Art in residence 『EDO NAGAYA』 KYOUJIMA asakusa

JulieRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
the accomodation was very cozy and just as described. The neighborhood was quiet and away from the city hustle , but close enough to be convenient. Only complaint is there are quite a few ambulances in the evening , but nothing too bad. I would stay there again given the opportunity.

2 min walk Sta./11 min HNDairport/1st Floor/Wi-Fi

ZhongxinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The location is good, the station is 3 minutes walk away.Surrounded by many restaurants where you can have a late-night snack, there are pine houses and McDonald's that are open late.So go home at night not to worry about nothing to eat. The room is clean and bright and is a very classic traditional house. The host is very well maintained. Because near the track, you can hear the train, but this issue didn't bother me at all, even if I was a light sleeper and closed the windows, it was a little unbelievable. The host also communicated well. The only thing that was a little regrettable was that it was a little too early to check out at 10, which was too stressful for anyone wanting to sleep a little more in the morning. Other than that everything is perfect.

120 ㎡, Luxurious Japanese Style in Tokyo, Free Cultural Experience, Jacuzzi

TaleahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. She dressed us in beautiful kimonos, carefully helping us put them on the correct way. Drinking matcha that was pure and fresh—words fail me. It was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Truly unforgettable. The

A wonderful host that not only picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at the accommodation but also took us to the local restaurant that was recommended. The house was clean with everything you need including USB chargers, bottled water, and all the items that makes for a wonderful stay. Our host also picked us up and took us back to the train station at the end of our stay! Highly recommended to everyone

Chika’s place is so nice and clean, it’s the best little cute house ever, cozy warm and full of love. We enjoyed all the little details of this house! It locates at a very quiet little street, surrounded by a lovely neighborhood walking distance to MTR and convenient stores. My family really had great time here, my kids loved it so much! Definitely feeling like my home@Tokyo, and lastly I am very appreciated for gift and the hand-written warm greeting from Chika!

COMORI (Comori) is an inn in Shinagata, Tokyo, where you can spend a relaxing time alone * Includes a hot spring ticket

HarukaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Before I stayed, they sent me a video of how to get to the inn and how to unlock the door, so I was able to get there without getting lost. From the moment I entered the inn, I was impressed by the very nice space! As the name COMORI suggests, it is a very quiet place, perfect for a solitary retreat. This time I could only stay for one night, so next time I would like to stay for consecutive nights and enjoy relaxing at the inn and walking around the area!

The room is tidy and the environment is quiet and conducive to sleep. Many convenient little details also seem very thoughtful. There was also an umbrella at the door of the room, and although it didn't rain during the days of the stay, it made people feel very thoughtful.

4-minute walk to the station, 52 ㎡, relaxing Japanese-style room for 4 people, with a calm atmosphere to soothe you!

LuyangRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A very comfortable and wonderful stay, the house is about 5 minutes walk from the subway station, you can go directly to popular places such as Shinjuku, Tokyo, Akihabara, etc., and there are also many pharmacies and restaurants nearby. The room is large, with three separate bathrooms.Other comments say that there is a smell when you enter the door, and there is indeed a smell of wood, but we think it is very similar to cucumber-flavored chips, and we like it very much. One small disadvantage is that if someone stays on the second floor, the soundproofing is not very good because they don't wear slippers.Overall, it's worth five stars

This was my second time staying at StayFab’s apartment in Shimokita and just like the first time we loved it. We appreciate the apartments proximity to the train station, shopping and restaurants. The apartment is an ideal size for a family traveling with kids. David is a great host and a great communicator.

Tatoo ok! Onsen of 400 years of history【禅】

RexRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Gimmicky. I want to get that out of the way right now. This property is capitalizing off of having an onsen nearby with traditional looking Japanese bedding and decor. That's what got me, and it might be what's getting you...I would say that's probably not worth it. The place itself is fine. The bedding is fine, but in the end I chose this place over other cheaper options for the novelty, I feel I could have gotten a little bit better value elsewhere, but still overall happy with what I got and what I paid. I used the onsen once during my two week stay. I really like onsens, but this one is small, busy, and I just wasn't a fan. Service was awesome. He spoke great English, and helped me bring my heavy luggage up the stairs to my room. Overall, despite starting out critical here, this place is really nice and I like the quiet area next to nice walking paths. Lastly, I wish the place had a small dining table and chairs. You basically have to eat at a small low table on the floor.

US31 Yamanote Line Ueno, Japan, famous designer apartment, direct access to Ueno 2 mins, direct access to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Akihabara, Tokyo, convenience store, eateries

DavidRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The apartment we stayed in was very clean, full of amenities and a very comfortable bed. It was perfect for us as a family of 3 with a 2 year old baby. The apartment is stylish, comfortable and modern! What makes this place stand out above every other air bnb we have stayed in was the customer service levels. The host, Aiko is extremely helpful, fast to respond and eager to help and give tips for the area or anything you could possibly need. One stand out item was that we were on our way to the airport and had forgotten our iPad. Aiko contacted us immediately to say she found it and when our driver refused to turn around, she told us not to worry and actually drove over an hour to the airport, offering absolutely amazing service levels and a kindness we have not seen before from any host. We highly recommend this air bnb! You will be in safe hands and stay in a beautiful apartment, you couldn’t ask for more!

Flexible check in. We arrived after 10pm and was still able to easily check in. We had our bags delivered and they were already placed in our room. No need to pick it up from the front desk. Washer/dryer combo was used everyday with supplied detergent. We didn't use the kitchen but there is enough to make your own meals for longer stays. Multiple convenience stores nearby as well as restaurants. Our favorites were Boulangerie Noli et Nori for morning baked goods and Byron Bay Coffee Company for coffee. Ubers ranged from 1,600 to 3,000 yen

【RIKI.FLAT 102】20sec to "Your Name" Stairs!

JonathanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Sho's flat is a perfectly located room in a neighbourhood which is fun to explore - tons to do, all within walking distance. The nearby temples/shrines are sublime. Take Sho's excellent food recommendations - all of which turned out to be exceptional; recommended walk to the gym/pool also great. (Within blocks, there is a restaurant-filled quarter - incredible variety.) The walks themselves are scenic, and the location convenient to virtually all of Tokyo. Sho was always kind, helpful and responsive. The room is a great place to crash...do bring earplugs, though, as you are at the mercy of the guests upstairs (who may not walk on tiptoe.) The character of the small room is that of a simple hotel - it is not very personal or apartment-like. The bathroom is comfortable, clean and functions well. Although the check-in process sounded quite elaborate, it ended up being easy. Choose this place for the location and exploring ...and for a good night's sleep, as the room is small and simple.

Andy Garden Inn Tokyo Shinjuku Andy's Garden Inn Room 201 Higashi-shinjuku

HelenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My husband and I, along with our 9 year old son, traveled to Japan for the first time and had the best stay at Andy’s inn. He was very responsive, the place was not huge but was big enough to fit our needs. The beds were comfortable, clean, there was heating and air conditioning, microwave and fridge. There is a washer but no dryer, which wasn’t a problem bc we just hung our clothes outside the patio to dry. The train station and 7-11 is only a couple minutes away. We walked to Shinjuku within 20 minutes. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay near the action but still have peace and quiet!
