Dawrosbeg, Letterfrack

BeatriceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
One of the quietest places I’ve ever slept in. The views from the house are stunning. I’d recommend the view from above the raised beds looking out to the mountains, really beautiful! Patricia was lovely to chat to as we were keen to know more about the area. The actual space was bigger than we expected, the bedroom was big and super comfy. Had everything we needed and was a lovely temperature. Shower is great, good instructions on how everything works - 1 tip: have it on eco when getting the temperature you need, I like it quite hot and that’s the easiest way to do it. Shower is a nice size and it’s a cute en suite. Kitchen has everything you need, there were 2 of us so made 2 cafetières of coffee which worked perfectly. The dining room/ lounge has all the basics you need. We were out most days exploring and coming back to this comfy place with a lovely host was just the ticket. We would love to return!

Come stay in stunning Connemara! #2

ElodieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a very pleasant night at Mairead and Dennis's. The accommodation had everything we needed and the bed was really good quality, which was very appreciable after the long hike we did. The accommodation is ideally located about 10 minutes' drive from the famous Connemara lakes. We had the opportunity to chat with Dennis at breakfast, he's really a very kind and friendly person. In addition, he is a very good painter, he has decorated his house with great taste. I highly recommend their accommodation, don't hesitate. Ronnie (their dog) is also a very nice boy. Thanks again!

No 1 Traditional Cottage in Tullycross village

TraceyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Tullycross is a quaint quiet little village. While it has 2 pubs, one of the pubs was not serving food during our 3 day stay so meal choices were very limited within walking distance. However there were food options available only a 10 mins drive away in Letterfrack including a supermarket which served us well. The scenery of the area was absolutely spectacular and our accommodation was perfect. The cottage was Warm, spacious and comfortable and our hosts were responsive and kind. If you want to experience a real slice of rural Irish life this is the place for you. Highly recommended.

Abbeyglen Castle Hotel Economy Room

EllenRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Staying at Abbyglen was a magical experience. Brian and the staff made me feel very welcome and everyone was super friendly. I had a wonderful meal at the restaurant and breakfast was a treat every morning. The prosecco reception added an extra something that made my stay even better. Even though I was travelling solo, I never felt alone. Walking distance from Clifden center, easy bus connections to Connemara National Park. Rented a bike and cycled the Sky Road. The room is very comfortable, with a beautiful ensuite bathroom. Don't forget to have a drink at the piano bar in the evening, and enjoy the live music and amazing atmosphere!

Clifden Farmhouse - Room only (1)

AlexisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
If I could give 100 stars I would. Mary is the sweetest woman I have ever met and her bnb is just as lovely. The rooms are fantastic; clean, bathroom en suite, and tea/coffee. The breakfast she provides was easily my favorite thing about the farmhouse, other than the cheerful company😁. Mary is a wonderful local guide and we loved hearing about her childhood in Ireland. If you get the opportunity to stay here, you should consider yourself very lucky. Thank you Mary!

Twelve Bens View

JimRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Catherine went all out to make sure I had a great stay, everything from recommending sights, offering a cup of tea after a long day's walk, to lighting a fire in the guest living room so I could relax by the fire. A great stay.

Fabulous 1 bedroom apartment with spectacular view

FionaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful setting to launch our visit to Croagh Patrick , louisburgh and Leenaune. Pristine, compact and quiet spot up a flight of stairs, appreciated the Netflix and tv Channels. Close to fabulous swimming beaches and not quite walking distance to pub but nearby.
