Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Trafaria

Martim’s cabana overlooking Portinho da Arrábida is truly something special! Nestled in a private garden filled with flowers, fruit trees, and so many butterflies, the cabana has breathtaking views of both the mountains and the sea. It feels like your own little sanctuary in nature. And if you feel like a swim, the beach is just a short walk below. The house itself is spotless and beautifully decorated with a mix of cozy country cottage charm and nautical touches. I especially loved how you can open all the windows and enjoy seamless indoor-outdoor living. There is so much light and fresh air throughout! I appreciated that the layout gives everyone a bit of privacy, and the beds and linens were incredibly comfortable. Martim and his brothers were so warm, responsive, and helpful. They really made us feel at home. Thank you for such a relaxing and special birthday trip!

Ricardos Place was great for our family of four (Kids 3,5 and 5 months). Easily accessible, a lot of cool stuff for kids and close to some interesting places and public transportation. Just around a Main Street the place is truly calm and we felt safe at all times. The place is great for lovers of architecture and has a really nice color gamma. We found a bottle of wine and enjoyed our time at Ricardo’s place very much…

Such a special place! The beach house was wonderful to stay in, waking up to that view and the children being able to run down to the sea was amazing. The beach house was very clean and just as described and the host very helpful & responsive. The host also recommended the local restaurant and what to get so we had gorgeous grilled fish delivered to the house each night. One of my most favorite holidays, we can’t wait to come back.

The place was absolutely wonderful — clean, comfortable, and full of charm. João went above and beyond to make sure we felt completely at home. Every detail was thought of, and his care truly made our stay perfect. Highly recommended!

Fabulous villa. Extremely comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful garden and pool. Easy access to central Lisbon via ferry. Close to long sandy beach.

This was by far the best Airbnb we stayed in during our two weeks in Portugal. The space is so incredibly clean and beautiful. Like a little slice of paradise, with a sea view!! The hosts even provided snacks and beverages upon arrival. We felt very comfortable the entire time. Although the family lives on the property, they were quiet and friendly and made us feel very welcome. My only complaint is you have to communicate through a third party and they require an exact arrival time and they aren’t quick with replying to questions. I prefer to book self check-ins on Airbnb so we can take our time to travel around the country at leisure and not feel stressed about arriving at an exact time, but the third party company required an exact arrival time. So I found that a bit annoying. But the hosts themselves, who live on the property were lovely to communicate with. Highly recommend this space! 10/10

Waren extrem zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Wir haben die ruhige Umgebung und die direkte Nähe zum Meer so geliebt! Die Unterkunft war super sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und richtig gut ausgestattet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns absolut wohlgefühlt. David war ein super lieber Gastgeber - umsichtig, freundlich und proaktiv. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! :)

This property is stunning. Located in front of the sea, close to restaurants and shops and anything you might need. Inside of the house is cozy, yet incredibly spacious with many different rooms to hang out in , the beds are very comfortable, the decoration is the definition of good taste. I strongly recommend this place for anyone who wants to visit this area of Portugal.

Francisco's place was ideal for our stay in Lisbon. The area was lively and Belem was only a short walk away (with public transportation downtown). The unit was well stocked as well with anything you needed and markets/restaurants were a short walk away. Highly recommended!

Vi var väldigt nöjda med själva lägenheten och området runt omkring med flera mysiga restauranger. Sen vet jag inte om vi bara missförstod beskrivningen men det är inte 5 minuters gångavstånd till stranden (snarare 30/40 minuter) utan med bil tar det så kort tid. Till stan tar det också oftast minst 30 minuter med bil, beroende på trafiken. Överlag var vi väldigt nöjda, lägenheten var precis lika fin som på bilderna och området runt omkring var väldigt fint! Tack så mycket:)

We loved our stay here! Ana and Alfonzo were very responsive and helpful with recommendations. The access to the pool and beach was so nice, especially while travelling with our 1.5 year old. A short walk to the train station was perfect for getting around!

환상적인 위치였어요. 아침마다 테라스에서 제로니무스 수도원을 감성하고, 일층으로 내려가면 가장 유명한 에그타르트 집에서 커피와 함께 아침을 즐길 수 있었습니다. 알파마지구와 달리 평지여서 강변을 따라 산책도 하고, 전원주택 단지의 동네 빵집도 들리규 여유롭게 즐길 수 있었어요. 시내이동시에눈 집 바로 앞의 정류장에서 트램이나 볼트를 타고 이동했습니다. 저희는 Lisbon congress center에 매일 일정이 있었는데 15E 트램으로 편하게 이동할 수 있었습니다. 바이샤, 알파마 지역과는 반대편에 위치한 곳이라 여행일정이 촉박한 여행객보다는 다소 여유로운 일정인 분들에게 좋은 선택이 될 것 같아요. 숙소는 단순하지만 깔끔하고 청결하였고, 온수를 포함한 수도가 잘 나왔습니다. 에어컨이 없지만, 5월 여행이라 창문만 열어도 시원하였습니다. 대로변이라 낮에는 소음이 좀 들리긴 하지만 창문이 두꺼워서 닫으면 크게 신경쓰이지 않았고, 밤에는 조용하여 잘 잤습니다. 계단은 짐 옮길때 빼고는 그다지 문제되지 않았어요. Tiago는 리스본에 온 걸 정말 환영해주었고, 필요한 지원을 빠르게 해주었습니다. 감사해요.

I must say this is the first time we actually felt truly at home at this place. The apartment is very bright when we open the curtains and a lot bigger than we thought (when you close the blinds at night, it becomes very dark which makes falling asleep very easy). Beds and sofa are extremely comfortable, and the showers are amazing. It's located in a cul-de-sac, so it's very quiet and it reminds me a lot of my small home town in Brazil. Trafaria is amazing, and from a Brazilian perspective, the beaches are way better than we expected 😍 Filipe was very proactive in communicating with us, and we appreciated that. If you're looking for a place to stay with your family that's quiet, comfortable, near lovely beaches with great restaurants, don't hesitate to book this place. A+++++

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable dans cet Airbnb ! L'emplacement était parfait avec un parking sous sol. Non négligeable pour nous qui sommes arrivés en voiture. L'appartement était impeccablement propre et décoré avec goût, offrant tout le confort nécessaire. Notre hôte a été très accueillant et a pris le temps de nous donner des recommandations locales. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit et espérons y revenir bientôt!

L’appartement est propre et dispose de toutes les commodités modernes pour un séjour agréable . Il y’a pleins bons restaurant autour comme Ottcchii et autres … Il ya pleins de boutiques bon marché autour , de café et la plage qui n’est pas loin . Monsieur Joâo est un Hôte disponible, agréable et qui fait tout pour que ses invités se sentent à l’aise . J’ai adoré le séjour !!!

Je recommande cet appartement pour ceux et celles qui cherchent une auberge dans un très beau quartier pas bruyant. Proche du centre, à 5-6 euros en taxi) L’appartement est conforme à la description. Propre et soigné. Une belle terrasse offre une vue magnifique sur la rivière et le quartier. Nous avons tout apprécié, pas de bémol, donc à recommander.

The hosts couldnt have been more communicative! So helpful and clear and gave us lots of good recommendations. Grounds were lovely, as was the apartment. The actual neighborhood on the port side was ok, the other side was nicer. So nice to have the nespresso coffee pods and sugar for the mornings. 5 out of 5

Excelente lugar, arreglado con muy buen gusto e impecable. Rita brinda una guía muy útil para andar por Lisboa y está disponible siempre. Con gran cordialidad intercambió libros con mi hijo. Muestra ser una persona muy culta y amable.

Un véritable coup de cœur ! L’appartement est idéalement situé en plein cœur du quartier historique d’Alfama, avec ses ruelles pleines de charme et l’ambiance authentique de Lisbonne. L’hébergement est parfaitement conforme aux photos : propre, lumineux, confortable et bien équipé. Pedro a été réactif et amical tout au long du séjour. Je recommande sans hésiter cet appartement à tous ceux qui souhaitent se rendre à Lisbonne !

Extremely nice apartment and well equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Location was 5 minute walk to grocery store and 2 bus stations within 1 minute walk. Balcony was wonderful to enjoy morning and evening. If you enjoy walking, closest beach is 10 minutes away. Thank you for sharing your home. Would book again if i make a return trip!

The apartment is lovely, clean, well-equipped, and even more spacious than expected. The location is close to bustling neighborhoods, but the building itself is very peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Ana and her partners are wonderful, charming, welcoming hosts. Throughout the entire process from booking the place to check-out, the hosts were available, attentive, informative and above all, kind and pleasant. The property looks just like in the pictures, clean and beautiful, with attention to detail. The view from the living room window is spectacular and the neighborhood has good restaurants, cafes, a supermarket and convenient transportation. Everything we wanted or needed was in the apartment and everything was tastefully decorated. The sofa is also very comfortable for those who want to sleep in the living room, the bedding is clean and pleasant. Lisbon was good to us and Ana and her partner are a big part of the welcome, experience and enjoyment of the place. We highly recommend the apartment and the hosts, if we return to Lisbon in the future, we will definitely want reserve the apartment again.

El apartamento es estupendo para dos personas, con todo lo que se necesita y un ambiente que invita a relajarte en él. La localización es perfecta para acceder a la playa y para ir a Lisboa en autobús. Sin duda recomendamos este apartamento y a Rossana que es super atenta. Muchas gracias ☺️
