The Sleepy Racoon Cabin is a small, simple house in an incredibly beautiful and peaceful setting. A wild turkey was often nearby. So many birds - a joy to watch - flocked to the feeders. There were quail and lizards - we loved it! Convenient to King's Canyon, it made a great home base for our exploration of the park. Kim's hospitality was truly wonderful. She was there to welcome us, answer questions, and she made us feel welcome and at home. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat - if you want to spend time in Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park - the Sleepy Racoon is a great place to be.

Jim and Karen were so nice to lend us an ATV to help move our things when we decided not to test our car on the final hill to the cabin. They checked in on us frequently before and during our stay. The cabin is cozy and private, and there was plenty of firewood available. We had a lovely long weekend, and our dog loved the snow!

Our 2nd time in this ranch and this place is just AMAZING!! The kids loved the swimming pools in the river. If you like fishing, there's lots of small mouth bass and rainbow trout. We were lucky to have deer visit us every morning which created an amazing experience for the kids. The location is perfect, it's 10 mins away from the Sequoia National Park entrance and at night you get stunning view of the stars . I 100% recommend this place.

Will definitely recommend the peacful charming countryside, if one loves outdoor and mother nature. Beautiful and serene sunrise as well as sunset, enjoyed Sierras, farm animals and fresh air. Hosts are very accomodative. Very responsive. We wish them good luck.

Great hosts and a great place to stay! It’s a very peaceful location and having access to the rest of the property was a huge bonus. Paul and Lizzy were quick to answer our questions and were flexible with our travel plans. We would definitely stay there again.

John and Janet were wonderful hosts. They were very responsive, helpful, and friendly. Their property was amazing. The house was VERY cozy! We were there during the last day of the Youth Fish Camp. It was a joy to see those kids learning to fish and learning a little about them, as well. We hope to be back...when the weather is a little cooler!

Such a cute stay! Loved the creek and the overall scenery. Bed was super comfy! Instructions on how to get there were very clear so super grateful for that. At the cabin I did wish there was a tv since at night you’re pretty much locked in and it’s pitch black out, so I brought my laptop and I did know prior to booking cause it does say that tv is not included which is totally fine! Loved the quiet at night and it was a great size for two people! Would definitely stay again 🫶🏻

This magical place exceeded our expectations. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and this was perfect. We were looking to get away and reconnect with each other. This was so refreshing and relaxing. Kenneth was an amazing host, very helpful, and quick to respond. The property had everything we needed. The glass house was amazing! Beautiful place to wake up to. The shower view to the outside was one of my favorites lol There are plenty of places to relax. Chair hammocks every where. We did workout at the gym. There were a couple things that were broken or dated at the gym but we still enjoyed it plenty. The sauna was perfect. We took a plunge in the river every chance we could. It truly was paradise. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the little garden and chickens. We helped ourselves to the eggs. We stayed on the property our entire 2 night stay. I wish we would have stayed longer. We ordered the steak package from Kenneth and it was so delicious. Definitely coming back

I loved the farm experience! Being surrounded by animals was so fun! The hosts were super friendly and fun to talk to. The cabin was clean and a good glamping option for when it’s too cold to camp in Sequoia.

Honestly, this experience was beautiful. man had a view and executed it. Directions was clear, had so many activities, very hospitable, amazing view, peaceful, tranquility. I highly recommend the stay. Wish I could stay longer. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The location was perfect — peaceful yet convenient. The house was immaculately maintained, beautifully designed, and truly felt limitless with everything we needed readily available. Beautiful location. This place was the perfect beginning to my much needed time off the grid. If you’re seeking a peaceful place to reconnect with yourself and nature, this is it. Very cute place to stay. You have everything what you need. I had absolutely no service (i have t-mobile provider) so I recommend save all informations for check in before you get there. Alfred is very fast with communication. I recommend this place.

What a nice stay in Lone Pine. This cabin has a beautiful direct view of the Sierras. Gorgeous in the early morning light with a nice little porch to sit on. Small, but enough room and well appointed. There is a loft with another bed which we didn’t use. Well located for all activities near by. Would stay there again.

Dean's place was spotless. Really comfortable beds, peaceful and secluded location. Lots of thoughtful details throughout the bunkhouse. Everything we needed was handy or easy to find. Loved hanging out at the porch in the mornings. Our kids loved our stay and the animals we saw on the drive back to the house. We spotted a rabbit, a turkey, horses, donkeys and beautiful birds.

Great location. Everything was as expected, best possible lodging situation if you don’t get a spot right in the parks.

place was nice, clean, had a pool. They have chickens that are around but I was able to sit outside and they never bothered me. It is next to a busy road, but if the noise bothers you while sleeping they provided ear plugs. We enjoyed our stay here!
