**A Perfect Getaway at Foley's Cottage** Foley's Cottage is a beautiful, peaceful retreat—ideal for anyone looking to truly unwind. Set in tranquil surroundings with stunning gardens, the cottage offers a real sense of escape from the outside world. The house is surprisingly spacious, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and lots of thoughtful little touches. There were teabags, milk, and even breakfast items waiting for us, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Helen, who looks after the cottage, clearly goes the extra mile to make the stay special. Her care and attention to detail really shine through. A lovely lady lives beside the cottage, separate from Helen, and she adds to the charm of the place with her friendly presence and the beautifully kept gardens. Foley's Cottage is the perfect blend of comfort, peace, and personal touches. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway. Thanks Patrick

All ages were accommodated. We had seven adults and a 10 Month old baby. Great kitchen and large dinning area that accommodated a big family dinner. Walk to River was beautiful and John was so easy work with. Highly recommend as a host

Patricia was an excellent host. Super responsive at all times. The cottage is without doubt the best location in Kilmorequay. The views onto the beach are just spectacular. Sitting on the terrace at night just listening to the waves was amazing. The cottage was very clean. Beds very comfortable with great quality bed linen. Make sure to check out Mary Barry’s restaurant in the next village over (Complimentary bus service over and back). I can’t wait to come back. Thank You.

We recently stayed at Mary’s. There was 9 of us, 3 kids and 6 adults and it was more than enough space for us all. It was well looked after and it had everything we needed, it was so cosy & also spotless. We live in Dublin so it was amazing having the out door space for the kids. Check in was a breeze and Mary was so friendly she gave us recommendations also. Would highly recommend it anyone which we have already done. Tramore isn’t too far away and we recommend getting the passage ferry, it was 10 euro single and 15 euro return. It was brilliant. I can’t fault a thing about Elrove, we will definitely be back.

Myself and some family stayed here for 1 night at short notice as we had a family funeral to attend nearby. Sinéad was amazing. She took our booking, provided the best breakfast pack i have ever had at an air b and b. She was responsive, kind and accommodating, offering us an early checkin to help with our travels So glad to have been able to stay here with my family. Th house and location is amazing. We have all agreed that we would love to return at another time when we can stay for longer and really appreciate and enjoy the house and area more. Looking forward to coming back Thank you Sinead

Wonderful stay! Quiet. Clean. Comfortable. Beautiful! Only a short 15-min drive from central Waterford town, but does require driving down a long narrow to access (which is beautiful, but something to be aware of). Spacious. The 2 bathrooms have everything you need and the electric showers provide immediate hot water. Not a big deal, but be aware that you can only run one shower at a time. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need and also incredibly comfortable beds and living furniture. Highly recommend.

A fantastic peaceful place to rest when we went to a friend's wedding in Dungarven. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and everything you need, plus Mary and Jim were so kind and welcoming. A lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of Ireland!

Nice apartment in a lovely spot just a few footsteps from the beach. Shops and restaurants are all in walking distance and the secure parking is very handy. Willi was always easy to get in contact with and made sure everything was going well during our stay. We would stay there again!

We had a fabulous few days staying at The Stables. Breda and Joe have a lovely country property. We love the goodie left for us from Breda. Scones and bread both home made. The cottage is so well equipped with most things you’d need to get by but a Centra only a few minutes away has lots of options. The bed was so comfortable as were the pillows and the fluffiest feather doona. The cottage is heated but we felt we didn’t need heating on as it’s very warm inside anyway but great if it turns cold. A bonus is the washer and dryer, we’d not been able to wash for several day so felt like all home comforts were covered. We loved the kitchen and dining area, great for preparing our meals. Breda has a vegetable and herb garden which she was happy for us to use, I made good use of salad stuff and herb. We got to meet Joe who was brings the horses back into the sheds, we got to see an 8 day old foal, such a highlight for me coming from Australia’s beach scene. We highly this place Fiona

Stayed here for a wedding in the Lyrath hotel which was perfect for us as it is very close by. Gorgeous cottage, very clean and had everything we needed. Marilyn was an excellent host would definitely recommend this place to anyone

We had a wonderful stay! Cora and her husband were fantastic hosts-her husband gave us amazing local recommendations that really made our trip special. The apartment was beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed, with stunning views to enjoy. It’s perfectly located-close to town with plenty of great places to eat and a pub (The Local) with brilliant live trad music. The nearby beaches were absolutely lovely. And of course, Cora’s two sweet cats and adorable little dog were the cherry on top. Highly recommend!

The house was just as described and is beautiful. The house is very guest friendly. Martina was there to meet us and provided needed info for our stay. The directions on the Airbnb site took us to the wrong place. Would definitely stay again.

Andrea’s beautiful country home is a hidden gem of a stay! I had two nights here that were so peaceful & relaxing, whilst only being a 7min drive from the centre of Kilkenny. You have everything you need - even an air fryer, so if, like me, you love to still cook for yourself on a trip, then you’ll have everything you need. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, cozy & surrounded by nature. Heaven!

Marianne was proactive in offering advice prior to our arrival. She offered an easy and flexible check-in. Her home is lovely & close to all amenities on the grounds of Mount Juliet. We had a great stay!

Incredibly quiet and peaceful. As the house is away from the road you don’t hear any traffic. 10 minute drive to Kilkenny city, 5 minutes to Bennettsbridge- I recommend to visit the café and pottery in the old mill - and 5 minutes from Lyrath House. Apartment spacious and spotlessly clean. Sharon is a great host!

Great location to explore the local area. Annette was a very welcoming and responsive host who know the local area intimately. The apartment was excellent in every way; immaculately clean, comfortable and met our needs perfectly. Would thoroughly recommend staying here

Deborah was amazing! Upon arrival we were met with her lovely golden retrievers. Her cottage and farm were cozy and had plenty to offer as an early night in. We got to feed her horse, ponies, and pigs and were even allowed to hunt fresh eggs in the mornings. Deborah and her family are lovely hosts and we will definitely be back at some point. Highly recommend Deborah and her animals. We felt like we were Snow White being surrounded by the nature and animals!

Had a fabulous stay at Elaine’s before catching the early ferry back to the Uk. The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Had everything you could need and was in a peaceful location with a beach within walking distance. Elaine was lovely - very friendly to chat to and left us some food and drinks including homemade soda bread which was delicious. Highly recommend staying with Elaine

Everything was brilliant as described the surrounding areas were beautiful and a quaint pub and the cafe down by the river were very hospitable
