Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Torbay

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

Clean, cozy and well equipped (kitchen, etc). Peaceful location and the extra amenities were great! (Swimming pool, etc). We would stay again.

Really loved our stay in the cottage. It's beautiful, comfortable and clean. Had everything required. Caron has great communication and told me everything I needed regarding location, parking and access. And on hand to answer a few smaller questions to! Loved the stay and very much recommend!

The pictures don't do justice to the property. Is better than it looks. Spacious rooms, confy beds , cosy furniture, friendly host ...all reviews are spot-on . Is not possible to give more than 5 stars ✨️. There is remote controlled canopy which we used it (was warm but raining for 30 min )and enjoyed the whole afternoon without issues and I am underlining that because U can see it in the picture but there is a table with umbrella and won't pay attention to the rest(when got there found upgraded table ,bigger, square with gravity chairs) No words...we felt straight away like home. Stuart and hollys place was everything you could ask for in a holiday home. We had a meet and greet with stuart. There is a huge helpful information pack in the accommodation waiting for you. Which basically covers everything. Plus stuart was on hand with anything else we needed to know. We wouldn't hesitate in booking to return again next season. Off road parking was very good.

We had a lovely stay at Ade's place. He was very helpful and accommodating. Its easy to get to the main beach and a few minutes walk from the station. The house is spacious, nicely decorated and clean with a lovely small garden at the back. Good location. Roadside parking for small cars available. I was always able to get a space when I went out and came back. Great hosts as well. Thank you.

Perfect! The house was beautiful and had everything you could have wanted. I would recommend it in a heartbeat to any one looking for a place to stay with a large group.

David and Catherine were extremely accommodating hosts. They were quick to respond and there was always an open line of communication. The apartment was excellent and well located for the harbour, bars and places to eat out. Would recommend.

We had a fantastic time at Daphne and Paul’s place. Fabulous apartment, comfortable, private and with everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay, off road parking a bonus. There was also a beautiful garden, unfortunately it rained too much for us to use it! Walking distance to the beach and harbour, restaurants, bars and shops. Highly recommend.

Really nice top floor flat with great views of the harbour. Glenn was a top host and really responsive providing clear instructions. Would highly recommend!

Although we didn’t see much of them due to self check-in due to arriving late which was accommodated for, when we did pass them they were friendly! They also went above and beyond to help us get to our reservation on time after no taxis were available, Rose gave us a lift which was much appreciated! A lovely little place to stay if you want a weekend away and privacy. Perfect location and close but not too close to the town! Everything you could need was available from crockery to towels. We can’t wait to visit again.

Beautiful place and perfect location. Would be tricky for anyone with mobility issues due to number of steps, but it certainly gave our legs a work out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here including the beautiful property, amazing views and lovely hospitality. Both Chris and Julie were so welcoming, friendly, attentive and helpful during our stay. We had a few queries and Chris and Julie supported us to navigate these in a timely manner. The property itself is just like the photographs in particular the room in the attic is picturesque and has gorgeous views of the sea and surroundings. The gestures and amenities including leaving a welcome note and a gift of fudge for us, a birthday wish for my father, the greeting from Chris, the tea/coffee/milk, top quality fan, hoover and Alexa! Everything was superb and we are very happy with our stay. Thank you Chris and Julie for such a wonderful stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Beau Blue with Sindy. The place is very comfortable and super cosy - just like the pictures and description. Sindy is a very thoughtful and sweet host and has ensured the apartment has everything a home away from home could need. The apartment is well-located and we enjoyed being able to walk around town. First impression of this flat were the breathtaking views through the living room, and bedroom windows. Absolutely beautiful! Waking up to that view, WOW! Would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at Moira's place - beautiful location and super close to Brixham centre. The house has everything you need, the kitchen in particular is well equipped. We enjoyed our breakfast, lunch and dinners outside. Would definitely like to come and visit again!

Had a booking cancelled at short notice and had to find an alternative sharpish.. found this one and the host was back to us straight away and remained in regular contact. Directions and getting in were easy and we even got notification that the accommodation was ready early. Very clean and comfortable inside - nice and cozy Great job by the host.

The hosts were incredibly friendly, warm, and easy to talk to — they made me feel welcome right from the start. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and they were always available for any questions or local tips. The flat was spotless, well-equipped with everything I needed, and very comfortable. The location is excellent — within walking distance of everything — and having a safe parking space was a huge plus. They’re truly thoughtful and attentive hosts who clearly care about their guests. Lovely weekend stay at The Snug. Everything we needed was provided, felt like home from home. Great location, 10 mins gentle walk to the harbour. Parking not a problem. Bed super comfy. Kitchen well equipped. Quick communication from Mia when had a couple of questions, would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Nice little apartment in a perfect location. Short walk to a beautiful harbour with plenty of bars/restaurants. Apartment itself was clean and tidy, with nice seating area in the courtyard

We would highly recommend a staying here for either a short stay or long one. Close to the harbour and you don't need a car to get around the town. The cottage is so cosy and comfortable and you have everything you need here. Rebecca is an awesome host and responded to any questions very quickly. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. PLEASE DO NOT SCROLL PAST. This place may not be the typical Airbnb because it doesn’t have a lounge or kitchen but it was perfect for us, our 3 kids and small dog. Firstly Sophie was incredibly responsive to any question I had before arriving but on arrival, wow. The fridge full of lovely biscuits, milk (which you can select the type prior to arrival) and bottled water. There was a fully stocked coffee machine and cereals for breakfast. The lovely linen and towels were an added bonus and the toiletries smelled divine. After a long drive to get there, Sophie was quick to suggest letting our dog walk in her perfectly manicured garden to stretch her legs. Honestly Sophie’s place was so comfortable, so clean and perfectly located we will definitely be back. Didn’t want to leave a good review because I want to be able to book again but I simply cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you so much for having us.
