Nice location- near restaurants and central without being at all noisy. Friendly hosts with clear and helpful information. Accommodation matched the photos and description. Everything needed was available and was clean and tidy.

Alwyn's place was in a really quiet location, easy to find and very comfortable. The unit had everything we needed for our stay and was a great place to come back to relax in between hockey games because it was nice and close to the grounds. The weather was pretty ordinary while we were there but there was ample heating for us in the unit to feel comfortable. Alwyn was exceptionally friendly to talk to and was there if needed. I would recommend staying at Alwyn's place and will stay again if I come back to Toowoomba.

We stayed in Toowoomba for a wedding and had a great experience. The place was neat and tidy, with excellent heating that kept us warm during the chilly nights. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Katie was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Our second stay, a very homely place and greatly appreciated it as our base to come home to while in Toowoomba.

Second stay at Alans and it did not disappoint again. Great amenities and loads of special touches that makes it feel like a friendly English B’n’B. Also doesn’t hurt that the good doggos are super friendly and entertaining. Will be re-booking when I’m back in Toowoomba.

We had a lovely stay at Isabell cottage, it was so beautiful, the location was excellent, in the heart of Toowoomba and only a few steps from Laurel bank park. It’s such a lovely walk around that area, perfect spot for morning walks to coffee shops. Her whole house was immaculate and well decorated - thankfully there wasn’t lots of clutter that my children could grab or play with. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, with kettle, coffee pod machine. Toasted and was very clean. There was some lovely breakfast supplies which was much appreciated too as all the shops were closed on the public holiday we checked in. We are very thankful for such a lovely accomodation and a helpful and considerate host. Looking forward to visiting again.

So many things to say about this amazing stay that we. Comfortable beds, soft towels, plenty of blankets. Plenty of firewood. The most awesome decked out kitchen out of any of the Airbnb‘s I’ve stayed at it had a plate and both everything which chose not to go out to any restaurants and eat in every night. We binged on Netflix on that huge projector screen wow just wow . Alain was like an old friend, making sure we were settled and taken care if . I would absolutely have no hesitation in highly recommending a stay at the old church beautiful just beautiful .

The cottage was very quaint and well decorated. We felt so welcome with a personal message on the white board, chocolate and wine. Lactose free milk in the fridge. Maryke goes above and beyond to please. It was a pleasure to stay and would definitely come back or recommend this property.

How is this a real place! Absolutely beautiful as soon as you hit the gate. Stayed here for a wedding at Crows Nest and all of us agreed we would stay here again. Lovely cottage in a very quiet and peaceful area. Hosts had the fire going when we arrived which was a lovely touch. They also left us a thoughtful message. I booked Banksia cottage for my parents and dog to have a little holiday. It was the perfect place, with everything they needed to have a peaceful and relaxing time. It is the perfect place to switch off and enjoy nature and each others company with such a beautiful, quaint outdoor space and the ability to sit by the fire inside and just listen to music or play a game. It’s a nice walk (20 ish) into the city centre and 25ish to queens park which is great if you are travelling with a dog. Definitely one of the best, if not the best, cottage in the area and for the price. Ange was also so responsive and communicated with my mother directly for a smooth check in. We’ll be back 💕
