This is what you’ll find at Grandma’s House, a tastefully preserved mid-twentieth century cottage five minutes on foot from Toyoumi Beach in Kujukuri town.

Our home is a 15 minute train ride from Shinjuku. The town of Nogata is lively and convenient, and we are a few blocks away in a quiet residential neighborhood. You will stay on the first floor, with use of the basement of our three-story house. You will have your own entrance, complete privacy and almost everything you will need to feel at home upon your arrival. Our home is best for families, remote workers or people who like to relax after a long day.

元お茶室の古民家をAirbnb用に改築しました。 建築は山田紗子さんです。 １０坪ほどの小さな空間ですが、柔らかでカラフルな光りに包まれた歴史ある古民家で、様々な感覚を研ぎ澄ます体験をしていただければと思います。 静かな住宅地になりますのでハウスルールを守っていただく方のみご利用いただけます。 ※原則としてこの建物はゲスト以外の立ち入りを許可していません。※ We renovated an old Japanese-style house, which used to be a tea room, for use on Airbnb. The architect was Suzuko Yamada. ※As a rule, this building is not open to non-guests.※

一日一組で、のんびり、ゆったり。

街中にありながら、緑と、土と、鳥のさえずりと。歴史を感じる風情があります。建物は屋久杉や、秋田杉などを、使っております。家屋の中に蔵という、内蔵は、この辺りでもとても、珍しいもので、一見の価値があります。石造りのその蔵の中にいると、なんともいえない気分になること間違いなし！ 生活用品は 冷蔵庫、レンジ、ガス台、ドラム式洗濯乾燥機などなど。何日泊まっても、大丈夫。 サウナもあります。サウナのあとは少し激しすぎるシャワーに打たれ、整えて下さい。足利の観光地といわれるところまで、1キロ以内。歩いて散策するのもよし。電動自転車もありますので、サイクリングで行くのも良し！ この家にいることが幸せと思ってもらえるように、くつろげる空間をつくって、お待ちしています。
