happy to come back!

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. Noemi responded quickly and attentively to our questions and concerns. Above all, the explanation by video on how to use the pellet stove was very helpful. Since it was a cool, rainy day, it was very nice to be able to heat up a little. The property is also good for people who arrive by Postbus like us. There is a small shop in the next village that has everything you need on vacation. And the nature, the tranquility are wonderful.

A rustic with top quality. Not too much and not too little. Tastefully and stylishly furnished. We felt SUPER comfortable. Unfortunately, the stay was too short ....... but we will come back 100%. Bravo Fabio!

Beautiful, lovingly decorated, small cabin high up in the mountains. We had a wonderful time hiking and climbing with our young children. It is very quiet on the Alp when the chairlift no longer runs in the evening. Aldo was very friendly and helpful. Even when it came to organizing luggage transportation. Great to really drive down. A beautiful place in the middle of the woods – highly recommended! Alois welcomed us very warmly and was always helpful. He gave us all the important information, so we immediately felt comfortable. The cottage is lovingly furnished and ideal for unwinding and enjoying nature. I'm sure we'll be back!

It was just right for a little getaway. I was able to refuel super; the surroundings and the house were a dream. I felt very comfortable right away. Mountain house surrounded by nature with breathtaking views that, alone, is worth the asking price for the stay. The house is spacious (we were in 5 adults) and has everything you need for a peaceful and pleasant stay. The two wood-burning fireplaces available are more than enough to heat the spaces in a short time and give a timeless atmosphere. Mario is an extraordinary host: responsive, very kind and available. The directions and instructions you gave us on the different roads to get to the house were clear, real and useful. In short: I recommend everyone to stay in Mario's house, you will not be disappointed!!
