Waterfront holiday rentals in Ticino

My husband, 6yo daughter, and I stayed at Carolina's apartment for two nights. The large terrace and the view of the lake and mountains are amazing - this alone is worth the stay. The apartment itself, though, was also very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The elevator directly to the apartment is convenient, and parking was very easy. The location is excellent - a quick walk to the lake, and we also walked to Locarno, stopping at multiple playgrounds along the way. There is a Coop gas station with a market nearby for quick groceries, and a bus station is also close. We had lovely autumn weather while there, so I can't speak to temperature control in the warmer months, but we did see several AC units, and there were fans available. All in all, I highly recommend and hope to return sometime very soon!

Nous avons été accueillis par une dame très gentille et soucieuse de notre bien-être, Mike est très réactif dans la communication, logement très sympa, l'environnement est idéal pour profiter de la montagne et de la rivière.

Schöne, saubere Unterkunft. Ideal gelegen. Tolle Restaurants in der Nähe. Strand von Ascona und Zentrum zu Fuss oder per Velo's (welche Fabio uns zur Verfügung gestellt hat) super erreichbar. Toller Gastgeber. Fabio hat uns insider Tips gegeben .... z.B. Restaurant. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben die direkte Lage am See sehr genossen, genau so wie die Nähe zu Restaurants und Gelateria! Die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen und wir fühlten uns von Anfang sehr wohl. Yvonne ist eine überaus freundliche Gastgeberin und und hat auf unsere Anfragen immer sehr rasch geantwortet. Wir können diese Wohnung sehr empfehlen!

Nous n'avons pas eu le plaisir de rencontrer Madame Luisa, mais elle a tout fait pour que notre arrivée soit facile et elle a continué à s'informer de notre bien-être pendant notre séjour. Elle s'est montrée d'une grande disponibilité et d'une grande gentillesse. L'appartement était impeccable, joli, fonctionnel et idéalement situé. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Wir waren 4 Wochen in der Wohnung. Meine Töchter mit Kleinkindern, 17 und 20 Monaten waren abwechslungsweise bei mir, dann verschiedenen Freunde. Für alle hat die Wohnung super gepasst. Vor allem die vielen Kinderbücher und Spielsachen waren fantastisch. Einzig das Badezimmer, war manchmal etwas ein Engpass, wenn sich am Morgen alle abwechslungsweise die Dusche teilten. Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet, etwas klein für zum Kochen für mehrere Personen. Auch hat es genügend Waschmaschinen im Keller um jederzeit Waschen zu gehen. Die Umgebung ist fantastisch. Alles sehr ruhig. Wir gingen jeden Morgen gleich unten am See jeden Morgen schwimmen. Tolle Restaurants gleich in der Nähe. Auch das Lido ist zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Wir waren richtig traurig Abschied zu nehmen und kommen gerne wieder mal. Ich kann allen die Wohnung bestens empfehlen :-)

Alles war super wir kommen wieder! Wir waren mit unseren drei Kindern da, die Umgebung mit Park und Pool direkt am See Ist perfekt. Für das Abendessen kann man mit dem Auto nach Campione oder Bissone. Für den täglichen Bedarf hat es in der nähe ein Coop. Auch super als Ausgangsziel für Ausflüge nach Lugano, Como oder Locarno! 5 Sterne gerne wieder!

Enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of this place for four days. Everything spotless - and with all amenities. House sits in a private park with a couple of other houses. True paradise - we would love to come again. You can walk down to the lago - though ended up taking the car most of the time to get to restaurants. A couple of very nice ones in the area - Riva/Shaka (beach club vibe), Osteria Vairano (magnificent view), Rodolfo (excellent local cuisine)

We had a fantastic stay at this charming and beautifully renovated home! The space is stylishly furnished with great attention to detail, and the kitchen was well equipped. One of our favorite parts was the lovely jasmine scent that greeted us each time we came in, adding a relaxing and fresh touch. The outdoor area is a true highlight — peaceful and beautifully set up for relaxing in the evening. It’s a hidden gem, tucked away yet close to so many things to do in the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot and would absolutely return!

Die Unterkunft war ideal für 2 Paare mit vielen Schlaf- und Badezimmern. Alles war vorhanden und mehr. Sauber war es und es hatte eine ne grosszügige Terrasse mit einer One Million Dollar View. Gut ausgestattete Küche, Holz für Cheminée standen bereit. Christoph gab uns Tipps und beim Checkin und Checkout war er entgegenkommend. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt - wir kommen gerne wieder.

Leo war ein feiner Gastgeber, der uns einen tollen Service geboten hat. Das alte Tessinerhaus ist romantisch und die Sicht auf den See von allen Fenstern ist herrlich. Für 8 ist es etwas eng, ideal für 6 Leute. Wir schätzten besonders, dass man wunderbar mit ÖV reisen kann. Schiff, Bus und Zug sind ganz in der Nähe. Der kleine Laden in der Nähe bietet alles für den täglichen Gebrauch.

Wir verbrachten eine wunderbare Woche in diesem romantischen Rustico. Die Kinder liebten das verwinkelte Häuschen und die Treppen und Weglein im Garten. Die Treppe ins obere Schlafzimmer ist wirklich sehr steil und die Türe ins untere Zimmer sehr schmal. Für sportliche Leute alles kein Problem😉. Das Haus hat alles was es braucht, gut ausgestattete Küche, wir liebten auch den Kamin. Der Aussenbereich ist unschlagbar-zum Glück hatten wir schönes Wetter. Besonders die Morgenstimmung mit Blick auf den Fluss und die Berge war sensationell. Vielen Dank!

Es war wunderschön. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was das Herz begehrt. Bobby war ein super Gastgeber!

Silvias kleine Rustico-Wohnung war schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Zum Eingang der Wohnung steigt man eine Aussentreppe zwei Stockwerke hoch. Auch der Schlafbereich mit zwei Betten in der Wohnung selber ist nur über eine steile Treppe erreichbar. In der Nacht muss man diese Treppe auch nutzen, um zum WC zu gelangen. Für uns war das noch gut machbar. Aber für Gäste mit Schwierigkeiten beim gehen und beim Gleichgewicht könnte das ein Problem darstellen. Die Lage im kleinen Dorf am Berghang war ruhig und friedlich. Uns hat es in dieser Wohnung und dieser Gegend sehr gut gefallen.

The view is the best part of Johannes's place. It's a magical vista of Lake Lugano. The place itself is very comfortable and convenient. We brought our one-year old, which meant we needed to be careful with the stairs, but there is plenty of room to play in the living areas and bedrooms. Gandria is a small lake-side town within walking distance, which was a pleasant surprise to us. It's a beautiful small town, which we found more enjoyable than Lugano.

Marugg's place exceeded all of our expectations!!!! Lugano was our final stop on our 2 week family trip through Italy. We experienced many beautiful places throughout the 2 weeks but Marugg's place exceeded them all!!! The attention to detail was phenomenal. The location was 'perfetto,' the views spectacular and the home pristine. Our grandchildren made excellent use of the pool and the outdoor space was incredible! We enjoyed our morning coffee on the expansive patio area soaking in the tranquil views of the lake and all of the beautiful flowers. The smell of honeysuckle abounded outdoors ~ Marugg's home truly encompassed all of the senses. We cannot recommend it enough and we can't wait to return on our next visit to see our Swiss family! Marugg, thank you so much for your kind hospitality! We feel honored to have been welcomed into your exceptional home. We made so many beautiful memories with our family. Residenza Vivian is very well located, and has an exceptional view of the lake and the mountains. Very spacious balcony too. Overall an excellent apartment for a short stay.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei Andrin. Mehr als diese Aussicht vom Balkon braucht man eigentlich nicht, aber auch der Rest der Wohnung ist schön und gut eingerichtet. Bis bald hoffentlich!

Wir sind rundum sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist super, die Unterkunft bietet sogar Kanus, die man benutzen darf.

Das Grischina in Locarno ist eine wunderschöne Wohnung am Lido di Locarno mit toller Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore und die Berge. Die Terrasse ist riesig.. Alle Zimmer sind sauber und gemütlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Badeanstalt ist gleich gegenüber und im Zentrum von Locarno ist man schnell zu Fuss. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist in 2 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir haben tolle 5 Tage in dieser ruhigen und dennoch zentralen Wohnung erlebt. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen. Arrivederci Grischina!
