Beachfront holiday rentals in Trou d'Eau Douce

We have just returned to the UK after a 14 day vacation in the villa. We had a fantastic holiday the villa is beautiful inside and out. Perhaps our favourite area was the veranda. Its wraps around the villa and has many different seating areas. We spent most evenings out there. Garry is an amazing host he met us at the villa and showed us around also providing great information about Mauritius eating out beaches etc. He kindly allowed us to check out a little later. We ate out at Le Meridian and Revive several times they are local and within walking distance. Friendly staff and excellent food. La Voglia Matto Pizza eat in or takeaway is worth a visit. Absolutely recommend this villa. Thank you Garry Martyn and Christine

I had a truly serene and refreshing stay at this beautiful beachfront haven. The garden is perfectly maintained with tropical charm, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature and the sound of the ocean just steps away. Every corner felt thoughtfully designed for relaxation. A perfect place to unwind and reconnect — Isabelle has been of great help and assistance throughout my stay, she details clearly and is very patient to explain all you need to know:). A heartfelt thank you to the most gracious and attentive host, whose kindness made my stay truly unforgettable. From ensuring my comfort and security, to checking in regularly, and even helping me search for my missing cat — your warmth, humility, and presence went far beyond expectations. This place is a peaceful sanctuary, but it’s your spirit that made it feel like home. I’m deeply grateful.

Wir waren 14 Tage zu zweit im Haus und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus selber, der riesige tolle Garten, der grosse Pool, die Lage mit jeden Abend Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang, besonders auch der herzliche Kontakt mit Andy und seiner Familie haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Immer wurde sofort reagiert, wenn wir Fragen hatten und alles zeitnah beantwortet und Lösungen gefunden. Zu erwähnen ist noch, das das Haus mit Moskitonetz versehen ist und es kann jederzeit gelüftet werden. Der Mietwagen findet vor dem Haus direkt einen Parkplatz. Es sind sowohl teils Eurostecker vorhanden ausser den üblichen UK Steckdosen, so dass Adapter nicht unbedingt benötigt werden, aber auch die hätte Andy für uns gehabt. Ebenso war Besley, der sich um das Haus Pool und Garten kümmert, und nebenan lebt, jederzeit hilfreich zur Stelle. Also für uns war alles bestens und wir können das Haus wärmstens weiterempfehlen und allen Beteiligten für die schöne Zeit auf Mauritius danken.Andrea und Rudolf

Ein schönes und großes Studio mit einer tollen Terrasse. Sehr ruhig und dennoch zentral gelegen. Der Strand und Restaurants sind fußläufig in ca. 10 min zu erreichen, wenn man zu anderen Stränden fahren möchte empfielt sich ein Motorroller oder Auto. Die Vermieter sind sehr angenehm. Es gibt ausreichend heißes Wasser, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und die Räume sind mit Vorhängen zu verdunkeln. Das Bett ist bequem, die AC kühlt gt ab, wenngleich sie auch etwas lauter ist. Hier können Ohrstöpsel Abhilfe schaffen. Aufgeteilt ist alles wie auf den Bildern ersichtlich: Ein Badezimmer, eine Küche mit Sitzgelegenheit, ein Schlafzimmer und ein Wohnzimmer mit Sofa und Esstisch.

Fantastic location, directly on the beach, really quiet. House is decorated with taste and really feel comfortable. The pool is not too deep so rather safe. The beach is really quiet and nice. Swimming is easy and not deep for a long while. East coast is more exposed to wind but end of June we had pleasant weather every days, despite some occasional rain that never lasted long. Asmita the cleaning lady is really friendly but also knows to be discreet. She was really taking good care of the house and us. It’s a real plus to have her. A car is a must to quickly go around, shopping or for dinner. We hope to come back one day.

We had a very pleasant stay at Belle Haven ! We took full use of the two of the three balconies for breakfast and dinner or just to relax. The penthouse was very nice with some stunning views on the sunset. The equipment and facilities were just as described. Parking is really easy on front of the building woth lots of free spaces. The communication was just exemplary and always on point. Thank you ! We will recommend this place or possibly come back.

Le logement de Amit et Ron est très agréable et confortable. Tout est parfait pour se détendre avec la sublime terrasse et petite piscine privative. La résidence est calme et sécurisé. Tout était parfait. Amit et Ron sont amicales et font en sorte de rendre le séjour inoubliable. Je les recommande à 100%

Pascale's home is beautiful and situated in a quiet private neighborhood. The hosts are very warm, understanding and readily available to assist. The apartment is well furnished with all the equipment listed and pictures do not do justice to the amazing views on the backdrop.

The villa exceeded our expectations. The pool with its stunning sea view was absolutely breathtaking, and the entire stay was perfect from start to finish. The villa was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with daily cleaning provided by a kind and helpful lady who took great care of us. The beach was quite coral, so I recommend bringing water shoes. Overall, we were absolutely delighted and I would definitely love to come back in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We spent a great holiday in the ground floor Black reef apartment. The apartment is huge & well equipped. Kitchen includes all stuff you need to cook, from pots & pans to microwave & cooking machine. There is a huge fridge, coffee device and all tableware you need. The bedroom is nice and big, as well as bathroom that includes shower & bath tube. Everything is clean and very well preserved, exactly like in the photos. The terrace is opening to the sea and beach, that is very clean, too. There is a heated pool in the garden that is shared with tenants of the other two floors. The beach is nice but rocky, you can go into the water in front of the villa, but is better to use one of the very nice public beaches that are in walking distance. There is a supermarket where you can find almost everything & a very nice beach club (Le Plage) in 10 minutes walking distance and few restaurants closer. Communication was easy with both owner and local responsible person. Everything was perfect & top!

Logement incroyable, paisible, calme et sécurisé. Fidèle aux photos. le ménage était fait tous les jours, l'appartement était tout équipé je recommande vivement ce logement la communication avec Christopher était facile et rapide.

The Villa is amazing. Very peaceful, safe and has a beautiful beach front view. Its extremely spacious with a huge living room and dining. Kitchen has all the amenities required. The best part is the outside sitting area where they also have an 8 seater dining table, where you can sit and enjoy the view of the calm beach. The view of the sunset is breathtaking from here. Swimming pool is very clean and regularly maintained. Master bedroom is quite big. The host of the villa Asvin, is extremely helpful and friendly. Him and the manager Sudesh made sure that we checked in properly and made sure that we were comfortable during our entire stay. Some good restaurants to try, nearby, are Village Cafe (Bf) Chessy Latte (Pizzas), Happy Rajah (Indian) and Chamarel Panoramic Viewpoint Restaurant (Amazing view). Grocery store, London bay, is also very nearby. Overall we loved the place and had an amazing time at the Villa !!

What a wonderful place! Absolutely everything we dreamed about when planning the holiday and decided to visit Mauritius for the first time in our life. Catherine was so sweet to us and did everything for us to feel at home. 20 seconds to an amazing beach with crystal clear water almost just for ourselves. The apartment is super nice and the kids just loved spending afternoons in the pool, after beach. André also helped us to get in contact with a local car rental who picked us up and brought us to Port Louis and back so the “left-side-driving” shouldn’t be such a thing for me when driving on our own. ;) This couple and that place is just fantastic. We’re so glad that we stayed at Andrés and Cathy’s place! Feels like we got ourselves some new friends and we’re absolutely going back soon. / Daniel & Sandra and the boys!

Emplacement exceptionnel, vue tout droit sortie d’un rêve (ou d’une carte postale qu’on n’a pas envie de quitter). Le jardin est un petit coin de paradis, entretenu par un jardinier d’une extrême gentillesse – on aurait presque voulu l’inviter à l’apéro ! Aucun point négatif… si ce n’est qu’il faut partir à un moment donné (et ça, c’est cruel) . Bref, on reviendra, c’est une évidence !

We had the most unforgettable 5 day holiday at Villa Lousiane in Mauritius. The location was exactly as described peaceful, beautiful, and just steps away from the stunning beach, with private access where we enjoyed some amazing snorkelling. Everything exceeded our expectations. The villa itself was cosy, clean, and well maintained. The pool and the vibe of the beach and breeze was simply magical. we also loved that everything was easily accessible supermarkets, mall, the airport, and restaurants were all close by. A big thank you to Brigette and Smitha, who was always available with tips and recommendations, who ensured everything ran smoothly at all times. Their hospitality made our stay even more special. A lovely bonus was getting to try authentic Mauritian cuisine served right at the villa ,flavourful and truly a treat. Villa Lousiane gets 5 stars from us! My girlfriend and I have left a piece of our heart here, and we can’t wait to come back for a longer stay.

We as family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our 5-day stay in May 2025 at Nandita's cosy and spacious villa, complete with all amenities in her description. The kitchen is fully equipped with rice cooker, fridge, stove, toaster, etc. There is a "Winners" store for your groceries etc. though the are is loaded with food trucks, lovely restaurants. It is so close to the Pereybere Beach that has pristine white sand. With her assistance we rented a car and it worked very good for us. Or else one can take bus to other areas from the bus-stop of the beach. Though the pool is small for a swim, it is great for a poolside party. One of the days my wife asked for hair-dryer and found it too. One bathroom has a bathtub as well. We will come again and stay at this or another place curated by her. And will definitely stay longer, do the barbeque, read a book on poolside, and many things that we didn't find time for in this trip. Everyone in my family wondered how I found her place, and I am glad I did.

Très agréable séjour. L'emplacement de la maison est parfait. La plage est tranquille et la maison bien ventilée. Les deux varangues permettent de profiter de l'air côté plage, ou de s'abriter du vent lorsqu'il souffle beaucoup. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Nous avons croisé brièvement Yolanda, qui prenait quelques jours de vacances juste après notre arrivée, mais elle a été remplacée par Sandra qui s'est occupée de l'entretien de la maison et nous a préparé un bon repas mauricien.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in der Lodge. Die Unterkunft ist vom Flughafen aus schnell und unkompliziert mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos, und unsere Ankunftszeit wurde flexibel berücksichtigt – das haben wir sehr geschätzt. Die Lodge selbst ist bestens ausgestattet und der große Garten lädt zum Entspannen ein. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Nähe zum Strand – in weniger als fünf Minuten ist man zu Fuß dort. Auch als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung ist die Lage ideal. Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft, die wir gerne weiterempfehlen!

Stayed here during our holiday to Mauritius, we wanted a night on the west coast for the sunset and you can see that without leaving the balcony. Ms Sheela showed us around and explained everything. Lots of lovely little homely touches like beer in the fridge and soft drinks, toiletries, and even binoculars even to try and spot whales/ dolphins. Patio is huge plenty of space , hosts replied to messages promptly and always answered any questions. Ms sheela and pothano were very accommodating and adaptable to any amendments throughout. We would 100% recommend and happily stay here for a full holiday.

Ubytovaní jsme si vybrali pro 3 týdenní pobyt s malým dítětem. Lokalita bytu je skvělá a na pláži jste do 5 minut. Byt tedy poskytuje pro rodinu s dětmi skvělé zázemí a pláž Pereybere se nám líbila ze všech nejvíce. Co bych vytkl je teplota bazénu, který se během našeho pobytu vyskytoval převážně ve stínu a byl až nepříjemně studený, takže ten jsme využili minimálně. Bazén je ale perfektně čistý a udržovaný. S bytem jsme byli celkově spokojeni a mohu jej každému doporučit hlavně kvůli jeho skvělé lokalitě.

We stayed at Catherine's Villa in May 25 for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The Villa is right next to the beach and very close to Blue Bay public beach and also to the Airport. Even the Bo Valon mall is close by. Although the Villa is small and the rooms are compact, it has all the basic amenities and location wise very good. All in all a convenient stay .

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans la maison de Nicolas ou règne une atmosphère d authenticité avec un ensemble de meubles en bois. Notre arrivée étant un dimanche, il nous a organisé un repas ainsi que quelques aliments de base pour notre première nuit. Il nous a accueillit chaleureusement et présenté l'ensemble des services de la maison. Celle ci est à quelque pas d'une magnifique plage de sable fin. La piscine avec bouée a été très appréciés jusqu'à tard dans la nuit . Autre service proposé, les repas locaux de Jacqueline, nous recommandons vivement. Ils sont très bons. L équipement de la cuisine est également très complet pour cuisiner Pas d'inconvénient identifié, tout était parfait pour nous(famille avec enfants)

Cette maison nous permet de se retrouver avec nous même le calme règne dans cette villa, et le bien-être se fait ressentir . Au bord de l’océan des plages resplendissantes avec un décor extraordinaire🌺 Un manuelle nous ai confié avec des adresses de restaurants, des flyers aussi pour profiter des activités de l’île, La proximité est super intéressante car nous sommes à côté de tout restaurant, hypermarché et d’autres plages à 15 20 minutes de la villa 🌺 Les photos sont bien conformes à ce que l’hôte propose🌺 Très belle accueil de la part des hôtes je recommande 🌺

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft war fantastisch. Auch wenn wir verspätet ankamen, waren die Gastgeber sehr flexibel. Der Check-In war schnell und einfach, was nach der langen Reise sehr angenehm war. Zusätzlich erhielten wir von J.C. direkt nach Check-In eine Liste mit allem was man für seine Zeit in Mauritius benötigt (Restaurantempfehlungen, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Vorschläge für Unternehmungen). J.C. und Vero waren dauerhaft erreichbar und man konnte Ihnen jederzeit Fragen und Anliegen mitteilen. Egal was man brauchte, sie waren immer sehr zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft war genau wie sie beschrieben und abgebildet war. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super. Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft wundervoll und wir werden wieder bei J.C. und Vero bleiben, wenn wir erneut nach Mauritius reisen.
