Welcome to our cosy cabin in the mountains of Fageråsen in Trysil. The cabin is located at 850 meters above sea level and at the very top of Fageråsen. At our cabin you have ski in/ski out and only 50 meters to the mountain. Just below is Trysil Høyfjellsenter with ski lifts, restaurants, grocery store, sports store, sports store, ski rental, ski school and children's hill etc. Right above the cabin there are ski tracks and bike paths that go around all of Trysilfjellet. Perfect for the whole family both summer and winter.

Skansen cabin field sits right at the top of Trysil Mountain. Trysil has all the attractions you can think of. In summer, mountain hiking and biking in terrain, mountains, and trails are the focus. In winter it is ski in/out to Norway's largest and best alpine skiing, as well as ski slopes right outside the door. Bike elorado in summer with the bike lift, Magic Moose and the mountain run 100 m away. Ski lodge mountain restaurant is located 150m from the cabin. Nyt rolige dager i en lun hytte med helt ny vedfyrt sauna, perfekt for å slappe av etter turer i fjellet eller en dag i bakken. Hytta er stor (109kvm), romslig og åpen. Området rundt har gode turforhold både til fots, på ski og på sykkel. Det er mulighet for jakt- og fiske. Rett utenfor døra finnes et godt utbygd nett av velpreparerte skiløyper. Det er kort vei til alpinanleggene i Trysilfjellet (25 minutter) og Sälen (35 minutter). Her har man nærhet til aktiviteter både sommer og vinter.
