We enjoyed staying at this apartment with great views of the water! 7min drive from Torshavn city centre. Host was responsive and helpful.

Perfect location for the city thorshaven

One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in. The space was incredibly spacious and thoughtfully equipped with nearly every comfort of home. The hosts' attention to detail was outstanding, and their warm welcome made us feel immediately at ease. When we accidentally left something behind, they went out of their way to return it—such lovely, considerate people. The accommodation itself was excellent, with just a short walk to nearby parking.

A lovely apartment with a great view. Clean and tidy. Central location. Nice welcome . The only small minus was the lack of description of how the dishwasher is started. All in all, we were very happy with the apartment.

The accommodation at Nancy and Karl Oddmar's was an absolute stroke of luck! The apartment was lovingly prepared for us (with high chair, baby bath and bath toys for the children), super clean and tidy, at the same time incredibly cozy. The view is magnificent, we enjoyed the small bay every evening and could watch whales, dolphins and seals there. Due to car damage, we were on the bus almost the entire time, which was also possible from the accommodation without any problems. Nancy and Karl Oddmar were also immediately helpful here and supported us in finding a workshop. A special highlight for our older son was the chickens, which he visited several times a day, and all the other animals of the neighbors.

Stayed at this house for several nights, and it was exactly as described. Holger and Sylvia provided many brochures and suggestions regarding things to do in the area, and we're very quick to respond to messages. The house is spacious and was very clean.

Perfect location, cozy flat and wonderful hosts!

Helgi's house is very large and carefully furnished. It is located in a quiet area, about 7 minutes by car from Torshavn. Communication was clear and quick. For example, when we reported that the hair dryer wasn't working, they brought us another one in 5 minutes. Excellent cleanliness, everything new and tidy. Recommended for families and groups of friends!

The house is comfortable and has all the comforts. Upon entering, it was pleasantly warm. All rooms are nicely decorated. You stay at the end of a road, so there is no traffic passing by... wonderfully quiet with only the sound of birds and sheep. We really felt at home. Beautiful location, cosy house, clean and comfortable

The little house is tastefully and personally decorated. It is centrally located to the ferry and the bus that runs to the airport. It is located in the old quarter of Thorshavn, which has a special, authentic flair.

Very nice and lovely stay at Lina’s house. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. Everything worked well from check in to check out and Lina answered questions in good time and was very proactive.

The place was just as described, we felt right at home. We had everything we needed and more, from kitchen utensils to an outstanding record collection. There’s shops only a short distance away and easy access to other towns as well. The house was very suitable for a family with children with many games and toys around. The view speaks for itself. A true place to just relax and wind down. The most outstanding feature though was Eyðfríð herself. Sadly we didn’t meet her but her communication and helpfulness is unparalleled in our experience. She helped us out in a pinch when we had some travel issues and gave us many recommendations on the way.

Nice stay in a lovely apartment

If this are looking for a place to stay within walking distance to all the best of Torshavn and yet far enough outside the main areas where driving is stressful, look no further! The flat was spacious, clean, and felt like home for our family of 4. We loved the view (and the sheep) from the window and the cozy feel of the flat. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the beds in the primary room have position control so you can set the sleeping position of your choice. The area is very quiet yet close to restaurants and a grocery store. We especially appreciated access to the washer and dryer. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook meals and make morning coffee. My kids appreciated the roasted nuts and snacks, which were a nice touch but the host. The hosts were very responsive and quickly helped me gain entry after my husband accidentally took the key hiking!

We loved staying at Benita’s place. Benita left us snacks and drinks upon arrival and was super responsive to any questions. The ocean view out the window was terrific, and the place was great to come back to after long days of walking, hiking, driving around the islands, etc. And it’s just a quick 5 minute drive into Torshavn, or a 20 minute walk. Everything was just as advertised!

I loved Atli’s place. It is so lovely and comfortable. It has everything you need and a breathtaking view. Atli is also a welcoming and helpful host. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation for anybody visiting the Faroe Islands.

Guðrun was super friendly and provided us with a lot of suggestions to do in the area. The place was small but nice and cozy. The furniture was brand new with everything we needed. The apartment had a nice view of the mountains around it and was in the center of where we wanted to hike and see.

very cute, great location, super clean, easy to access and amazing view. The only down side was we had a hard time keeping hot water in the shower but the kitchen always had hot water...wasn't that big of a deal for us though.

My wife and I spent 6 days in this beautiful apartment. Very clean and functional. Plenty of space, well-equipped kitchen, lots of appliances, a large Smart TV, but above all great views. The location is great for visiting the Faroe Islands, in a short time you can reach the capital and all the islands. There are not many restaurants nearby, for those you have to move to the capital which is still only 30 minutes away. 10 minutes away there is a well-stocked supermarket. We recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy the peace of the Faroe Islands with a strategic location but also super quiet.
