Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Transylvania County

We love the location and we loved the rental itself. The only negative was that you have to climb a steep flight of stairs and you are right next to gas stations garbage containers that are not very appealing. Other than that, we would stay here again but maybe on the apartment on the other side.

This is my second time staying at this fantastic spot, and it was just as great as the first. They are wonderful hosts, the place is a real hidden gem, and the community has so much to offer. It certainly won't be my last time here!

Russell and Lin were fabulous hosts. They are both super friendly. Their home was in a very convenient location for us and very handy to Furman University, Paris Mountain and restaurants in Travelers Rest. The home was just as described and provided everything we needed beautifully. The beds slept well and the kitchen and bathroom provided everything we could have needed. I highly recommend them and their lovely home.

Great stay. The place is very comfortable, quiet and also clean. Kitchen is spacious and has all one needs to make a quick breakfast or light lunch. We loved our walks DT.

We were so lucky to find this place about 2 miles from my Son’s house. After a short ride on some windy, hilly roads (not bad at all) we arrived in a lovely neighborhood. As hosts they were friendly and helpful and more than generous. They supplied breakfast foods, water bottles, and other food stuffs that were more than welcome after a long drive. The Airbnb was spotless and welcoming, bed (master, we didn’t use the other bedroom) was extremely comfortable. Of course the hot tub was a huge bonus that was also a welcomed perk. Barbara and Steve were there when we arrived and were More than gracious. From start to finish our visit was perfect. We felt right at home and access to downtown Weaverville and Asheville was a breeze. We will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had one concern early on in our stay and James went above and beyond in resolving it. He was very responsive to any of our inquiries. Excellent location, we had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dani’s place! We were only in town for a couple of days and the apartment was close to downtown Greenville which is where we spent most of our time. Absolutely loved the vibe the whole place gave with it being in an old silk factory! The kids loved having the pool so close by and the hot chocolate! The beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms were super clean! I highly recommend staying here!

Condo was as described, clean and neat. Great value, great for people with pets. Highlight is the large deck overlooking the woods and golf course. Host was very responsive. Only con was limited closet / dresser space which was not a problem for a short stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Kim's place. It was very convenient to our son's wedding venue on Lake Fairfield. The area is so beautiful and Kim's place was very clean, well appointed and updated. It was easy to find and easy to access per the directions. Kim was always responsive to any questions I had and the clear communication was appreciated. We would definitely book again.

Great location and comfy bed! The bed is raised on a separate platform which does require a step down if you're a midnight wanderer so keep that in mind. Kitchen is well equipped with a very nice sink. the bathroom is nice with a good sized shower. Totally walkable to the restaurants in the area. Felt very private at the end of the row of condos with a nice tree view out the windows. The back patio doesn't have chairs so pack some in the car! We wished we had. If you like soft toilet paper I recommend bringing your own. 😁 Would totally stay again. We really enjoyed the stay.

We booked last minute and by that, a day and a half before we arrived. Darlene responded within minutes and made arrival so easy with perfect directions/information. Darlene checked in with us during our visit and with the welcome packet Darlene sent us, I had minimal if any questions. The place exceeded our expectations and was so very close to the club and all the amenities. View was beyond! The only negative was we never saw a bear. 😂 We will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We came with our 4 year old and our teenager. Both of them had a great time and had plenty of things to do that they both enjoyed, which is not usually the case with their age gap. The place itself had lots of toys and books for my toddler and her own bed. There were also games to play with my teenager as well. The kitchen was fully stocked and the house had all the little details like beach towels, an airfryer, and a picnic basket. The screened porch was a favorite location for all us to enjoy. We even saw a bear one day from the porch! The resort was a blas!. We utilized both in the indoor and outdoor pools, the mini golf, and the lake. We had no problem finding good food at the restaurants around us and the store was super close as well. We spent half of our time at the resort and half of it out exploring the nature surrounding us. There were sooo many waterfalls to see. It is such a beautiful area, we will most definitely be coming back!

Great place. Big enough for a small family. Close to the club house, nature trails, and other activities. The host was very responsive, although we didn’t need to contact them as there were no issues.

Great summer vacation, the community has everything needed for a great family trip!

We had a wonderful few days. The house is beautiful and incredibly comfortable. We loved how open and spacious it is. The bedroom set up was perfect for our group especially having the twin beds and trundle upstairs. My young adult children loved the basement area to hang out, play ping pong, pool etc. We cooked each night and I loved how well appointed the kitchen was - big pasta pots, plenty of serving dishes and cookware.

Our stay at Kerry’s place was great! We love Sapphire because of the amenities like Fairfield Lake and the rec center, in addition to being close to a number of hikes. Kerry’s neighborhood had its own lake (Whisper Lake) the kids could enjoy, which was such a nice bonus. It was a great place to relax at the end of the day. The neighborhood is also walkable if you don’t mind the hills. Check out Grand Olde Station on Lake Toxaway for lunch or dinner. We had a great stay and will definitely be back!

The house was perfect for a large party. We arrived with 5 adults and 6 children. Everyone had a space, and everyone was comfortable. We spent 85% of our time on the screened in porch. It was perfect other than some of the furniture was not exactly comfortable. Everything is there for a large party. The kids especially LOVED all of the stuffed animals in the bunk room. There were toys, games and books for the kids, and I truly appreciated that. The views are stunning! We are already planning our visit next year! Thank you for being a great host. Lauri McKell

This house is fabulous! So pretty, clean and fully equipped with everything you need. The location is great, only 15 minutes to Cashiers and about 40 minutes to downtown Highlands. The drive into Cashiers is beautiful - past Christmas Tree farms! The area where the house is located is very nice as well -trails, a clubhouse, putting green and pickleball courts close by. The homeowners were great!

It was one of the best vacations I've ever had, a beautiful and complete house, a wonderful and peaceful place, lush landscapes, beautiful waterfalls, I want to go back to the same place in the summer to be able to enjoy the lakes better. I recommend it to everyone.

My biggest complaints would be we had booked for 8 adults and a toddler . We were left with only 1 extra roll of paper towels, no additional bath towels, and only one extra garbage bag for each garbage bin.

The stay at Rebecca's house is truly at the top of the list regarding my Airbnb experiences. The communication was amazing. The home was just as described. It was quiet, tranquil, beautiful. We had everything we needed and more. We could not have been happier. The community is gorgeous. There are miles of hiking trails and other activities that you can do on site. The accessibility to the state parks and the quaint town of Brevard was perfect. I cannot recommend highly enough booking a stay in Rebecca's home.

This wonderful house is less than a 10 minute walk to downtown Brevard. We had 7 guests, and there was plenty of sleeping space for all the adults, and room to lounge. The kitchen is well stocked with all sorts of cooking gear above and beyond the basics, which was great for our group. Beds are very comfortable as well. The home decorations are interesting and eclectic (in a good way) so it feels comfortable. The closet space and bathroom size varied from room to room, but was enough for our needs. This is such a great location we were able to watch the July 4th fireworks from downtown with a short walk! Would definitely consider staying here again.
