We had the most beautiful 2-night stay at Chateau Clarence Point with our family from April 17th to 19th. The home was even better than the pictures—so spacious, clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Our little ones loved the playroom and all the space to run around, while the adults enjoyed the peaceful views of the Tamar River and cosy evenings by the fire pit. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up some lovely family meals, and the whole house just had such a calm, welcoming feel to it. The hosts made sure everything was perfect for our stay. It was the perfect way to start our Tasmania trip—relaxing, comfortable, and full of lovely memories. Highly recommend this gem to anyone travelling with family or friends!

Kyle’s place was absolutely amazing. I stayed there with my bridesmaids to get ready for my wedding, it was absolutely stunning. Perfectly designed. Very comfortable to stay in.

Beautiful place with view of the water. The children enjoyed the Platypus House & Seahorse World which was 5 min drive away. The house was comfortable, with lots of thoughtful touches (eg board games - great for families). The jacuzzi on the deck was a lovely touch.

The chapel is a lovely place to stay. Inside, it has everything you need, the decor is beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of room and a peaceful, warm ambience. We appreciated the fresh bread, butter, milk and other supplies, especially as we arrived quite late. The two outdoor decks were great for admiring the wonderful views. It was nice to meet Peter and Claire - thanks so much for taking the time to show us the other historic buildings on your property. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely place to stay, everything you need as a base to explore around Launceston. Beautiful views from the living area and convenient short drive to the spectacular walks in Cataract Gorge and to the shops and restaurants in town.

Amazing stay! Felt right at home and loved every moment we were there! Fantastic restaurants are just 5 min drive away (which was extremely surprising considering I am from Sydney) Beautiful views, extremely peaceful and especially loved the fireplace and the bathtub with spa! HIGHLY RECOMMEND and we will definitely be back!!

This was one of the most memorable Airbnb experiences I’ve had in Australia. From the moment we stepped into the home, we were blown away by the bright, open-plan design that perfectly reflects the Australian lifestyle. The spacious living room, dining area, and master bedroom are all framed by large floor-to-ceiling windows that open up to a serene view of sand dunes and the ocean – simply stunning. What made this stay extra special was the warm hospitality. It was the first time I’ve been personally welcomed by a host in Australia, and it made all the difference. We were greeted with a bottle of welcome champagne, handmade chocolates, freshly baked bread, eggs, milk, coffee, ice cream, and even beer – opening the fridge felt like arriving at a dear friend’s home, not just a rental.

I cannot say enough great things about our stay at Killara House. It was the perfect place to start our family holiday, it felt like a home away from home. Grace was a wonderful host and very responsive. They had a porta cot and high chair for our little one and the house was cozy and warm making our little one sleep so well. If you are looking for a place to stay in Launceston, book this house!

What a beautiful home and surroundings. Everything was perfect, so beautifully furnished and felt like home immediately. Was lovely to have the wood fire burning when we arrived and the amount of provisions Kaytlenn supplied was amazing. Such a lovely outlook with a beautiful sunrise, so peaceful and sunny. Was perfect for our girls weekend away especially the spa. Would highly recommend this beautiful property.

What a great little find. Karen’s place is perfect in every way. From the charming appeal of a country cottage to the thoughtful touches through out. We are already planning our next escape there. The property is close to everything you’d want, with a comfy bed and great internet (important if you had to work like me). Thank you Karen for making our mini break so awesome.

This was a last minute booking for my wife, as she had some issues with the previous Airbnb her and my 5 year old son were staying at. Joe was great at helping us out and was very quick to respond. The house was immaculate and was just what they needed after a rough previous night.

Great place in wonderful location surrounded by lush green paddocks and grassland. Birds and wildlife can be seen from the comfort of the home or walking in the local area. Big house suitable for large families. Easy and quick drive into Launceston or surrounding areas.

Jen & Isaac’s place was lovely. It was well located, very clean and comfortable. It’s an easy walk down to the cafes on Charles St or even into town. The views from the dining room are stunning. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of staples and there’s a family room area and a separate lounge room with TV so it’s great for those with kids. Both bedrooms had hanging robes and the downstairs bedroom had its own toilet and direct access to the backyard. Would highly recommend.
