Excellent house and host family, great nature and fine village, we enjoyed watching the different kind of birds.

Very convenient location in town and easy drive to the Nordkapp. The place is very quiet, private and comfortable. The view is wonderful and enjoyed seeing the ships go by to and from the port. Easy parkign off street in front of the garage. I stayed here 3 nights and wish I could have stayed longer. Kitchen has everything you may need. Comfortable beds and shades/curtains kept the room pretty dark in June. A wonderful AirBNB experience!

This Airbnb is located very close to Tromsø airport, which makes it a perfect stopover if you’re flying in or out. We had a bit of trouble finding the right entrance at first, but once inside we were pleasantly surprised by the space. One of the highlights was seeing reindeer walking through the backyard — such a unique and unexpected experience! The beds were comfortable, and despite the midnight sun, the room stayed nicely dark, so we had a good night’s sleep.

Stylish apartment with a beautiful view and very comfortable beds! The hosts were friendly and gave us great recommendations on places to visit. And we had the cutest cat visitor every day (Tikky, we miss you ❤️). There were also toys for kids which was a nice surprise. 👌

A "thought of everything" apartment in the basement of the family home. Very self contained with access to a washing machine. We had 3 nights and it was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space and a short walk to a supermarket and pizza takeaway / restaurant. We managed Nord Kapp and back in a day and were then ideally positioned to head south. A short walk and you get fantastic views over the water. Thanks so much for letting us stay.

Alles war toll, der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und vor allen die Aussicht hat uns sehr gefallen.

das Haus besticht durch die schöne Lage direkt am Meer, wir konnten direkt von der Terrasse aus Nordlichter beobachten. der Wohnraum lädt für gemütliche Stunden am Feuer ein. im Nordic Hotel 500m zu Fuss gab es ein super Frühstücks Buffet. wir können eine Aufenthalt hier also wärmstens empfehlen, es fehlt an nichts!

Boendet väldigt fint skick och köket välutrustat. Toppen värdpar. Mycket vackra vyer och spännande att se på alla fåglar.

Maison très confortable avec une vue exceptionnelle

Marielle's place is very spacious, clean and has a fantastic view over the fjord. It is a great location to go skitouring on Kvaløya, one route starts only a few minutes away from the house. There is a well equipped, large kitchen and a great coffee machine. Everything was very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

We booked this property 4 months in advance and at that time it had only one review. We trusted it and we were not wrong. The apartment is new and bigger than it appears in the pictures. It is bright, comfortable and has a 5 star view of the fjord. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking.The bathroom is large and has many places to put your thing.This is one of the top 3 Airbnb accommodations we have stayed in. And especially because of the hosts! Wonderful people willing to help with anything you need. They waited for us with warm cakes just out of the oven. We found essential things for breakfast in the fridge. Even though the weather was not on our side and it snowed almost every day, Jann cleared the snow from the parking lot and offered to take us wherever we wanted. Although we didn't see the Northern Lights in all their magic, it was worth traveling 5000km one way to meet wonderful people. Thank you Reidun & Jann! We hope to return soon. Gina & Dan - Romania

Unser Aufenthalt war traumhaft! Tolle Wohnung, wunderschöner Ausblick und die Nutzung des Whirlpools einmalig.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem großen Apartmenthaus mitten in Alta. Leider fanden wir Alta nicht schön und da Feiertag war (Pfingstmontag) waren fast alle Restaurants geschlossen. Aber die Wohnung war wie beschrieben, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber.

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was exactly as described and the surrounds were beautiful. Thomas is an amazing host, helping us out with local recommendations and information. Would highly recommend (especially for those with children).

Vi hadde et kjempefint og koselig opphold her! Leiligheten/huset var akkurat slik som beskrevet – ren, innbydende og fullt utstyrt med det vi trengte for et komfortabelt opphold. Beliggenheten var også veldig praktisk og fredelig. Kommunikasjonen med vertene var helt topp – raske til å svare, hjelpsomme og veldig imøtekommende gjennom hele oppholdet. Vi følte oss virkelig velkomne, og det gjorde hele forskjellen. Kan absolutt anbefales, og vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Die Wohnung ist atemberaubend. Der Ausblick auf das Meer/den Fjord durch die bodentiefen Fenster ist unbezahlbar. Die Wohnung ist hervorragend ausgestattet. Des Weiteren waren Backpapier, Alufolie, Spülmittel, Waschmittel, Öl sowie Gewürze vorhanden. Der Balkon hat dazu eingeladen draußen zu sitzen an den Abenden, da die Sonne nicht untergegangen ist. Zwei der Schlafzimmer haben ebenfalls einen hervorragenden Blick auf das Meer. Es gibt sehr große Schränke in denen mal seine Kleider einräumen kann. Wen man ein Elektroauto mietet gibt es im nahegelegenen Einkaufszentrum ausreichend Hochgeschwindigkeitsladestationen. In unmittelbarer Nähe (ca. 6 bis 8 Minuten zu Fuß) befindet sich ein Supermarkt. Die Busshaltestelle ist ca. 9 Minuten entfernt. Der Flughafen ist mit dem Auto in 10 bis 15 Minuten erreichbar. Die Wohnung war sehr gepflegt und super sauber. Ein super Gastgeber!!! Sehr gerne wieder!!!

This was the perfect apartment! Clean and comfortable, with lots of amenities (extra points for the waffle maker). Great location with good access to public transport to the airport and city centre, and to the nearby lake. I was very sad to leave, I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Caroline was also a fantastic host, offering me an airport pickup and giving me helpful information about the area. I am very grateful!
