'BEACHED' - Step Off The Deck And Onto The Sand

From the moment we walked in the door at “Beached” we knew we were going to have a great week. As soon as we opened the blinds, the most amazing view of the entire coastline of Wallaroo greeted us. The home was well stocked with cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, and most importantly, plenty of wine glasses. It had everything we needed and the location was just stunning. The description is absolutely spot on. Step off of the timber deck straight onto the sand, which we did many times during our stay. If we weren’t out walking along the beautiful sandy beach, we were sitting on the deck, with a coffee, or, maybe a glass of wine or gin and tonic in hand, watching the ferry come and go, boats out fishing, and amazing, and at times, spectacular sunsets. There is a super little café a 5 minute walk from Beached which serves great coffee. Carole is a fantastic host and made sure our check in was smooth and easy, with comprehensive instructions. We will definitely be back.

What a romantic hideaway! Staying in Tim's cottage felt like a big hug. We felt like just staying in the cottage the whole time because it just felt right. What a Quaint eclectic hideaway. So many treasured things. We both felt refreshed and invigorated after our few very special days. We will definitely be back for another treat.

We had a wonderful time at Protea Cottage, thanks to Amber's impeccable taste in furnishings, decor and cleanliness. Amber is obviously very detailed and has thought of everything a guest might need. Amanda & Taguen thought of everything to ensure we had an amazing stay. Complimentary wine & Easter eggs were a great personal touch. Phone chargers + bathrobes in both bedrooms - how good is that! Even our dogs were thought of - so lovely! Well equipped kitchen & bathroom & amazingly comfortable beds. Beautiful & serene outdoor area Very clean. We had the best time. Would highly recommend!
