It is easy to walk around in the Midding area. It's a vacant lot right in front of you, but it's not noisy. If Midding is Korean town, this place across the street has a little more local feel. We have everything you need. The bed was clean and the kitchen utensils were all well equipped. The cooling worked well. It wasn't luxurious, but it was perfect for the price. Thank you.

The apartment was fantastic. Everything is thoughtfully laid out: it’s compact but efficient. The kitchen is small but well-stocked, with a microwave, electric kettle, induction hot plate, and all necessary dishes and utensils. They sold me large bottles of drinking water throughout my stay. The shower is great, with plenty of hot water. The view from the windows is lovely, and there are lots of windows. The neighborhood can be a bit noisy (construction, football revelry), but the double-panel glass blocked out almost all of the noise and I slept peacefully every night. Tracy was responsive and helpful: she’d always answer my messages within a few minutes and helped me to troubleshoot the few problems I had. E.g. my electric kettle stopped working, and she provided a new one immediately. I’ve stayed in Hà Nội many times, and this is my favorite apartment. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Thao’s place for almost 3 weeks and it truly felt like home away from home. So sad to leave! The apartment is super spacious and nicely decorated. There are 3 balconies to choose from and a gorgeous rooftop! It is bright and clean and you rarely hear the noise from the street or neighbours. Location is great - away from the madness of the old town but easily walkable. The local area has great restaurants and cafes too. This apartment would be perfect for a short or a long stay. Thao goes above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. She is kind, responsive and helpful. Truly an incredible host. We will definitely be back should we return to Hanoi. I recently stayed at an apartment in Hanoi that was conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to explore the city's vibrant sights and attractions. The apartment itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a pleasant stay. A highlight was definitely the rooftop terrace, which offered a great space to relax and enjoy the view over the city skyline, especially during sunset. The area was also fairly quiet considering its central location, making it a nice escape from the city's hustle and bustle. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a balance between accessibility and comfort in Hanoi!

Great stay. The pictures are a bit older than the current state of the apartment; however, it was clean and equipped with the essentials :) Location is a bit outside the city so if you like the calm it is a good place.

Mai was a great host. She answered all questions and concerns promptly both before check-in and during our stay. When we arrived a few things were not as pictured or promised, and she had the staff correct them faster than one would think possible. On the downside, the promised view of "All rooms feature big window with stunning view over West Lake and beautiful landscape" was not true. The bedroom window looked out over a side street that was fine. But the living room/dining area had a view of a roof directly abutting the window, with a large water tank on top and then construction. There was no view of a lake or any landscape. The noise from the construction was bothersome at times, but never in the evening, so if you are out all day it would not be an issue. There are grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance.

This apartment was the highlight of my stay in Hanoi! (I moved around a bit as I was staying for a while). Truc bach is an ideal location - 3 mins to an incredible sunset view, and generally very close to the old quarter (10 mins by bike). The apartment was so comfortable - the bed was amazing, the shower pressure was in incredible and generally I had the best time. I even extended my stay for three more nights here.

Vivian was an absolutely delightful host: attentive, kind, and always ready to help. She made sure we had everything we needed, from baking utensils to flower vases, and communication was always smooth and straightforward. We stayed for a month, and the apartment was exactly what we were looking for: a cozy little cocoon in Hanoi, tucked away from the chaos of the city center. It offered a beautiful view and was very well connected to the rest of the city by bus. As some reviews have mentioned, the apartment does look a bit older than in the photos, but Vivian let us know she was planning to repaint right after our stay, so it should look even better now! Other than that, we had an amazing time and wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you so much for everything, Vivian: we highly recommend your place!

A very nice apartment, the place looked like the pictures, very nice location along the lake side. Not too far from the old quarter and a lot of places to see around while being on the lake and in a more peaceful area of the city. The host and staff were friendly and proactive about every question that we had and very helpful. I would definitely recommend to everyone who’s looking to stay in Hanoi.

This was one of the best places we booked during our stay in Vietnam. It’s outside the very busy and noisy center (Hoan Kiem), although it’s within walking distance from it and the neighborhood has many highly rated cafes, restaurants and bars if you want to enjoy your time sitting by the lake at any time of the day! The apartment was clean, very spacious and the equipment seemed quite new (which added to the cleanliness) and of course it had a perfect view of the Truc Bach lake! Our host was very informative and helpful before and after our arrival there! Only thing I would like to be slightly better, is a bit more clean balcony although I understand the difficulty of that request in such a big city. Other than that I would definitely recommend staying there if you’re looking for a cozy, quiet and really beautiful place in Hanoi!!

Hoang’s place is fully equipped for all type of travelers. It’s walking distance to malls, supermarkets and restaurants in the area. The check-in and check-out process was easy and straightforward. The house is accessible 24/7 and each unit has its own doorbell, which was a plus. There’s also an elevator in the building. We ended up staying at room 302, which is right below & has the same layout as this unit and everything matches the description. For restaurants, I highly recommend checking out Pho Tam and Kumo Ramen in the area (both walking distance). Overall, we had a great stay here and will definitely come back next time we’re in Hanoi.

Very good experience in this home in the quiet area of Ba Dinh! It is well suited for long stays, the little extra would be more kitchen utensils: ) The caretakers and cleaning staff are adorable! I recommend it!

good location and generally very conducive

This place is a great option, for people on a bit of a budget. Good location right next to Westlake with plenty of good restaurants and cafes. Also close to some interesting local attractions, in a nice part of town. The host is very helpful and friendly and the room is clean with modern furniture and appliances.

Overall, I had a clean and comfortable stay.

Friendly host, quick response, great support. Clean room, fully furnished, very good wifi. Area like 5 star resort. Overall great, worth the money. I will come back in a few days and of course stay here.

I stayed there 3 months with my girlfriend and our dog, and everything during the stay went great! Vivian (the host) was super helpful and reactive, and went above and beyond assisting us for everything we needed. Location also is perfect as everything Is in walking distance, the centre is not far but still is not too trafficked. Would definitely stay again! :D

First of all, the house was very spacious and clean, the kitchen had all the amenities, and the location was 30 minutes to the center. Most of the locals live in this area, there are cafes and markets nearby. The owner of the house responds immediately, and if you want to rent a motorbike, the lady working there will help you. I would like to thank Kim Phuong, who is a very helpful and good person. She is a very sincere and good person.
