The Nurseries Grevisk

A five minute drive to Lough Key Forest and Activity Park, one of Ireland's most popular family Parks. The Nurseries is c200 years old and was once the home of the head gardener to the Rockingham Estate. It was later owned by the McGahern family and is referred to in some of John McGahern's writings. A historical home, with modern comforts and a welcome for all guests. Set in mature grounds and surrounded by trees brought from far away lands to adorn the Rockingham estate.

This memorable place is anything but the ordinary. Top notch, high end tiny House in excellent location. Positioned just a stone throw from Roscommon Castle and just a 5 minute walk into vibrant town centre. It is also less than a 5 minute drive to the train station. Our quaint retreat is also right beside the Omniplex cinema. Please notice, it's a tiny house! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay for 2 adults. The Herd House Cottage

Our cosy 150 year old stone cottage in the heart of Roscommon is the perfect base for exploring the countryside, or just retreating into the tranquility in the stunning natural surroundings of our farm. Due to Covid-19 it is a minimum stay of 2nights, with one night blocked before and after each reservation to ensure everyones safety. There is a wide range of fun activities to explore and see in the nearby areas for all to enjoy.

Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels

Lough Lea House

Lough Lea House is a newly renovated and restored bungalow located in the heart of County Roscommon and in the tranquil setting of Lough Lea. The house is situated just outside the historic town of Strokestown and is the perfect base for fishing, walking, cycling or a peaceful escape from busy everyday life. It is the perfect base from which to plan your trips around County Roscommon, the West and indeed any part of Ireland.
