The Greenhouse Cottage

We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! This new modern home is anything but ordinary. With four 11 foot windows lining the front of the home it allows for the space to feel light and airy. The bright interior is a perfect contrast to the exterior. Located in a quite neighborhood close to Newbury Neck Beach. This home offers parking, WIFI, a washer and dryer, and an outdoor lounge area. Just a short drive will put you in the heart of Blue Hill where you’ll find great restaurants and cafes. Acadia National Park is just 30 miles away.

Tiny House at Wooded Bliss Homestead

On the edge of our family homestead overlooking meadow & forest, this tiny house offers a quiet, cozy refuge only 40 minutes from Acadia National Park. There's a twin daybed on the ground floor & a double futon in the loft. Full kitchen & tiny bathroom with shower too. A heat pump keeps the place toasty warm or nice and cool. Our family's gazebo, fire pit, hammock, trail & garden are shared with guests. The tiny house and meadow are very private on the edge of the property, and just for you.

Farm stay in a cozy yurt

Welcome to Bald Mountain Farm. The yurt has a full bed. It is hooked up to electricity for lights and a hot plate. Pots, pans and utensils are in the drawer. The compost toilets are in the back. Wood for the stove is included for colder nights with kindling. There is no running water but we provide a drinking fountain and a little sink to wash up (pumping pedal). No shower. The distance between parking and the yurt is about 150 yards. In the spring it can be very muddy with the snow melting.
