Apartment holiday rentals in Tokyo Prefecture

A very nice place to stay! It was compact yet equiped with everything you could want like a washing machine, a balcony and a small kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy and a huge bonus was the view from the balcony. The apartment is located in a quiet area with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. Two train lines are nearby. A bus station is right outside the apartment. On top of that was our host very quick to respond to our problems and frequently asked if they could help us in any ways. We felt welcomed, relaxed and pleasant throughout our entire stay and would definetly come back here <3

Very well equipped apartment! Was great for what we needed. Around 15 mins walking from major stations, but walkable to many restaurants and buses. Thanks for the recommendations for our trip too!

You can’t beat this location if you want to stay in Shinjuku. Golden Gai is practically your backyard and you’re right in the heart of many amazing restaurants and shops. Yasuhiko has amazing communication- quick to respond and always offering help for recommendations in the area. Couldn’t recommend this spot more!

Good location, approximately 1km walk to the main Ginza main street. No housekeeping throughout the stay after check in, but we happily borrowed the vacuum cleaner and did our own cleaning + some cardio. Staffs were exceptionally friendly. 2 gems near the hotel (within 150m) - 1) Mario karts for rental just next door and 2) a local grocery shop just down the street selling good and affordable fruits and meat

We had a fantastic stay at Tomo’s house! The apartment is clean and comfortable and it was great for our young children. The area is lovely - there is a playground close by, it is very close to the subway station and there are lots of shops and places to eat nearby. Tomo gave very clear instructions for how to get to and access the apartment and everything inside and we felt very welcome. Arigato gozaimasu, Tomo - we would happily stay again!

Our stay at Mimiko’s was short but it was a great find. We came as a family of three with a 1.5 year old and it worked great for us even though it’s not advertised for children. The queen sized was perfect; all 3 of us fit comfortably and the toiletries in the shower smell amazing. I asked in advance about coffee and Mimiko went out of her way and provided drip coffee packs as well as coffee filters and a drip. I felt that was going above and beyond. Most places just provide what they provide but Mimiko went an extra step even for something so small. I also forgot my child’s sleep bag and she’s sending it to my home. Lifesaver!

Yuichi was very easy to communicate, he was kind and very accommodative. Checkin process was easy, the treats are touching, and hot spring was an absolute bonus! The stuff was kind too.

Chie is very friendly and her place is in a great location—ideal for two. A more local neighborhood, not filled with tourists, so perfect if that’s what you’re looking for.

Great place to stay! Stylish, clean, comfortable and well located. Everything in the apartment was so well organized, with detailed usage instructions! Beds were comfortable, and we loved the rooftop patio. Location was perfect for getting around the city on the subway. Host was responsive, provided clear check-in instructions, and everything went perfectly smoothly! Would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay.. the house was in a great location, had everything we needed, very well organized, clean, loved the water pressure in the shower as well as the amenities provided such as shampoo and conditioner and soap, the host gave very detailed instructions and was very quick to respond. We loved how there was a market and many convenience stores and restaurants near by, as well as close proximity to the subway station. Would stay here again.

We loved staying at Shimbashi West Section L! Concierge was extremely warm and welcoming. Check-in and check-out was extremely smooth and easy. We loved the entire vibe of this place! The lounge was comfortable and had a tea, coffee and soft drink station with some snacks that you could help yourselves with. We arrived Wed and they have happy hour where they featured a few drinks for self serve. The overall room was thoughtfully designed and had storage under the bed. There's a bench, table and chair for you to sit and have meals. The room was furnished with appliances and their app had instructions. There were 2 ac units. The water pressure was great. The toilet & shower was a bit larger and there was counter space for stuff. In the halls, we could hear families with kids - the rooms were soundproof very well. We tried the sauna which was a great way to wind down and relax. I'd highly recommend staying here, it's clean, thoughtfully designed and made us feel right at home!

Rie’s apartment is at a very golden location, with only 5 min walk to a metro station. And the station has very convenient elevators just at the street corner from the apartment. We had a lovely 3-day stay there and enjoyed very much. Thanks Rie for the warm host! Recommend.

Very good stay, very friendly

The apartment is very spacious and clean! There is lots of closet space and places to lay out luggage without ever feeling cramped. The view from the bedroom window is spectacular at night, just a beautiful view of the Tokyo Tower. The appliances worked great especially the on-demand water heater, the super auto heat function on the microwave and the Dyson hair dryer! The shower room heater/room dryer dried our clothes and the room super fast. Walkable to a convenient store, grocery store, and good restaurants. The neighborhood is truly silent at night yet convenient to multiple train lines. Excellent stay❣️

Nori-san's place is great, it has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The location is great, you'll be close to many shops and restaurants while also being close to the train station to explore more of Tokyo. Nori-san also provided good recommendations close by which was appreciated. No complaints, I would stay here again if I get the chance.

Very spacious, close to the subway station, very convenient.The house is fully equipped, the toiletries are also fully equipped, the landlord is very nice, and you can store your luggage.

Gimmicky. I want to get that out of the way right now. This property is capitalizing off of having an onsen nearby with traditional looking Japanese bedding and decor. That's what got me, and it might be what's getting you...I would say that's probably not worth it. The place itself is fine. The bedding is fine, but in the end I chose this place over other cheaper options for the novelty, I feel I could have gotten a little bit better value elsewhere, but still overall happy with what I got and what I paid. I used the onsen once during my two week stay. I really like onsens, but this one is small, busy, and I just wasn't a fan. Service was awesome. He spoke great English, and helped me bring my heavy luggage up the stairs to my room. Overall, despite starting out critical here, this place is really nice and I like the quiet area next to nice walking paths. Lastly, I wish the place had a small dining table and chairs. You basically have to eat at a small low table on the floor.

The apartment is very comfortable, clean, with a view of Tokyo's Sky tower, modern and great for a good stay, close to the subway, which connects you very well with the whole city. The host is very attentive to all needs. I highly recommend this airbnb.

If you’re looking for a quiet place in Shinjuku to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, this is your spot! My husband and I enjoyed the proximity of Shunki’s place to the Shin-Okubo station but also appreciated the tucked away feeling after a long day of walking through Tokyo. As are most rooms in Tokyo proper, it is small, but it worked for the two of us. We were able to navigate the space and still feel comfortable. Again we had a brilliant time at Akari san's apartment this year, Staying Akari san's place is one of highlight of our trip. The reason for this is not only the flat's location, size, layout and ease of use, I always feel at home. The rooms had been renovated and I could feel the story behind Akari's new design in many places. The linen textured walls and the kintsugi (gold-plated wood joinery) that connects the before and after renovation made it clear how much Akari cares about this room and the guests who stay here. The linen was clean and comfortable, and most importantly, every time she remembered that my daughter and I wanted to sleep in separate areas, and was thoughtful enough to set up a comfortable bed in the living room for us. The only drawback is that this room is too popular and it is difficult to book the expected number of days. This can't be helped, but we hope to be able to stay a little longer next year than we did this year.
