The Labrador's Corner

Rincón del Labrador II is located in the town of Santa Espina, in a valley of Montes Torozos, and 40 km from Valladolid. The house is a few meters from the magnificent and well preserved Monastery of Santa Espina. The accommodation is a nice under deck (slightly curved) that has 2 double rooms (one with a 1.50cm double bed and the other with two with two 1.05cm beds.), they are rustic style and with beautiful and different decoration. They have wooden floors and a bathroom with shower and double sink. In addition, each room has a TV. Heating can be adjusted to the temperature you want. The house has a dining room with kitchen, where you can prepare your breakfast or meals and enjoy them in front of a fireplace arranged in front of a sofa bedside table in the living room. If you prefer to enjoy your stay and not cook, next door you can find our bar-restaurant El Rincón del Labrador dedicated to traditional and homemade cuisine using local produce. Don't miss out! Our area and environment is ideal for hiking, since we are in a valley in the middle of the mountain, where you can relax and enjoy the area's own fauna and nature. There are different alternative routes that will indicate to you at the tourist office. In addition, the village gives them the option of renting bicycles to rent bicycles to be able to do so if you want. Mention the route to the Swamp, easy and comfortable to walk, by bike or even by car, although we recommend you to enjoy the environment taking care of the environment of Nature itself. As well as the obligatory visit to the Monastery, you can enjoy the exhibition of Butterflies that is in the Monastery itself, La casa de la Naturaleza a few meters away, and villages of the region with importance such as Medina de Rioseco (with its Holy Week declared as an International tourist interest, Urueña with the Villa del Libro, Villagarcía (La Colegiata), route of the castles such as Torrelobatón..., San Cebrián de Mazote (its pre-Romanesque church). All just a few kilometers from La Santa Espina We are very good communities since the A6 motorway, which connects Madrid with A Coruña, is only 12 km away and Villanubla airport is 25 minutes away.

AMAZING STAY! I fully recommend this place for anyone visiting Valladolid. Very central to lots of shops and restaurants. Elizabeth and Thor 🐾 are very welcoming. The home is very clean and tidy. The room and bathroom are perfect for one or two people. The only thing I would say is if you are sensitive to noise, there is a couple bars right outside the balcony door that were busy until 4am. I quite liked the noise, I had the windows/doors open all night for the fresh air and it didn’t bother me - just wanted to make a note. Elizabeth does provide earplugs if needed! Very thoughtful. I would stay here again! 10/10. 🩵🩵

I would say her apartment is much better in real life than even the photos. Everything is designed to be relaxing and well thought out, even for tall people (which can often be an issue for tall people who aren’t from Spain). Mer gave us great local recommendations. We are moving to Valladolid so hopefully we will see Mer again in the future.

Very good person...very fun and very kind...very comfortable bed and the best shower...modern kitchen with all the amenities...this house is great in the historic center near the cathedral and restaurants...you can walk along the Roman bridge, have a drink at the beach bar overlooking the river, and visit Tordesillas or the archives of Carlos V and Felipe II 2 mins away. Great!
