Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Truckee River

A great, beautiful, place to stay. Grandparents, their children, and grandchildren in the area for daughter’s graduation from UNR, and we all were very comfortable in this spacious house. Beautiyarea to explore also. Thank you so much!

We have 4 girls and two of them were graduating at UNR the same weekend and your home fit us all wonderfully. We loved the huge open common living room/kitchen/dining room where we could all enjoy each others company. We were so happy to have a fun backyard with a hot tub, BBQ, large table, fire pit and lots of extra seating! And it backed up to a park! This has been a tradition to give each girl a fun college graduation get together and this home checked all the boxes! Absolutely pristine home! Thank you, Wendy B

Such a wonderful stay for the weekend! Everything was clean, warm and welcoming. The neighborhood was so serene. Instructions for check in and check out were clear. As far as checkout, I recommend taking the trash out the night before you plan to leave. It’ll save you a back and forth trip the morning of! I would definitely plan a stay here again!

What a wonderful place to get together with friends and family. The house is spacious and has many toys and board games. We went during the tail end of winter, as described, there was a slope in the backyard where we were able to sled from it! Hopefully we can go back to it again next winter!

This was our families first time staying in an Airbnb and this place was amazing! Jakob was also a great host! Very communicative and responded promptly to any questions I had! We will definitely be coming back! Such a gem, super relaxing, killer views and great atmosphere.

Blue Mountain Haus offers the perfect balance of comfort and convenience. With parking right in front of the unit and a shuttle to the village just two doors down. This beautifully remodeled unit in NorthStar at Tahoe feels like home. Thoughtfully decorated, it offers a warm, inviting atmosphere. The well-appointed kitchen has everything needed for the family chef, seamlessly connecting to the dining and family rooms for quality time together. The cozy living room features ample seating, a gas fireplace, and stunning snow-capped hillside views. A quaint balcony with a bistro table is perfect for coffee, wine, or simply enjoying the scenery. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated with plush mattresses, soft linens, and fresh pillows. A stocked laundry area with new machines keeps up with outdoor adventures. Thoughtful details and communicative hosts made this our most memorable vacation rental. We can’t wait to return for another season of relaxation and adventure! Thank you, Chad!

We had a great stay! The 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom setup was perfect for our family and extra guests—definitely a big plus. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again!

We loved staying at this air bnb, there were a couple things missing or broken that we needed, laundry detergent, etc. all in all though great neighborhood and place to book for a couple of nights. For anyone else booking for the summer time, there was no AC although the fans work great and open windows at night too. It was perfect for smaller company, for us it was just 2 people and the area was absolutely lovely, we would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay in Carol’s Airbnb and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone coming to Reno and looking for a home away from home! The apartment was spacious, nicely decorated and had everything we needed (special mention must be made of the completely equipped kitchen). The place is located on a cul-de-sac in a nice and quiet residential neighborhood - but still only a 2-3 minute drive away from gas and a supermarket. Carol greeted us warmly upon check-in and was always available whenever we had questions.

We stayed there for memorial weekend and absolutely liked the apartment. It was spacious, clean and has everything to enjoy the stay. We liked the kitchen especially, it has utensils, spices,and very clean without any bad odour. The location is so close that you can walk to the downtown and enjoy the stroll along the Truckee river. We will definitely stay at this place if visiting Reno again. Thanks Mike for making the stay very comfortable.

I had a great stay at Marci’s place! The house was clean, had great instructions/recommendations for the house and area, and the backyard and deck were so nice to have. There was quite a bit of pollen due to all the nearby trees, so if you are allergic remember to bring allergy meds in the summer. The kitchen was very well stocked. They also provided a kayak and a lot of beach gear. The hot tub was fantastic!

We enjoyed staying at Heathers place. It was a great location and not too far from everything in Tahoe that we wanted to do. It had all the things we needed in a Airbnb and the outdoor views were beautiful! I will warn you that you can hear EVERYTHING the neighbors above you are doing or saying so it was very loud up until the late hours of the night. It’s not the hosts fault at all, so I would never blame them. It didn’t bother us too much, and they do provide sound machines in all the rooms, which definitely helped with that.

We had a wonderful stay at Michael’s place in Lake Tahoe! The space was quaint, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The location was ideal—close to all the activities we had planned, which made getting around super convenient. Michael and Tay were incredibly responsive and provided clear, detailed instructions that made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting Lake Tahoe—we’d definitely stay here again!

My boyfriend and I loved our stay! It was the perfect cosy space for a relaxing weekend. The private beach and pier were very quiet and we had it to ourselves! John was brilliant throughout our stay, sending lots of tips and always on hand for any questions we had. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a fabulous time and the back yard / pool area was a perfect setting for my large bachelorette. It seemed the host was anxious about having a group our size (23 women) yet did not list anywhere a maximum number of guests on the listing. It seemed we earned their trust through the stay though. Initially it felt awkward to have to text the host for things like turning on the hot tub or outdoor lights or pool slide, but they were pretty fast in response time and it ended up feeling pretty easy. Wish the kitchen would have had more kitchen towels, seems maybe not set up for full on dinner party use - but they did bring trash bags and replace the outside grill upon our request, which was impressive. Overall a positive experience! The grotto was lots of fun - we never left the property all weekend.

This was my 3rd time at this cabin. I’ve stayed here solo and with family. Every time I wish I’d booked a longer stay. The cabin is well off the main road so it’s very peaceful and secluded. The house is always clean and comfortable but I spend most of my time at the pond. I’ve caught small fish but last time saw a HUGE bass! Spent hours trying to catch it with no luck, but there are definitely big fish in there. I also saw other wild life including an otter. Even being secluded, the cabin is short drive to Nevada city and Grass Valley in case you want to explore. I can’t recommend this place enough and hope to return soon.

This was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. Ben and his team went above and beyond to make our stay at the Hart House incredibly cozy and relaxing. The home had everything we could possibly need, from super comfortable beds to a beautifully curated space surrounded by stunning nature and charming wildlife. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. My only small note is that I couldn’t locate the first aid kit when I needed a Band-Aid—but honestly, that’s such a minor thing in an otherwise perfect getaway. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and I’d recommend this Airbnb to anyone! Thank you, Ben!

Our group had an incredible trip! The house was exactly like the photos (possibly even better) and slept 10 adults comfortably. The hosts were incredibly responsive and ensured we had everything we needed. It was a peaceful location up the mountain only 5 minutes from the ski lift and less than 10 minutes from downtown South Lake Tahoe. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks for the good times.

What a location and space for a family of 6. Location was supreme! Truly walkable to all Heavenly village for restaurants, gondola, Target and other attractions. Saves so much on parking and letting people come and go without using a car. Clean! Spotless! A well cared for home that was tidy with the perfect set of amenities to cook meals for the family. Kitchen appliances were high end. Bathrooms felt like its own apartment with large tubs, counter space and showers. Beds were so comfy and firm. They felt like new mattresses. Wow. What a restful sleep after all the fun activities. 3 floors, so everyone had personal space to telework and break off to at the end of the day. If you are teetering on whether or not to book a stay, just do it. This place is a wonderful retreat from the outside, and makes you comfortable enough to “stay-in”. This house offers so much inside that you almost forget that there’s Tahoe outside!

Beautiful home with lots of natural light and views of the surrounding hills. Beds were comfortable and owners were welcoming. We would definitely stay again.

We traveled with my almost 3 year old and 2 month old. Cynthia’s home was as listed. Looked just like the photos. We loved the fenced in backyard and my son had fun playing out there. There was a pack and play for my infant. Cozy beds, clean, and comfortable. Close to everything in South Tahoe and Emerald Bay. Was perfect for what we needed! Would stay again.

We went up with a family of 8, 6 adults and 2 children. The home was incredibly clean, location was easy to find, check in and out was very simple and easy. The neighborhood is incredibly clean, quiet, and relaxing. Brooke was incredibly nice and responsive to anything we needed. We will definitely be coming back.
