A large bright upstairs room above a double garage with a private balcony. The room looks out over trees and the garden. Private, equipped, self-catering with a small kitchen area. It’s a short walk to the Krom river. Guests have access to the garden, jetty and canal. There is a canoe to use. We live in the main house a few metres away.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely Airbnb! From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. The electric blankets and wall heater were a huge bonus, keeping us nice and toasty during our stay. The room itself was a perfect blend of charm and coziness. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to others. We had a peaceful and refreshing stay at this beautiful forest cabin. Surrounded by trees, birdsong (from afar and close), and a view of a mountain right in front of us, it was the perfect nature escape. We had a gas braai outside on the patio and lit the fire for a cosy winters night, playing board games. The forest trails were a bonus, and our host was super friendly and easy to contact. Highly recommend for anyone needing a quiet getaway!

We were there just to have a night before we started the Otter Trail. It is the most beautiful place so very peaceful. Thando who welcomed us was just one big friendly smile. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. Actually Bianca was a hostess who did not hold back in welcoming you with all the extras from coffee pods, soap, shampoo, conditioner, hand creams. (Electric blankets, lovely fire place that actually worked well) Felt like you were really welcomed and those tiny little extras made a difference in the atmosphere. I wish we could have stayed longer it was the most comfortable , peaceful, private spot. With so much to do and explore if we had the time. Brilliant location.

Our stay was perfect! Our host was incredibly helpful by : giving recommendations of the area, helping with the log fire and providing directions to the Airbnb. The Airbnb was exactly as described - great open plan kitchen with the amazing views. We felt very safe due to the alarm system on the gate for our private drive and the Airbnb itself. The location is a 10 minute drive from Tsitikamma national park and would definitely recommend you’re completing the garden route.
